I've been on a binge for really good crime shows and had found this one. I realy enjoyed the storyline and the acting and the cast. I felt that each of the characters complimented each other really well. And the plots for each of the cases was very well done and not at all predictable. However, I felt that the ending was very rushed and felt that it hadn't fully finished or had a second season coming. I also would have liked to know a little bit more about each of the main characters that made up the team of detectives. I felt that there were a few flashbacks but things weren't really explained and with an ending like they had I felt that it made things a little too confusing for me. I would be watching it again to see if I had missed some important points through the series.

That's it?!!

This really had the potential as a reviewer stated but they really dropped the ball. With the title and the synopsis I really went in with high expectations. I was expecting it to be something along the lines as Day and Night and since I was so impressed with that I thought this would be good as well- is was not. There was a different case every 4 episodes and that's fine but there was no real connection to them and the 10 deadly sins as I thought they would be.
Hua Long has some issues from his past that we see in flashbacks but it never gets resolved.
Su Mei also has some issues as well but they never come up.
There is this weird forced romance between Su Mei and Hua Long that really makes no sense.
Bao Zhan is the annoying know-it-all.
Everyone else is kinda just "there" and they get no shine.

I'm not sure if this counts as a spoiler but the show ends on a cliffhanger...
And it's because of that, I would not recommend this.

Overall the plot felt like it could´ve been so much more than it actually was. The cases were interesting but missed that thing to make you hooked and only the last one got the main characters that involved that it got you sitting on the edge of your seat. However, most didn´t get the chance to showcase the full potential of the group nor their development. If they did, it mostly so little you almost didn´t notice it. I like shows that focus on their crime work but I missed too much of their personal development and life to actually get attached to the characters. The flashbacks cave us insights too but not enough or they made little sense. Another wish of mine is to actually see more of the female lead but well, that just didn't happen.
I was pretty happy with the cast and acting but the voice of their professor absolutely annoyed me at first. His voice thankfully got better and I got to like his character more. The acting was good but some (possible) romantic scenes were done in such a way that I didn't know if they were suggesting something or not.
Music was okay but at some scenes a bit overdone in my opinion, but they usually helped with building the atmosphere in the right way.
The rewatch value isn't that much for me but I might do it in the future so I can catch more hints and actually get more of the story.

I really had high expectations when I read the description. At the first episode, I somehow knew that Hua Long and Su Mei would have some kind of romance. I felt the romantic atmosphere during the elevator incident and it made me excited that it just won't leave my mind. Although there were less romance, their scenes together makes me excited. At the middle part, I think that Hua Long was on the jealousy phase and I expected them to get together soon. I think that the ending was rushed and I didn't understand the ending at all. I am so confused. I am somewhat disappointed because I was really expecting the romance.
