Beside both have same male lead, both drama also very heartwarming. And they have similar plot so far on the fact that there's circumstances that make the leads live in the same house.

Both the dramas are based on a contract relationship where the female lead enters into a contract with the male lead due to a request of hers (basically she asks him something in turn for signing a contact with him), where both of them fall in love with each other in the process. in both the dramas they (ML & FL's) enter into a marriage contract.

In both the dramas the female leads fall in love with a domineering president(CEO), and both are manhua artists. In both the dramas the male and female leads enter a contract relationship, which is basically a contact of marriage, but fall in love with each other over time.

In "The Long Ballad" and "Princess Wei Young", the female lead has their family murdered and dedicated their lives for revenge.

the storyline it's not the same, but its show the past and present times beautifully. same like a Where The Lost One Go.

- Both movies are masterfully created with top-notch acting. (The acting in Tae Guk Gi is insanely good I've never seen any better in any other movie honestly)
- Strong and heartfelt sibling relationships in both. In Tae Guk Gi, there are 2 brothers who deeply care for eachother instead of a brother and a sister.
