Attacked by vampire, Spring, a born loser is saved by three street cleaners. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a government secret facilities hidden in a garbage collection station. Spring then discovers that he has a special immunity to vampire attack, making him a perfect candidate as agent of the secret organisation, the Vampire Cleanup Department.
With a super sympathetic cast we see a dashing vampire movie like the modern vampire hunters who pose as street cleaners who actually behind the trash hides a clandestine Subsection organization of the Department of Food and Environmental Hygiene of the Hong Kong government .
But what is most striking is the surprise factor that emerged from this undead parody medium is, surprisingly, a sweet and romantic love story between Tim (Babyjohn Choi Hon-yick) and a virgin immune to the vampire toxin. The couple is simply fantastic.
With a nod to the clever romance the movie manages to adjust to this potentially scary affair of necrophilia throughout its making it fun. While its story is predictable, the Vampire Dusting Department is spirited and rich in original comedy. It is a delight to watch, in addition to laughing the romance is cute, a genuinely nice movie!
