If you're hoping to see a memorable horror movie, you've come to the wrong place. "The Swimmers" is not a fantastic movie you'll want to see a second time, but it's a good movie if you're looking for something fast and different.
"The Swimmers" is well structured in the context of the whole, has a reasonable history with components essential to its memorization, this is to be remembered positively or negatively.
Highlight for the cast, where the viewer emotionally engages with the main characters. The criticism is due to the end of the film, where the main character's affection should be of darkness and fallen sins on him, was of a brilliant face worthy of winner. Protesting death as the winner's face is definitely a bit gloomy.
The ghost on the diving platform should have done its job and not stay static, in the end the curse is really intended although a bit of anti-climate certainly came as a surprise after the cliché.
All imaginations in Thailand are limited with total surrender to the monarchy. You can not think differently without a punishment, both by pressure and by law.
Memorable movies are made in total freedom or in total suppression as a protest. The case of Thailand is ambivalent at best.
We can not demand much but we know that it has the potential to deliver better films than "The Swimmers", in fact, better.
