This is my first review, and its probably going to be long because i literally just finished this show and i am PISSED.I've been on a revenge, slap/kiss binge for a while now, i believe i've become knowledgeable of the genre and i say that this is literally THE WORST. I have tolerated a lot of things from revenge plots, but the actions taken in this drama weren't convincing enough to make me suspend my disbelief.
First, the romance:
The writers and directors really tried to convince me that for the first 3 episodes, the male lead was more than some super creepy opportunist. He popped up everywhere, coated his voice, got all up in her space, and just stared and creeped her out. She was so creeped out by it, she literally avoided him. It creeped ME out, i literally had to power through it and make myself watch the episodes.
And when the supposed romance happened, it literally happened so randomly. Lets not talk about the fact that they have no chemistry. Lets not talk about the fact that he literally rapes her and attempts to rape her every chance he gets when he's angry. Lets not even mention the fact that he literally insults her in the worst ways, abuses her to the point where she had to go to the hospital and get stitches—oh no, those were just so insignificant incidents we're supposed to forget about because even if he did those things, he loved her all along.
They didnt even dedicate screentime to developing the romance. It was family members saying "oh he loves you" while he pushed her around and raped her. They didnt even show when the hate turned into love so how on earth am i supposed to buy it?? Its like they forgot it throw the romance in. How??? The episodes were nearky 2hrs long???
The only authentic romance was between the side characters. All the main couple had were trash interactions-they barely knew each other outside of their negative qualities.
Second, the characters:
The ONLY characters i liked were the side characters. Frankly, the female lead had no personality and the male lead was a coward. How is it that the side characters have more development in their pinky toes than the main characters do in their personalities??? Not only that but the female lead LITERALLY LET HIM RAPE HER, didnt report it, continued to get upset and be all "why are you being so mean to me?" Instead of CALLING THE POLICE? They were so set on making her out ti be the responsible sister, the level headed on who was innocent and rational in the beginning but after the first 3 episodes, all she does is cry and take the abuse silently like she deserves it.
The male lead, his DELUSIONAL ABUSIVE ASS, had me upset for the entire series. Everytime she so much as looked at a guy, his mind ran rampant. It was basically "you're a whore, no one man will ever be enough for you, you stupid bitch" for about 12/15 episodes, EVERY TEN MINUTES.
Third, the ending:
What the hell? They really want me to believe that 14 episodes of torture is resolved with some childish fake engagement? I wanted her to LEAVE. I wanted her to be gone, and he can search for her and ACTUALLY CONVINCE HER and beg for her forgiveness and come back. But no- she forgives him immediately. It had me wondering why on earth i stuck around.
ALL IN ALL, this was a hot mess, a trainwreck, a totally insane show that i be watching again. And above all else, on top of its sheer stupidity, unconvincing acting, and trash characters, it still manages to be BORING. How??? HOW???
The writing is TRASH. The only saving grace was the side characters.
In the end, this is more of a rant than a review, but if you're down for some mindnumbing bullshit, this is for you. If not, head elsewhere. If you really like the premise of the plot, try Kleun Cheewit—it does it way better, without the rape and outright abuse. They do a much better job of developing the characters and showing that the hate actually gradually turned into love.

I watched this when it came out back then, and I was glued to the screen, dying for new episodes. It's the type of drama where it's so bad, it's good. I've always been a fan of Janie, for some reason I believed her to pick roles that are strong and fierce. This was not her character at all in this lakorn. She cried a lot, yearned for love a lot, forgave too much, and was too weak-willed. She tries to better her situation but nothing ever comes out of it because I guess the writers like abusive romances.
Rome's character was not a good person. He was manipulative with his stupid handsome face and sweet words. Shoot, I would have fallen for his tricks too! He hurt the FL over and over and fell in love because she never left (?) like wth dude? He does turn a new leaf and become extra adorable but it does not win me over, I do not believe he could be redeemed.
Evil Nang Rai exists strongly within. She is super creepy and maybe she should have ended up with ML (lol). The side romances were sweet and actually healthy for the most part! It really made me question how ML's brothers could treat women so well, and he was such a douche!
What really annoyed me THE MOST about this lakorn is the telling and not showing aspect. Everyone literally tells the FL that ML loves her, but we don't see his love! It's just abuse! They would be the worst people to be around if you were trying to leave an abusive relationship because they seem like the type of people to enable the abuser.
If you like to watch angsty romances that's a total mess, you'll enjoy this.
Music was pretty good ngl. I've watched the MVs a few times .

Not a bad Lakorn, there are nice and funny scenes as we wish. (only for secondary couples)
The reason for the low grade is "for whom the script came".
Most viewers do not like the theme that this Lakorn automatically loads, eventually do not like the story.
But for those who sympathize with the theme (which is something off the KDrama line), this is very good.
I was afraid of certain scenes, but I had to understand the theme of the story.
Honestly, it is something that you will love or hate so much.
Personally, I wish the female leadership would be more difficult with the one who caused her pain.
What pleased me, was undoubtedly the performance of everyone in the cast. That yes, it is something good in this work.

rape is not romance.
Rape, as torture, to instill fear and punish the male lead's captive, the female lead. A revenge, born in the insanity of a grief-filled mind - The male lead blames the female lead, for a car accident that killed his at-fault wife. The male lead approaches the female lead and her sister, indebting them to him. He then pretends to court the female lead, until she believes he has feelings for her. But, after intimacy, the male lead bursts into that reality, by revealing it's all been for revenge. Now, the male lead is in control. Putting her in personal danger; with physical harm; under mental and sexual attack. All done in the name of white-cold-rage; calculated to bring the male lead's victim, the female lead closer and in his torturous control. The 'rape to romance' story-line was a stupid choice from the start. This, was a straight up revenge plot that should have had some criminal consequences. Rape is not romance, and doesn't belong in the romance genre. Avoid.(source; read; My Custom List "Rated One")

I loved the sister of FL romance more than the Main lead romance.
I find no romance when the ML is abusing, raping, being mean and tries to redeem himself in the end .
The ML gets suspicious of whoever the FL talks to but its fine for him to hit on other women.
I was scared of the ML who looked creepy in the beginning. I wish the FL was not the weepy kind but spunky.
The performance of everyone was good thats the best part of this lakorn.
It had all the elements of a thai lakorn- evil lady after the ML, two cute other couple stories, thai culture, the maid who was funny and emphasis on family.

Revenge Lakorn with emotions, comedy, murders and family drama
This lakorn has the famous troupe - Revenge.Kudos to the entire cast. each and every cast member was perfect for their role and they played it well.
There was revenge, comedy, murders and family bonding... A large family of 3 brothers and 1 sister finally get their love by the end of the lakorn.
I loved the sibling, their parents and the house help.. They were nice..
The lead man had issues and in the middle episodes I felt like slapping his face hard.. He irritated me so much.. How can someone be so vengeful without trying to know the truth. I guess losing loved one immediately after marriage can make lose rationality.. But how can someone immediately fall for a look-a-like of dead wife? Don't they be curious to know how someone can match a dead person in looks so much. A little background check wouldnt hurt. The leading man had all the resources to run a background check and yet he doesn't do that... A person can so closely resemble someone only if that person is a twin of the dead or has undergone plastic surgery.. simple...
The leading lady is graceful and pitiful at the same time.. I think she should have just told everyone whats going on between her and p'kin so that she can get help. Both her and P'Kin needed help. The other family members were nice and they would have easily helped had they known how toxic their relationship can become... Thank god at least the second brother starts getting hints about the lead man's vengeful behavior.. Even he gets to know the complete truth pretty late....
I wish Tawan had told about her pregnancy to Kin early on. He did love her and her pregnancy would have made him more gentle towards her and compel him to convey his feelings towards her.... Hiding pregnancy won't do any good... She would have never been pushed and pulled and the man would stop chasing the look alike and start caring for her.
I wish the lakorn writers give some intelligence to the Male lead and some to Female lead as well..I am happy that all ended well. Baby was fine and the couple made up...
The Vice president and his secretary's romance was so much fun... The comedy was very much needed... The Doctor son was the most sane person among the brothers.. Their Mom was fantastic too...

I liked it.
I actually really liked this drama. The FL was super annoying with her crying every single episode. So weak and meek. The ML was an a..hole of the highest order and I didn't like that it was the last episode where he did his repenting. I hated that he was manipulated by the evil woman. He seemed so weak. Nonetheless, I liked this drama and was glued to it from start to finish. I read in other reviews that it was a trainwreck and I kind of agree but it's the type that you cannot stop watching. Was this review helpful to you?
Crazy Annoying Plot
The ML is so un-rational it's crazy, and the FL was shown to be smart at the start of the show however she became more stupid, she stayed away at first but then she suddenly just was fine with him??? Super confusing, and the sister is childish despite being in this professional role of a sectary. All the women are portrayed as stupid or obsessed with the ML and his brother despite them having a lack of any personality or really anything you would want from them but their money.
It's a good watch overall though however the FL could stop crying for a while or the ML can stop being so delusional. Chemistry was good between them but I wouldn't watch again as it annoyed me to such a high extent.

Love to hate
This is one of lakorns that I've re-watched several times, yet every time I watch it, I am so angry at the ML and annoyed by the FL. But I keep watching it! The ML is unreasonable, over the top jealous & possesive, sexually abusive, verbally, mentally & emotionally abusive...in short ,he belongs in prison. The excuse is his intense love for his dead wife. This informs all his actions and drives him to acuse, abuse & assault the FL, and he manages to do all that while not even bothering to check his facts first on who really caused the accident. This intense love is also the reason he becomes besotted with an evil look-alike, before realising that she is not the same person and his unwilling love for the FL becomes more conflicting for him before he finally surrenders to it. This trope was no doubt included to forward the romance of the two leads, highlight the ML's confused emotional state and introduce the other story elements of murder, mental instability, obsession, manipulation etc.
Something I found really triggering was (as part of his emotional abuse) when the ML told the FL that it was a race to see whether he or his brother could F*** the sister first. Disgusting! And then there were the multiple rapes. In a way it proves that the character was well written because he was really hate-able and unsympathetic. At no time did I feel sympathy for him or understand his actions. Dome's ML character is realy eye-candy but unfortunately, although he was trying to look vengeful and scheming in the first episodes, he came across as just looking creepy.
The FL is a real door-mat. That is the most annoying part of this drama for me. She just puts up with everything for the flimsiest of reasons. And she cries a lot, giving off that 'poor, poor pitiful me' vibe which can wear thin pretty quickly. There were a couple of times when the character stood up for herself with the ML and that was satisfying.
In the end I did feel sympathetic towards this character because she did resolve to leave the situation and stand on her own two feet, so she at least showed some backbone then. I understood the way she wanted to keep the pregnancy from him because it would have been perfectly in character for him to take the baby from her and cast her aside.
The actress is a real beauty though and some of her outfits were stunning and highlighted her voluptuous body shape, while others were quite dowdy.
The side characters were endearing, except perhaps for the sister, who was quite flirty with the ML at first. This was supposed to be because she was innocently fun-loving but really it gave me the impression that the character was slutty. Again this was introduced to further the ML's revenge theme. The rest of the characters were sweet and it leaves you with a warm and fuzzy family feeling, even amidst all the negative stuff swirling around.
For the first time, I really wanted the ML to at least suffer a bit and experience some emotional growth. Instead of forgiving him so readily in the end episodes, I wanted the FL to flee and get away from him, at least for a time. So she could heal and he could grow and repent, but alas, it was all too quick and easy for him.
Rewatch: Yes, I'm ashamed to say I've rewatched this several times. The tension runs high throughout the show. There are bits that are hard to watch, satisfying endings for all characters, and some good acting.
I think a lot of people will enjoy watching this. You'll either love it or hate it or be like me and love to hate it!

A TRAINWRECK INDEED.
I started watching this because I was curious about how the story will play out and because Revenge must be a genre in Lakorns, I gave in.The story was a mess. The foundation was not thoroughly built that the plot crumbles in some aspects.
The male lead was so creepy and doubtful as hell from the beginning. I thought the female lead would be that smart bulb since she kind of figured it out but heck no. I also didn't see how they developed a kind of love for each other when one was hell-bent on revenge and the other was on the unfair receiving end of it. There were times that I wished that the female lead ends up with the doctor. He was the best son there.
If you want some fluffy romance plots, dream on. There's nothing here. The whole story was just so confusing that I fast-forwarded my way to the end.
Dome looked good here tho.

What to say about this drama.. Have seen many thai dramas lately.. But have to say.. The worst and stupidest male lead ever..? (No offense to the actor Dome) I don't understand his logic of taking revenge to the FL when his wife is the one who actually hit her. Just because she died he thinks it's the FL's fault. Treats her so badly..even rapes her. He is an example of how a man shouldn't be. This is what that makes Kluen Cheewit different frm other revenge dramas.. Although the ML hated the FL so much, he never abused her sexually.. And even comforted her when she was in pain. Coming back to this drama..FL is so beautiful...Wish she had some pride for herself at the ending.. Forgave him so easily.. Though I hated the ML watched the drama till the end hoping FL may give him back for how he treated her...but like I said before she has no pride ..forgave him so easily..Though I watched this drama till the end I don't recommend it..
