The drama follows the story of a man, Choi Suk Bong, who believes that he is actually the son of a rich father and heir to a chaebol group. He meets Lee Shin Mi, who is actually a chaebol heir but acts nothing like one, with her scrimping and frugal ways. Although they get off to a rocky start, with her help, he struggles towards his goal of attaining wealth.

Although I had no idea who any of the main actors were in this, the synopsis sounded something like i hadnt seen before so i decided why not give it a try...

Story: The idea really was fresh and had potential. However the episode count really was too much for the execution of the plot. This made continuously watching unbearable. The main plot was the big mystery of who is the main guy's father. This was drawn out till the very end, which made each episode repetitive and also contributed to the unbearbleness. The romance is also put on the back burner. The last episode though is fantastic!

Acting: I wasn't fond of the main leads being together. They had zero chemistry. The female lead's character was really unlikable. I actually preferred the second leads realationship. Thier acting really stands out and they made you root for them. The supporting cast all acted really well.

Music: not memorable.

Rewatch: I dont think so.

Overall this drama could have been done so much better. I recommend you watch maybe the first 10 episodes and skip to the last 2 episodes. Believe me you aren't missing much.

It lacked character development. Also I hated the fact that the whole "Who's your daddy?" was dragged for too long. I only finished watching because I hate starting a drama and leaving the story incomplete. The first ten episodes were fine, but after that it just felt forced.

I found myself watching but not enjoying the story. It just felt dragged for too long with twist that were not surprising to me.

If there is anything that saves this drama for me is Tae Hee and her way of stuffing her face with cake.
