I disagree with most comments on this season. For me, it was shocking that someone thinks the acting here is poor. I really loved the actors. Not only the new cast is good, but the old cast is better here than in the previous seasons. My favourite performances are Frung's (Oil) e Pea's (Boss). Their story and acting are really good and convincing. Boss introduces an important discussion about politics in Thai society, while Oil made me cry due to her desperate and destructive way of life. But besides them, I loved all stories, even though I hated Non and Pang and had the feeling that the lovely lesbian plot was out of place compared to the other plots.
Differently, from most people, I think the third season marks a come back to the good times of season 1. I loved the 'rebel' first season, but the second one seemed conservative and too concerned to please mommy and daddy. This season was more sensible and realistic when dealing with controversial issues, like AIDS and gay parents.
I liked as well the end of the season, I think they were more skilful to end the story than the second season. It was a wonderful ending for one of the best series I have ever watched. I wanted that other Thai series could be so realistic as this one. Tired of series with poor stories and bad acting like so many things I see around.

(Sorry for my poor English).

HORMONES 3 IS A BOMB !!
Many people say that they don't feel like watching this season due to new actors and they miss the old ones, that indeed might be true
but not watching season is 3 is really missing out on something worth.
I personally loved Hormones from the bottom of my heart and as for season 3, something that cant be compared even to season 1 and 2.'
And people with decisions of not watching, well, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

Really good, but the plot is not as complicated as the previous season

Hormones is one of the Thai series that made me hard to move on after watching them. The relatable story, the characters, the ship dynamics, the conflicts, they're all really good. Even though the time setting is in 2012-2014, it's still relatable for me who watched all seasons in 2020. The final season for me is also very entertaining and satisfying to watch. But, the conflict in this season is not as complicated as the season 2. In season 3, the main conflict is about the student council and the sports day. I don't mind the new characters, for me they're just as interesting as the OG characters from the first season, but of course watching this season made me miss the OG's so much.

The acting is really good too, especially Frung Narikun who portrayed Oil. She really got on my nerves with all her character's behaviour ; hypocrite, attention seeking, backstabbing liar. But, Oil also had some aspects that made me feel sorry for her, like her toxic parents. Good job for the actress. Pea Sarit's character Boss is also very well acted. How he made me agree with his mindset in the early episodes then changed my opinion into disliking him in the middle to final episodes, also good job for the actor.

Other characters are very interesting as well, Non the sweet charming guy, Kanompang the brave cute girl, Jane the badass savage girl, Sun the funny f-boy, Mali the sweet innocent girl, Pala the calm and collected guy, Zomzom the bold fierce girl, and so on. Also, honorable mention for First who successfully made me cry because of his conflict with his parents.

Overall, Hormones 3 is really good.

Don't skip Season 3... Ask for 4-10!:-)

Well, the beginning premise is NOT promising. The super-goodlooking cast is gone. Funny decision to make previous seasons weirdos & losers the new leads might dissuade some from even watching...

But, if you do watch, you'll find the Third season is not bad: it's not bad AT ALL. Might even be best of the three.

The opening credits do not fail to re-vamp the music theme yet again along with the most dramatic-looking scenes (as usual, way more dramatic LOOKING than they then actually are) and each episode ends exactly at the most poignant moment or highest peak: yet again you can say 'Hormones' are best at the beginning and the end.

But given the characters are not the closest ones to you while you start watching, you must admit the amount of creative work done was way higher this time, in compare how strongly you feel for them by the end of the episode.

Each episode ends precisely when it should end: if lacking a tiny bit, or being tiny bit longer, it would not work as much.

In the end (when they show you the empty school) you are sorry there are no seasons 4-10:-) You wouldn't even mind if this show would return each season with completely new cast & characters (like british 'SKiNS'): because this style actually never gets you tired.

The third and last season is almost a whole new thing. The only plot continuing from season 2 is Koi and Dao's story and there's only a few familiar characters on top of that. Basically you don't need to watch the previous seasons to watch this one, which is both a pro and a con. We saw Jane in the preview so I had some kind of expectations of Jane throwing the old characters' relationships upside down. Instead, we got a new cast and new stories... nothing familiar to hold onto. These new things had to make us all fall in love again, and I have to say they did it, but not as well as the previous seasons.

These three seasons have gone through every hardship a person could possibly have within a small amount of people who all are somehow connected. At some point I started to feel that this is way too unrealistic which affected my way of watching this series. It feels funny. Despite that, I appreciate that a drama would view these hardships to show what people may go through and how you can survive. You can relate to some stories, some affect your feelings and you will always want to support the characters. That's a trait that will make you watch it till the end.

Hormones 3 is way better in advertising than the previous ones. The products were nicely portrayed and it wasn't made annoyingly obvious. This was a nice improvement.

The cast didn't have the best acting skills. It makes you feel weird when the actor/actress just can't get it straight. Somehow I still like the cast, even though I miss the old one.

Again, they left quite much open in the end, but the little surprise left a good feeling about the ending. All in all, Hormones 3 didn't meet the high expectations I had after two brilliant seasons, but it was nice addition to the drama series. I will probably rewatch only seasons 1 and 2.

I hesitated to watch it at first, but DAAAAMN! I LOVED IT!

I really loved this. I first hesitated if I was going watch this coz I didn't like Kanompang and Non in season 2. But in this series, I learned to love them (not fully but I did)

1. I hated KoiDao scenes that I had to skip all their parts but I didn't feel like I missed any part of the series. Their parts were ALL OVER THE PLACE. You can enjoy the series without them coz they're like in the same university but felt like they didn't connect to the rest of the story. They could've replaced KoiDao part with Boss which brings to my 2nd point.
2. Boss' character had sooo much potential. He genuinely cared about people around him and he had good intentions, just like Non. But the difference is that Non gets people's attention, people listen to Non and appreciates him while Boss is being ignored and no one sees his effort and intentions 'til it just turned to hatred that ate him. It became toxic that he forgot who he really is. It would've been great if Boss had character development and people finally understand his intentions instead of adding random Koi Dao scenes.
3. This series covered real life and more interesting issues like Drugs, Prostitution (sort of), domestic violence, LGBTQ+ family and HIV awareness

....might add some more later.

the plot is not as complicated as the previous season

i don't know why there's something missing in this final season. maybe it's because of the old characters that were so memorable to me, or the plot focusing more on the organization. the plot is not as complicated as the previous season. the previous seasons where there were a lot of unresolved love stories, this one has even more, and it's kinda sad. the cast who were in the previous seasons, i think some of them really explored their roles well this time. personally, i really like Pala's character, for some reason he's funny haha. and Nanon, with so little screen time, but I've been idolizing her ever since (i first watched this in 2018 and just finished rewatching).

the alumni reunion at Pop's house made me miss them all over again :(

HORMONES

As an adult, I believe that some issue was brought up is good unless you interpret it in a different way. Some audience may feel it not suitable to discuss openly such as LGBT etc. For me as a married woman, I try to justify it in a such way that I can understand why this kind of story was brought up by the writer/producers. I have not finished for the final series but I do not underestimate the actors ability to take their role seriously. It is not easy to portray the role and end up getting bash by audiences. Every season discussed different issues and some of it remind me of my younger years. I am a fan Oab/Jack even though he was on supporting role. The main role are exciting to watch and I am rooting some the younger actors who I think great actors. Overall, I had smiled/cried/laughed watching the series, because I am enjoying it. The OST is great and I have been listening to it continuously. See Scape is great too. Thank you so much to the series which introduced me to more great Thai actors and songs.

This isn't bad like what everyone thinks! Continuing from such an amazing series, season 3 was pressured and not many gave it a chance because of the change in cast. I understand it's hard to watch hormones without the original cast because they really carried the series plus it's just empty without them but season 3 doesn't deserve the dislikes it got. Original cast graduated and it's time for new kids to tell their stories. Even though season 3 isn't much related to the first two, season 3 did not disappoint. I might even like it more than the first two. (You really don't need to watch the first two seasons to understand this season). I admit at first I was iffy about watching the new cast cause I was so attached to the original but I came to love the new cast so much too. In my opinion, the original cast seemed more mature and older than the new cast, which is something I liked about the third season. They casted real high school teenagers to come play in this season which makes it so much more realistic. If this season wasn't named Hormones 3 I believe it would have received more love. A lot of people just didn't give this season a chance because of cast change.
The stories itself were good too. I do feel like they messed up Kanompang's character though. In the end of season 2 we see that she's changed after getting hurt by Tar and she was pretty awful but all of a sudden in the new season she's seen as the good perfect angel which is the opposite of what was shown in the end of season 2. Another character that left a big impression on me was Boss. He's a controlling selfish person with great ideals. The whole student council team was made possible because of him and I absolutely loved his proposals. I really liked Boss in the beginning because of his perspective, you don't need to be popular to take lead. He gathered the school's most capable students and started the group with great leadership. However, he's a closed minded person. He doesn't accept the opinion of others and thinks his is the best. This quality of his makes it impossible for him to be in a team let along the president. I hated the other student council people though, instead of discussing their issues with the president and work together to fix the problems they go behind his back and kick him out as president. This doesn't make them any better than Boss. PLUS when they used Non as the face of the group to gain votes for his popularity, this just goes against the student council's main purpose.
Overall, season 3 is honestly good so please don't judge it before watching it.

There was a point where i thought this season could out do the rest but after finishing this it really does take 3rd place. There are some great moments in this season, great storylines, and a little more depth brought to the characters in this season than the other two. The problem is that barely any of them could act well. They were all either average or okay, but during really emotional scenes i felt really uncomfortable watching them act those out and that took away from some of the intense moments in the show. there was also almost no chemistry w/ some of the characters in this series and this is a big change from how well the 1st gen all meshed together. you really just dont feel any attachment to most of these characters at all. i still think this was a good season though, even just for the plot twists that occurred. This was really the only season that was truly unpredictable, and this is still very much worth the watch, especially if youre a fan of the series. and i promise it is way better than i am making it sound to be, cause i really did enjoy watching every episode.

another thing that bothered me was how pang was all of a sudden a good person in this season when in season 2 she was a little crazy but all of a sudden we get this character that is looked at as a saint when she was nothing near that in season 2. in season two it was made apparent how she wasn't a good friend but this fact no longer exists in s3 or is even touched upon so the writers of this season kinda annoyed me w/ this.

This series is legendary for me though, although when i think about it its just your typical teenage-high school drama, but there is just something about it that makes it stand out from any high school drama i have ever watched. Maybe one of the reasons is the legendary 1st gen cast that brought us, not only a group of very good looking people, but a lot of good actors too. The issues the drama brought forth is also a change for the typical thai-drama which was a big deal in Thailand and I just feel that it all ended very tamely. the last episode didn't feel like a last episode, i don't know maybe i'm saying this cause i don't want this series to end, but a little part of me wishes it ended after the 2nd season because the beauty of this show was really in the 1st cast and it just proves how important a great cast, and the chemistry they have together, matters.
