DARK N DEEP PLOT
Why is there not a single review in this beautiful movie? AnywaysI just watched this for matsuyama but this movie has what japanese are good at while making anything : DEPTH N DARKNESS.
A little violence not much to scare u off so dnt mind it .its a serious crime story with a complicated romance .
I have seen males playing these kind of roles n it suits them but it really makes me excited when this role is played by a female n she is a brilliant actor she played this role very well from beginning to when she changed n after that.
I loved the backstory n how they are made, i was never so excited for flashbacks n backstories before.
Characters,chemistry , music, atmosphere, acting all are 10/10 for me. Its a must watch.

I descided to watch this movie because i was bored so i didn't even read the summary i just dived in right away. Honestly at first i expected this movie to be very weird and cringe romance movie like most Japanese movies that i've watched but i was very wrong. This movie was so well made it was dark and twisted but at the same time very interesting with amazing plot. I must say the acting was on point and the movie was very very well made. This movie was so engaging that every minute i was so excited to see what will happen next. To sum up, i was not dissapointed at all, this movie was amazing and i would definetly recomment it to everyone who likes psychological and dark films. 10/10 :DDWas this review helpful to you?
A D(isappointing) A(bsurd) R(idiculous) K(lutzy) film
I was planning to watch this movie for a while, mostly because I heard many people saying that it is very dark and twisted - and I like my movies as dark as my soul-, but besides being dark and twisted it was also a disappointment.In terms of directing and cinematography, the movie has nothing to offer, besides some nice shots (that were no more than four). The lighting is very bad and the general atmosphere of the movie is pretty bland, not managing to achieve the dark atmosphere that it should have.
The production quality seems to be relatively low. Even though it does have some scenes that could look better, it generally didn't bother me.
Acting is good enough, but there is also your typical -bad- overacting here and there, mostly by Matsuzaka Tori.
And now, the plot...
It is so badly written, I wanted to cry at some point. Even though it did have a decent beginning, everything went downhill after that. There are way too many stuff that are making no sense and are over the top for the sake of being over the top. Even the disturbing scenes were not that disturbing, mainly because the characters were so bland that you would feel nothing about them, even if they died. Lastly, the movie had some tropes that reminded me more of a korean makjang than a mystery/psychological film.
All in all, the movie has a good concept that no one really cared to develop in a logical way -I am calling that lazy writing- and as a result it ends up being nonsensical with some badly written characters and some scenes that are there just for the shake of shock.

Everytime I think that I've seen it all , Japanese movies are like " hold my beer"lol.
Rating this 10 Stars solely for our 3 outstanding actors in the main cast. I've seen them in other dramas and wow they outdid themselves here. That doll scene that they keep repeating was 1 of the most disturbing scenes I've ever watched ; just ughh was it really necessary to keep repeating it throughout the drama? So creepy and disturbing. And the sex scene? Speechless...I thought I've seen it all....yes I understand WHY is was presented that way but what comes up in these scriptwriters minds to come up with something like that ? Lol.Honestly , I almost dropped it at 1 point because it's really slow in the beginning but I'm glad that I stuck through it because it became even more interesting in the 2nd half. What a talented cast. What a story.
Sometimes I love to watch things that are different and new and quite out there and this definitely fits the bill. Give it a try.
