Omnibus title consisting of eight stories under the common theme of one-sided love: > Story 1: "One-sided Love Spiral" (片想いスパイラル) [Director: Hara Keinosuke] So Yeon, a Korean studying in Japan, struggles with gender identity. She has developed feelings for her roommate Yuki but notices Yuki is attracted to her friend Hajime. Concealing her tears, So Yeon tries to bring the two together. > Story 2: "My Sweet Cactus" (僕のサボテン) [Director: Nagata Koto] Every day, a scatterbrained new employee, Toru, is scolded by his strict boss, Saki. Preferring well-mannered females, Toru is fed up with Saki's harsh personality. However, Toru experiences a sweeter side to Saki by unexpected chance and comes to see her in a more affectionate light. > Story 3: "My Nickname Is Butatchi" [Director: Izuka Ken] High school students Nomura and Satake have long been bosom companions. As a child, Nomura was always dotted with scabs, so Satake dubbed her "Butatchi". Unbeknownst to Satake, however, Nomura has been harboring feelings for him. > Story 4: "Something Blue" (サムシングブルー) [Director: Takuma Takayuki] Nozomi used to have her hair done by her mother. Now a high schooler, she goes to a hair salon for the first time. Though apprehensive in such an unfamiliar atmosphere, thanks to the thoughtfulness of Shinichi, the hairdresser responsible for her, Nozomi is not only able to relax but develops feelings for the skilled stylist. Unfortunately, Shinichi is committed to another. > Story 5: "My Secret Love" (嘘つきの恋) [Director: Fuji Michihito] Mana is a pragmatic woman who feigns having a beau to those around her but hooks up briefly with many men. Meanwhile, trustworthy Makoto gives Asana love advice as a friend. Gradually, Mana begins to have feelings for Makoto but is anxious about being honest. > Story 6: "Summer Pickles" (あさはんのゆげ) [Director: Yamagishi Santa] Due to her mother's work, Fuka has to spend the summer in a countryside house. Moreover, she gets stuck living together with her cousin, Kaname, who shows up with art supplies and pickling paste. Irritated by him at first, eventually starts looking forward to his homemade breakfasts. > Story 7: "Gift of Christmas Eve" (イブの贈り物) [Director: Ito Hidehiro] Trainee Minoru joins the facility where Misato, a nurse, is employed. Minoru's compassionate nature makes him very popular, even with Shizu, a reputedly hard-to-please elderly woman who seems to open up only to him. Misato, harboring somewhat jealous feelings toward their connection, realizes she has started to become attracted to Minoru. > Story 8: "Radio Personality" (ラジオパーソナリティー) [Director: Ito Hidehiro] Toru, the vocalist of a once popular group, is now just a "has-been".
