While out shopping, Misaki sees Chiaki entering a wedding venue with Kaede and is devastated. Still in shock, she returns to SeaSons and is scolded by Kanata for being absent-minded. Things worsen when Chiaki asks her to make the wedding cake for his and Kaede's upcoming party, which she reluctantly agrees to. Due to a last-minute venue issue, Chiaki also asks Kanata to handle the food, and he agrees after being bribed with a surfboard.
