If you enjoy one of these shows, you might well enjoy the other as the “unfit/overlooked person meets fitness-trainer who helps them grow and then love blossoms” is the core shared structure. At the same time, they’re not identical, so you’ll still get fresh character dynamics and different flavour in Pump Up the Healthy Love.
They share themes of body positivity, confidence, and emotional growth. The main difference is that Oh My Venus (2015–16) has a slightly more emotional, healing tone, while Pump Up the Healthy Love (2025) uses a more modern, light and comedic gym setting.

The protagonist has a similar family background with deafness. The movie is very chill, has lots of sign language & is slice of life that moves in its own comfortable pace. You can’t approach it with a rushing mindset, instead it’s a calm river that u silently watch flow.
Both depicts the life of LGBTQ individuals but in different generations and period of life. I genuinely like both and I can't pick which one is better but dang 2024 had good representation in Jdrama and Kdrama and I think these two are strong candidates.
Both FLs are pregnant/give birth and have to find out who the father is from a trio of possible men.
Both are short Chinese dramas in which the FL suddenly develops the magical ability to see some floating numbers over someone's head, representing something about them.

The dark crown is defintely the more stupid but devoted version of well intended love. at least we don't have woman doing marthons just sickening to see. but I think the male leads are very similar in there dominating way and when he said ur not going anywhere I just got flashbacks from well intended love.
Both dramas mix office romance, humor, and strong visual chemistry, but Her Private Life finds a better emotional balance. It still has the same playful energy and light tone, yet the characters feel more self-aware and grounded. If A Business Proposal left you wanting more emotional honesty beneath the charm, Her Private Life offers that balance—still fluffy, but more human.

Both revolve around a main character with a mental disability. Both focus on the support they get from people around. In both stories, people who crosses path with the main characters open their minds to different ways of understanding the world.
Karina is main character in both stories, tho in boku no aruku michi she is the childhood friend.
While we don't know the details of Yuzu's disability, Teruaki is autistic thus the drama talks a lot about his disability so the viewer can learn more about it.

Hard to explain but they give the same feeling:
"Not all cruelty is bad especially if it's the only possible way to get revenge"
+ The mother that created a villain
