I was not sure what to expect from this drama, but overall I liked the story itself.

I confess that at first I found it a little slow, mainly because it seemed that there was going to be a lot more mystery at the beginning, but that parte was resolved quickly. I was totally captivated from Episode 5, was more about the love and we began to question more the purpose of the past, present and future, and what small decisions can affects all your life.

On the acting ... the actors were all news to me * less the chen ting xuan but I do not even remember where I saw her * I really enjoyed Derek his acting in every part of the drama was very good, such as chan Lyan, I think she was perfect for the character.

I do not know if I would see this again, but I do not think so.
In short it was a good drama to watch.

Not your average fantasy drama

Let me spill some beans, this isn't the time travel fantasy kind of drama you expect it to be. The summary does no justice to this thriller. I started watching it expecting to be some love story where ML comes back in time to save his girl or their relationship. I kept waiting for that to happen but they made it clear in the first episode itself that this is going to be some sugar free romance but the mystery and thrilling side was what kept me intrigued.

Let's talk about acting. You won't essentially fall in love with characters , they are not meant to be. But you will surely fall for their acting. I have watched a drama of Derek Chang earlier and believe me, this wasn't the sweet and loving Derek I knew, this man had a whole new persona that was so eccentric. Lyan Su too did pretty well. Her expressions while thinking about ML are so natural.

Story? Let me repeat, it is really much better than what you are expecting. After watching 2 episodes, I actually came back to check the tags and genres again to make sure that there's some romance in it. There's no ML & FL ending up living together or an other typical drama cliches but a much more natural and mature kind of romance.
Mystery dramas usually unfold step by step but this one only kept getting more mysterious, which they well-maintained until the very last episode.
Sadness is the basis of the story so keep some tissues handy. Because, well, life is not all strawberry cakes and with every superpower comes some problems.

Keeping it short, the direction was just as good as story.

Cinematography (overall look/ aesthetics) might not seem very good to the eyes as it was very dark but it was what gave the drama's theme a boost.

I originally wanted to give this one a 9 or 9.5 but let's gulp down the fact that it has very less re watch value because the mystery is revealed. It pained my heart when average rating was reduced because of it. That's the shortcoming of these mystery dramas.

Will I watch this again? Probably no.

Will I recommend this? DEFINITELY YES!!

Not for me

Concept of the story was good but it was not written properly as well as direction of the story . In their first meeting he followed her as he saw her future and saved her from accident ,she said thanks to him and asked why was he following her but he didn't reply her . If something happened to anybody they would see him Strange and try to avoid him but in second scenerio he came to her house and asked her to come in and she entered him into her house but she should not allowed him because he was totally a stranger and he who was sometime before following her . So this type of direction I didn't understand . Then at the very end of the drama he sacrificed his life but he who was in the year of 2011 was saved . One life from another one concept though fulfilled but according to the story the main lead become two ,that can't be possible . He the one who went to the past ,if he died then how he would be in the future .
Only acting was good . But the story had no much impact .

Not worth watching

As the title says, the male lead travel to the past. The people from 2012 look exactly like themself in 2017.
In the drama, if you save someone from death, someone else has to die, but on the last travel of the xiao yu, it’s the future him who sacrifices himself to save his 2011 version of him… I can’t explain it well but the story just doesn’t make sense and is contradictory.
The story is very confuse and at the end there’s another short story on time travel, but there’s no explanation on how the guy got his time machine.
