A young man who betrayed his best friend, Arata, who was secretly in love with his fiancé, Yuri. However, on the day he confessed all of himself, Arata was fallen ill and suddenly left the world unless he endured suffering. After that, Kyo, who is responsible for the death of Arata and loses something, even his own life, keeps admiration for his surfboard, his alter ego, to flow to the beach with the island of Hawaii. I left for a trip. However, as expected, the beach is hard to find. Meanwhile, he gets to know the coffee plantation, led by a beautiful girl Lana who is said to be the incarnation of the god of fire · Pele and finally comes to that beach. And, when he experienced surfing there, he was healed by a mysterious power and regenerated. He arrived home with a surfboard = Arata's soul ceased to be buried.

Actually, he is more interested in girls than the job. They used to ignore him, but by working at the cafe, he hopes to start a friendship with them.

Upon getting thrown out of his girlfriend Fujiko's apartment, Hiromi decides to head for the ocean. En route, he crosses paths with Kaito, an elite employee of a large multinational trading company in Tokyo who is running away from his problems at work after losing a key client. The two stumble into a quiet B&B on the beach run by the aging surfer Masaru and his high-school-aged granddaughter Makoto. Hiromi immediately applies to work there for the summer, and Kaito is forced to join him after he loses his wallet. The two share a room, with Hiromi trying to make friends, and Kaito at first resisting, unimpressed by Hiromi's devil-may-care attitude. Slowly over the ensuing episodes, Kaito becomes more and more at home in this sleepy rural town, and begins to wonder if he should give up his pursuit of success in the big city, and try to relax, and enjoy himself more. When he returns to Tokyo to finish his work, Hiromi and Makoto come to lure him back, but when he returns to the B&B, his boss and girlfriend Sakura likewise come looking for him.

Both stories are a bizarre with extreme characters. They also deal with difficult subjects and feature complicated love triangles.

Three couples pair off after arriving in Manila, Philippines.

The first couple are a middle-aged husband and wife tandem that are taking their first ever trip overseas. The husband has never taken his wife anywhere before, but he has reasons for taking her on their first trip. The husband has a brain tumor and he plans to end his life in the Philippines for insurance money.

Convenience store clerk Jung Hwan is offered a free ticket to the Philippines by a friend. Although Jung hwan is broke he is more than happy to go, especially to forget his ex-girlfriend who dumped him because of his inability to find a better paying job. At the Manila airport, Jung Hwan is stunned when famous Korean pop singer Yu Ga Young approaches him to use his cellphone.

Soo Jin used her entire savings to come to the Philippines. Her home life is a mess and she is in part running away from her family. At her hotel in Manila, she encounters a fellow Korean named Jae Hyuk. Jae Hyuk is a successful businessman that came to the Philippines for family matters.

Aoyama Haru and Kagaya Kaede have been friends since they were 4 years old, when they began living next door to each other. They are now 24-years-old and still live in the same apartments. Meanwhile, Iori has liked Kaede since he was an elementary school student. He approaches her. Seeing this, Haru becomes disturbed. If i remember correctly, they both deal with already having a girlfriend and the struggle of an “unrequited” love. They also have that “indie” vibe to them and really good acting. As i was watching Stay still i was reminded of this movie.
