It follows the story of middle-aged office workers struggling to survive in a turbulent workplace

It is about employees who fight to get out of the cruel corporate world they feel they've become trapped in.

Similarities for both Jdramas:

-The main female leads (Mashiba Kurumi from Kikazaru Koi and Kono Etsuko from Jimi ni Sugoi) are strong, fashionable and straightforward. They are also hard-working at their jobs.

-All of the main leads are both considerate and supportive to their partner, friends, acquaintances, housemates and/or co-workers.

-Both Jdramas include a comical character that brings laughter to the viewers and brightens up the atmosphere (Fujino Shun from Kikazaru Koi and Kono Etsuko from Jimi ni Sugoi).

-Both Jdramas show bickering moments between certain characters (Kaizuka Hachiro aka "Tako" & Kono Etsuko from Jimi ni Sugoi, and Mashiba Kurumi & Fujino Shun from Kikazaru Koi).

-Great visual effects in each Jdrama.

-Displays positive group dynamics (e.g. the housemates from Kikazaru Koi, and the co-workers in the workplace of Jimi ni Sugoi).

-Shares valuable life lessons.

-Consists of skillful acting from all actresses and actors!

Few differences:
-While Kikazaru Koi shows viewers a balance between the main leads' work-life and personal life, Jimi ni Sugoi focuses more on the female lead's work-life than her personal life. There are fewer scenes that depict the romantic relationship development between Kono Etsuko and Orihara Yukito. However, the special final episode gives closure to their relationship.

Both are beautifully shot costume romantic dramas with beautiful actors. Both have marriage life and typical Chinese palace power struggle.
But the stories differs much, while Ming Lan is quite smart and restrained, the FL of Ru yi is not; Story of Ming Lan is more realistic, Ruyi Pavilion (aka Snowfall of wishes) is just sweet and fluffy.

Young Vs old , etc and a lot of similar things.
Personally, I prefer Dear My Friends but the other is also really good

Similar vibes but Dear My Room is more focus on the female protagonist than in the romantic plot.
Also, the male protagonists are a bit similar, perhaps due to the long eyelashes eheh

Both leads have professional careers that we see a lot of.
Ml's older sister has a main arc in both dramas.
I feel like You Are My Hero is New Horizon's older sibling... YAMH is way more interesting but has the same feel.
You Are My Hero's romantic progression and plot strength is superior.

I guess as the FL happens to get in a love in this one you would also be able to find not in a love square but I don't know how to put but with four guys and its pretty light and entertaining.

Ep 2 has the feel of 1000 stars feel, plot changes a little. In Hometown's Embrace a teacher from Bangkok came to Isaan to teach, with low pay who will want, however in ATOTS, it was Tian trying to fulfil the wishes of dead Torfun whom donated her heart to Tian, and encountered Phupha along the way. In Hometown's Embrace, we see Mek falls in love with the director's son. However there seems to have a love rival challenging their love.

- living together in the same house (tho not with main guy)

- girl is "poor" but with a secret identity

- main guy is ceo of a company, typical secretary/ceo story

- feel-good cinemtography and sort of slice-of-life city vibes

- business company scheming

- multiple couples

Older woman younger man falls in love. The best Noona-Dongseng love story out there. Both dramas have disapproving mothers. Both dramas have the "slow burn" effect. In both dramas, the man is enthusiastic about love while the woman holds back.

Problems of the work place, sadness, hoe small moments bring us a lot joy is beautifully shown in both the dramas.

BL dramas. Golden Blood (Thailand) HIStory 3:Trapped (Taiwan). In both one of the leads is a son of the Mafia and faces constant dangers, gets involved with the other lead (bodyguard/police officer) and they must face their enemies together while falling in love in the process.

Thai BL dramas. Both include mafia/crime themes and plenty of action scenes. One of the leads is in constant danger while the other has to protect him, eventually they fall in love (both include side couples as well)

Although these dramas have different plots, I feel like they give off a similar vibe. There are harems, politics, and elaborate costumes.

Extracurricular and influence genre is suspense. The conflict involve teenager.
