Misaki finally confesses to Kanata, telling him she loves him, but she's shocked when he coldly replies that he no longer feels the same. Distracted at work, Misaki can't stop thinking about him, even as Touma mistakenly congratulates her. While Kanata's success draws media attention and interview requests, Chiaki announces that a top food critic is coming to SeaSons. That night, Misaki asks Kanata why he rejected her, but he brushes it off, saying he simply changed his mind. Hurt and confused, Misaki is later visited by Chiaki, who asks her to make dessert for Kanata's interview.
