It’s about time traveling to the past to change the unfortunate event too. P.s. they both are very good.

The male leads suffer the loss of a parent, and the heroines wants to become the male lead's 'pillar of strength' to overcome the loss. It's the heroine that makes an effort to take the initiative in both dramas. A story that involves the support of friends, and romance.

Both are similar in a way that female leads tried to help their crush live. Both shows also have the same time travel troupe but different in medium. For example, Blue Birthday works with photos while Orange depends on letters. Blue Birthday is more on the thriller side while Orange is more on the romance, youth side. Both are equally good in executing the show.

In the town of Sakurada, where about half of the residents have special abilities, Asai Kei is a high school student and is able to remember everything. Haruki Misora is also a high school student and she has the power to reset the world by 3 days. If they use both of their powers together, they can go back in time by 3 days and retain their memory. They are watched by the administrative bureau.

In both dramas the leading character gets a second chance to prevent a tragic ending. In Orange it's a completely alternate universe while in Someday Or One Day they time travel.

Both are about a girl sending message to her self in the past. Both are based on famous manga..........................................................................

Both stories have very strong themes of friendship as well as overlapping periods of time. Not only that, but the theme of saving one of the friends is also one of the main themes of both. While Orange more focused on the romantic relationship, Enoshima Prism is more focused on strictly friendship but contains a romantic aspect as well.

These films are similar in such a way that certain characters either have issues with the past or want to change the past to save someone in the future. Orange touches on the parallel universe while Take Me To The Moon included magical time travel elements.

In both movies, the main characters get the chance to travel back in time to change the lives of their important friends. Although the plot lines are very similar, Orange has a stronger friendship theme whereas Somehow 18 is mainly focused on romance
