Five years after leaving Kochi for Tokyo to pursue his dream of becoming a cameraman, Shinpei returns home when his mother is hospitalized. There, he reconnects with Nogami Sakura, the younger sister of his high school ex-girlfriend, who is terminally ill. Sakura reminds Shinpei of his promise to dance with her at the Yosakoi festival, her last wish before the disease claims her. Inspired, Shinpei rallies his old dance team to perform. However, his dream is tested when a prestigious cameraman award ceremony conflicts with the festival, forcing him to choose between his career aspirations and fulfilling Sakura’s wish.
