Different Princess reminded me of another fantasy drama My Amazing Boyfriend, although the theme and setting are not identical, the characters are cute. Both dramas are very enjoyable, not too serious, full of magic, adventure & romance.

Mutant Xue Ling Qiao, who has been asleep for centuries, is awakened by the unlucky actress Tian Jing Zhi in a car accident. He then forces his way into living at her house despite his mysterious past. On the surface, she acts like she’s not bothered by his super powers, but actually, she tries her best to get rid of this “monster.” Unexpectedly, their torment of each other gradually warms their relationship. This not only illuminates their romantic feelings but also reveals a shocking conspiracy that spans centuries. The series is an adaptation of a popular Chinese novel by Shui Qianmo.

- They both have that 'comic' vibe to it
- Smart Male Lead
- Not your stereotypical and naive Female Lead
- Both stories are really fluff\y, but My Amazing Boyfriend is a bit deeper at the end.

I think they have a similar genre, the main characters are not the same. One is human and the other one isn't.

Both dramas have a plucky human FL and supernatural ML who has special powers and a monstrous side/appearance who met the FL when she saved him. Both FLs have affectionately insulting nicknames for the ML ("monster" vs. "big weirdo").

Both are lighter fantasy dramas featuring a human FL in the entertainment industry and a supernatural ML with powers.

It is a little different as in my amazing boyfrirnd the male lead is immortal and in love for a thousand more the female lead is immortal
Both have a same feeling that will they end up together?
In my amazing boyfriend the male lead has a past same in love for a thousand more
I love both dramas

Has a similar story base: a male lead who has super natural powers, a female lead who isn't really super successful, and the interactions they have as they are roommates.

-Both the male leads are immortal.
The male lead in the drama is a gumiho who is about a thousand years older than the female lead, the female lead is smart and intelligent and tries to find out about male lead's real identity. The drama is fun to watch .There are various twist and turns and also new devilish characters keeps on appearing throughout the drama. So basically the drama is filled with suspense, romance and supernatural/mythical beings.

Both MLs are vampires or vampire like creatures who become involved with and protect the FL. Toward the end of both dramas, the ML is killed by his enemies and revived by the FL giving him her blood.

Both are fantasy dramas Both have adorable, somewhat mischievous leading ladies.
Both have an element of the couples uncertain future, since they "from two different worlds." One is literally a different world and the other is figuratively, but that fact threatens the happily ever after of both couples.

In both dramas, one of the leads has "miracle" curing blood and a scientist is trying to use their blood for his own interests.

Both of these dramas follow a romance between a human and supernatural being. They handle a mix of comedy and seriousness while portraying a story with deeper meaning than just romance. They are also both based off of novels, as most chinese dramas are.

Both dramas have a similar title and vibe. Both MLs were ill and received treatment which left them with non-human abilities or characteristics. Both FLs are quirky and something of a disaster at their jobs, and accidentally learn the ML's secret, which leads from an initial distrust/hostility between the two to a close relationship.

if you love Chinese quirky humour with outrageous themes and witty conversations, you'll love both of these dramas! Although set in different eras (obviously!), they belong in the same unique genre that features slapstick, at-your-face type acting. The females leads in both drama have similar characters - funny, cute, witty, jovial and a bit of a smarty-pants who can sometimes be on the point or sometimes so off the point, it's just plain funny! The male leads in both dramas have similar characters too - smart, cold, calculative and perhaps the only ones who tolerates the female leads' attics without cracking their perfect expressionless features. The men are the antithesis to the women - which worked well to the humour parts of both dramas. Despite the mostly light-hearted theme, there is a good story to be told in both dramas and both romances ended with an open ending (up to you to decide if it's happy or not). While Go Princess Go has three different endings, My Amazing Boyfriend announced a Season 2.
