FLs = thrust into a high-art context they are not used to and stumble through to navigate that world and make it their own
differences = fantasy element in Perfume, Kpop/music in Full House Take II

Strong male leads with supportive women behind them. Tragic and heavy plots with tricks and treachery- trademark of the creator, Yamazaki Toyoko.
If you are a fan of Okada Masaki and enjoys comedy drama, these two are for you. The characters he portrayed in both are somewhat similar.

Follow the lives of a group of best friends. Some of them live together. They fall in love, some fall out of love, some look for love, and others aren't so lucky in love. They both teach us the meaning of friendship.
They both follow the lives of girls who are best friends and they go through a lot of tribulations together.
Romance and struggles between a couple hit with incurable disease. How they try to create and maintain the precious memories even after one has left for afterlife.
Both involve students finding love/romance in a virtual world; both feature a ML who is highly ranked (Unexpected = creator of universe; Love O2O = incredibly highly ranked fighter;, both have good, hard-working FLs who are envied and castigated by other females.
Of course personalities, IQ levels and the struggles outside the relationship are completely different. And Unexpected is fantasy where everything occurs in an alternative reality while Love O2O resides firmly in a reality that would actually occur in the present- the moments within the game are always clearly contextualized as part of the game--not reality.
I enjoyed both. The fantastical elements of Unexpected make it a lighter story but both are worth watching.

Both are intellectually stimulating. Hello Monster is more on the psychological side while WATCHER is heavy on the investigation. The plots are different, but the concept of people being tied together due to a past incident is strong in both; said incident lead to the decisions they made for their careers. The aspect of tension is used too, but executed differently - in Hello Monster, the tension is in characters' decisions and interactions while facing the culprit while in WATCHER it's in finding the culprit.
Similar Concept
Both of these series have similar themes of a lovechild seeking revenge as an adult for tragic childhood cruelties by their father's families. Both have hidden identities and love interests that threaten to derail their revenge plans. The stepmom and stepson personalities are very similar. Hua Jai Sila is more romance-oriented, and Money Flower is more revenge-oriented with a higher production value.
Both have an “unattractive” woman who want to restart their lives and become pretty. Also in both the male lead prefers the way they looked before.
