Leh Nangfah (2014)

I need to take a break from Korean/Taiwanese drama. So I haven't watched a Thai Lakorn for so long, the last one I watched was Kaew Lorn Phat (Something like that) After watching this, I LOVED IT (Coming from a guy's point of view)

Story:
Pretty unique, I have never watch a drama like this ever? To be honest, I found episode 1-4 kinda boring, but after a while it picked up. There are some misunderstanding and so-so. There's no evil second lead so that's a new thing to me (plus for me). The bad"guy" doesn't come out until the end but as you watch on, they give you hints, so look out for those.
The plot itself is already self-explanatory: Selfish and conceited girl turns good

Acting/Character:
All the cast did EXCELLENT, mostly the two main characters!
+Chemistry between the two leads is cute :)
+No evil second lead girl/boy
+Angels :P
-Kinda annoying second lead (Not Pat) though (Sticks to main actor like glue sometimes)
-Pat's and Beauty's relationship will sometimes be annoying (To me sometimes it was)

Music:
The music wasn't that bad but rather dull, there was like only 3 songs that I could remember
2 instrumenal music?
1 vocal song

REWATCH VALUE: Probably ( If Im bored and need a drama to watch)

Watch this drama if you're a big lakorn fan or asian drama fan. This is one of my favorite thai lakorn :)

This is sixth or seventh lakorn I have watched and I have to say it was really unique and entertaining. Totally refreshing compared to typical lakorn. Of course there's typical instruments for thai drama like revenge because of jealousy or that female lead is often misunderstood.

But the story is great and male lead is eye candy (actually reminded me a bit of taiwanese actor Aaron Yan). Leads have great chemistry and side roles were enjoyable too.

The plot at first seems to be your typical bad rich girl turned good but because of the fantasy element in it, every episode was entertaining and I kept watching without getting bored. Well, in first like two episodes I was wondering if this is going anywhere but if you're going to start this lakorn, I advice you to watch at least the first five episodes. The story unwraps itself only in the last few episodes so it keeps you guessing all the time who is really the bad guy.

Overall, if you're looking for something different compared to usual lakorns, this is your drama.

Let's admit, this lakorn was one of a kind, I've never watched a lakorn like this,

We have the bitchy rich spoiled girl. Angels decided to punish her, she turns into a bird with sunset, so she starts to go to one person she used to hate and bicker as a kid.

Without knowing who the bird is he names the bird beauty, as the bird has the exact mannerisms as beauty the girl he dislikes ( actually the bird is the girl he dislikes) so he loves the birdie, he feeds the birds, allows her to sleep on his chest, she fell in love with him and as her behaviours change he fells in love with her.

time to time I got bored but we have Kasetsin Puttichai as an eye candy who reminds Ji Chang Wook.

I don't think that I'll rewatch it, let's say maybe in a year's time if i get bored or nothing else to watch.

It's not that boring boring that you want to drop and jump to another lakorn, but not that much super either, It's OK.

If you wanna watch a unique lakorn without bad leads no ex bf gf getting in the way, no bitchy mothers or fathers, so this is the perfect one for you, there's enough romance to keep you want to more about the ending.

This is my first time to make a review of a Lakorn drama. I have watched at least 5 Thai drama already and a few thai movies and to be honest I am enjoying all of them. This is not my first time watching Push, and he will probably be on my actor to-watch list. He just look like my fave SK actor JCW. I lke his eyes and the many expressions it can do.

I love this drama because of its fantasy theme and the lessons that we can derive from it. The story is light, colorful, funny and very engaging. I like the chemistry of the leads as they look good together on screen and I am also amazed by the chemistry of Push with the blue bird and the big cat, it was so adorable! Although this has many cliche, it is still a good drama to watch.

The acting of the two leads are quiet adorable, they really make a good chemistry on screen. They act well and they just delivered as expected. I like how they interact with each other and they perfectly fit the roles and the characters.

I just noticed that there are only 2-3 OSTs given for the drama and did not quiet give me a lasting impressions.

Although I really love Push but I think that love is not enough for me to re watch this piece of drama again!

Overall, I still rcommend this if you are a fun-loving drama addicts and if you are into romcom fantasy genre!

This wasn't boring!

One of my early lakorns (as of 2023, I did watch more than 400 of them... many of them I dropped:) and looking back, I must say it was quite remarkable: because it was NOT boring!:)
I don't remember much detail of the story, or any of music, or the main guy - I had to look up it was Putt Putichai (not my type) but I remember this: I did laugh watching.
Vill Wannarot is in full bloom here (I didn't like her younger) but to be called 'Beauty' even if you are a beauty... Ugh. And that's only the start of it:D
The whole thing is madcap to the point you happily go with it (normally I hate ANY supernatural element in my lakorn) and just enjoy it. It's a bit over the top hearing the silly voiceovers of someone being a bird or watching the main guy lovingly snuggling in bed with an winged animal, but still I watched this to the end... Didn't particularly feel the need to watch again but I think I could survive it. Now after so many other lakorns watched, I still remember this did NOT bore me so kudos to that!:)

It was my first Thai lakorn. I decided to choose this one because I read that it's also a comedy.

The story was light and funny. Even if sometimes it was predictable it was interesting to watch.

What was good:

* Good chemistry between Lallalit and Teepob. I hardly ever found them together annoying. Maybe just sometimes I thought that they are really slow with their feelings.
* Nice plot. It was something new to me. Something like a mix of fantasy with real world and still it wasn't too messy.
* Self-development of Lallalit, it was nice to watch how she change her ways of living.
* We could learn a little from it. Watching how doing good things make the life of Lallalit better was a good way to learn that not being selfish can solve our problems.
* Friendship between cat and bird <3
* There was econd-lead character that I didn't expect to be evil

What wasn't really good:

* "Friendship" between Pat and Lallalit. I couldn't really understand why those two were this mean to each other.
* Most of the time she was a bird so I was a little disappointed.

To sum up, it's very good lakorn and if you haven't watched it then just do it. It's also good choice for first Thai lakorn bacause you won't run away screaming :)

I'll rewatch it for sure (I watched it 3 or 4 times already ) in the future.

Taming of the Shrew's Modern Adaptation

I can't watch a drama before knowing things
1. If there is a HEA
2. If there is something that would be triggering for me.

So, when I start writing a review for this drama, I can say that this had a HEA. And basically, it has no triggering event. The FL's mother is an Angel who is overlooking the FL from heaven and she sees that the FL has become a spoilt person who doesn't care for anyone. The mother wishes to help the FL but Angelic laws don't allow her to do that. So, instead of directly helping her the mother's friend angel puts a curse on the FL which forces the FL into becoming a better person.

I don't know why but I always liked Taming of the Shrew and this story reminds me a lot of that. Though, here the ML is a nice guy who doesn't "tame" the shrew but he helps her in becoming a better person. In fact, the FL was really mean at times at the start. She had kindness within her but I believe she was just cynical and she was also trying to escape her reality when the drama started. But as the story unfolded she underwent major growth.

The ML was Push so he just had to get on the screen and it was enough. He was also a wonderful guy. His interaction with the FL when she was a bird was super interesting. He was also very mean to the FL at the start since he didn't like how mean she was. t was cute to watch.

This story had its own "Act of God" moments. But since its premise included real Angels, I guess the moments were to be expected. Overall, this is an interesting story and it is definitely worth a watch. It felt sad at a few points but it was great to see that the FL grew and she found people who genuinely loved the person she was.

A Fairy tale

I've loved this drama, the story is supercute, reminding fairy tales.

The Female and Man Leader are handsome, and have a great chemistry between them, and act is very good. In spite of the traditional female (FL and SL) screamings and childish behavior to the age of their characteres is was delicious to see.
Very funny, sweet , romantic .

All the actors and actresses are good at acting, good-looking guys and beautiful girls. Also they dress very well so it's good also for the eyes. I saw all the 28 episodes without forward.
If you look for a fantasy drama this is one of the bests.

Distrayant, déroutant, drôle, inattendu... un plaisir de l'esprit !

Quand on accepte le format Lakorn (très mélo, avec beaucoup d'insistance sur les regards, mimiques exagérées, musique trop forte et trop présente, etc.), on peut prendre du plaisir à ce plot complètement farfelu (FL arrogante et égoïste qui est punie par les dieux, et se transforme en perruche du coucher au lever du soleil).

Les effets spéciaux sont créatifs malgré un budget bien en-deça des grandes productions américaines ou coréennes. Il faut aussi passer sur des erreurs/défauts multiples tels que le magasin de fleurs qui comporte 3 salons mais seulement 2-3 bouquets, ... et j'en passe.

MAIS :
- ML super handsome.
- Performance remarquable de la FL et du dresseur de perruches
- story amusante (notamment la vision des anges et déesse)
- interactions du CL trop cute.
