Kwak Sun Young gets into a car accident and develops this ability of detecting a man's past from his body odors. She divorces her husband when she finds out about his long history of girlfriends. Sun Young then sets up a business where she helps women and even the police track down suspicious men and husbands.

Both are comical + political satire romcom in the parliament and government.

Both are dealing with a student falling in love with an older guy. In both movies characters are mentally tortured because life isn't going easy with them, but thanks to their beloved they still manage to get through it.

Both are about girls who come from a humble background and then become royals. Both male leads are infatuated with another girl in the beginning of the drama.

Written by the same person, both dramas have a very fresh take on relationships and the identity of women and men in society.

It also takes place at a school. There is murder and it makes you think a lot and gets you curious.

Both dramas revolve around siblings and other family members. The series reveals the life, loves and ambitions of each individual and the routes they choose to take to achieve their goals. Both dramas were humorous, but had enough serious content to balance the series. Excellent cast; you may have a hard time picking a favorite.

Both dramas involve leads that have their lives intertwined by what happened in the past. Both had male leads that have secrets kept from the female lead. The male leads falls for the female leads despite not so remarkable or favorable impression of the female lead at first.

Both secrets from the past are gradually revealed providing new twist. Although, hotel kings plot twist seemed more long and winding.
The male lead will do anything to protect the female lead

The best part of both dramas is the chemistry between the actors who played the OTP .

It's got sort of the same story in that the main girl, Mioka, has a terminal disease and the story deals with her finding out about her disease and learning to live with it. This story focuses a lot more than 1 Litre Of Tears on the romance so if you like more romance in your stories, this is the way to go.

There are definitely some similarities between these two dramas. In IHYV it's a guy who gains special abilities after an accident and then helps a lawyer, in TGWSS it's a girl who gains special abilities after an accident and then helps a police officer. There is also revenge in both dramas.
