Il Mare they connect by magical mailbox but in Secret Message is by cellphone. Sending wrong message to unknown person lead to romance. TOP is adorable here & I think he should act in more romance drama & movies. I really like both of the drama & movie.
Sad love story between Japanese woman & Korean man. Secret message is more cute & relaxing drama but 26 Years Diary is more sad & heartbreaking movie based on the real story. I really like all the different country drama & movie collaboration. One of my favorite interracial movie.
From the same producer: Oxin Films. Just as hammy, bad acting, emotions all over the place, and some really horrid ad-libbing. However: it's another trainwreck that's just an addictive piece of madness.

About FL lack of self esteem & school bullying also but slightly no romance. Nakagawa Taishi & Inowaki Kei soooo adorable. If you like this kind of genre is a good try to watch it.
Both are about police corruption ultimately. But Rookie Cops is much faster paced and the chemistry of the cast are a joy to behold.
So i am recommending My love from another star because from seeing from the synopsis it might be a Japanese remake of it. but of course, they could be totally different stories since the only evidence I have is the synopsis.

When ML meet FL who used to like him long time ago & meet again after school reunion the two getting closed & FL accept & understand ML a lot with so many obstacles between them but they getting through together until they got married. Sad romance story with adorable leads is definitely must watch. Matsuzaka Tori & Iwata Takanori is soooo cute. Both movie & drama is worth watching.

A heart warming love story. Sakaguchi Kentaro so adorable. A must watch both drama & movie with the same title.
