Similarities are many:

Both FL are beautiful and innocent and let all other people walk all over them. Therefore they have been bullied all their lives.

Both FL have learned by their grandmother to never act on anger and have patience all the time.

Both ML´s are cruel towards the FL and sexually assaults them.

Both ML are also obsessed with the FL´s and never can keep their hands off them and stalks them all the time. They are also extremely jealous when other men give them attention.

Both dramas are slap-kiss.

There are evil jealous nang rais that wants the ML´s for themselves and screams all the time.

These two are remakes,so both are exactly similar stories...but presented very differently.

Monthai are cruel in both versions towards Bee,thinking that she is a gold-digging bitch. In the original version he realizes the true colors of his fiance Viyada much earlier.

Monthai never seems to be able keeping his hands off Bee,despite his declarations of hate.He is much..and much attracted to Bee in both versions.I loved when the mother and aunt scolded him for his double standards behaviour and mistreatment of Bee.

- ML completely obsessed with FL, tries to be with her and as close to her as possible every chance she gets, a lot of skinship b/w main leads
- same nostalgic feeling, made in late 90s.

Both have slap-kiss, especially Ngao Asoke.

Both lakhorns have identity switch. Although in Ngao Asoke ML was aware of it all the time.

In both lakhorns ML punishes FL cause of misunderstandings.

In both lakhorns Evil second female lead is horrible and greedy.

FL is forced to take the second female lead`s identity (identity switch) in both lakhorns.

FL is orphan and is described as very beautiful in both lakhorns.

In both lakhorns FL has the sense of gratitude towards Evil SFL and the elders and doesn not stand up against them.

If you liked the 2016 version of this drama, you might also like to watch this older version. I think the 2016 lacks passion and chemistry between the leads, but this older version makes up for that. Not as stunning to watch when it comes to costumes and setting, but the leads are easy on the eyes. Especially the male lead is eyecandy.
