It's also a criminal story, there are several gangs, but instead of drug trafficking, there's gun sales. The atmosphere is very similar! In both series, Kim Young Kwang!
As for me, the plots are very similar! In both series, the main character holds a high position and investigates corruption. The main characters have different titles, but in fact they perform the same function, and there is a poison theme there.
The drama really is on the cutting edge for examining the social, emotional and physical relationships that exists between two adults. That relationship is expanded by the interaction with friends, co-workers and even parents. It also is realistic because in most long term relationships there are interventing circumstances that will change the "love story" of the adults involved. This drama has a good depiction of murphy's law. Everything possible started to go wrong because of one intervening party's opinion. I call in "enlightenment" combined with lust (initially).
The twins fell in love with the same person, and the other twin suffered from a coma because of an accident.
Both are Thai BL series that feature:
• Main leads who start off bickering or at odds with each other
• One male lead who has dreams of future events
• A situation that force the leads to live together
• A cute, lighthearted romantic comedy vibe

Different versions of same story!
Second chance angsty romance!
High sexual tension!
ML pursues FL shamelessly despite thinking she is married to another man.
I prefer the version with Xiao Xue & Tian Xiang.

Very similar backdrop, also about the Anti Organised crime and corruption campaign that occurred in Mainland for 3 years. Chasing the Undercurrent is based on a true story whilst The Fight isn’t….
Both are crime-thrillers with nuance and humanity. Kuchinai Sakura’s pace feels comparatively more slow and drawn out, while Orokamono no Mibun is more blatant in its brutality.
However, the major reason I’d recommend viewers of one to watch the other is the human desire to cling desperately to hope. Both of these films are fairly bleak, with Kuchinai Sakura’s understated bleakness in contrast to that of the heavy and blunt bleakness in Orokamono no Mibun.
