after only watching the 1 ep it felt very similar to NC, Kang Gun Woo felt just like Chiaki Shinichi even tough they have different personalities and background they are similar about being conductor on a orchestra full of amateurs and the male lead being an apprentice to a great conductor

Even though the settings are different, I found many similarities between the two dramas:

- A cold, selfish but brilliant man becomes in charge of a group of people
- A sweet, warm-hearted girl falls in love with him
- A kinder second lead pines after the girl
- The dramas concentrate on the lives of the group of people also rather than just the main couple (more so in Beethoven's Virus, I think).
- Main lead makes decisions for the group that others don't approve of, causes drama
- Main lead slowly earns the trust of the members creating a more united team

The only major difference I saw was that there wasn't as much of an emphasis on romance in Beethoven's Virus as there was in Pasta.

- Both dramas related to Orchestra
- ML/FL are insane towards Music as a Conductor and will do anything to go any extent to perfect the music

Beethoven Virus also has a sort of rag-tag group of musicians come together to form an orchestra in order to achieve their dreams. Both dramas focus a lot on the individual characters and the relationships that they build within their group.

Both of these Korean dramas star Kim Myung Min. Having KMM withdrawals after King of Dramas? Try Beethoven Virus. He is an amazing actor. His character in Beethoven Virus also reminds me of his character in King of Dramas a tiny bit as well.

Both are music dramas. Beethoven Virus was my first Korean drama, which display perfect Music Industry, love, friendship and struggles between 3 leads in an orchestra. DYLB also gives me similar vibes.

Both have more or less the musical premise although Beethoven Virus is more superior

both depict the life of two young and talented conductor; the hardships they face, the loneliness of the path they choose and the awesome mentors and friends they meet. Both drama drowns you into the depth of the classical music, the serenity the instruments provide and the beauty of music.
