Both are about serial killers and pursue criminal issues. In both of these films, secrets are revealed while investigating the murder case.
Both films deal with the mysteries of the past and reveal secrets from the past. Both of them are exciting. The se²cret will be released soon and it is definitely an interesting movie like Collectors..

Both female leads are very headstrong and confident. They know what they want and will do whatever it takes to get it. Both of the male leads know martial arts and work for the good of the country. In MY OPINION both have VERY annoying/irritating family members. They give off similar vibes and the leads feel "realistic" if that makes sense. I'd say the only difference is that the female lead in "The Autumn Ballad" fully puts her talents on display. EVERYONE knows what she can do. In "The Story of Ming Lan" the female lead does NOT put her talents on display. If you want to why, you'll have to watch it. :-)
- FL lies about who she really is
- FL hides her actual "poor" life/past and pretends to live a "cool" life
- FL has a questionable group of friends
- Someone close to the FL knows the truth
- ML personality is kinda similar

about two brothers that have been separated. the younger brother is a killer and the older brother is trying to find him to stop him. it`s switched for Tantei eye. the brother that helps the police investigation has memory loss about something in his past. the other brother that's the killer leaves clues to make him remember what he has forgotten.
Some parts give off the same vibes. While Cafe Midnight revolves around a cafe, XX revolves around a bar. Both have some night-time scenes that give you a warm feeling.
Our Secret is top tier but somehow Our Beloved Summer immediately reminds me of Our Secret from the start. High school to adulthood and how they grow and face relationship challenges. Their breakup also due to the same reason, family struggle. Overall, both are beautiful love stories.

Man to Man is more lightweight than Vincenzo. Either way, the action scenes both dramas have is fire. They both show their soft side to the people they love but seem cold to others and make calculated decisions before anything happens. Until the day they mess with the woman they love, of course. That day they go berserk and make emotional decisions.
Vincenzo is darker with an anti-hero theme. I am not sure if the recommendation would live up to the expectation the other way around: from Vincenzo to Man to Man.
If you enjoyed espionage and strong male leads who don't go suddenly good-for-the-girl cliche, Vincenzo is a good follow-up.

They are both japanese BL movies adapted from a BL manga where the relationship between the characters is complicated, controversial at times. The story in both movies is catered to an adult audience or older teens because it contains adult men who has adult like responsabilities and mature themes. The main characters in both movies are very flawed individuals, which makes continues mistakes because of their insecurities.
