Both FML are able to see ghosts, while the ML is the one responsible of catching the ghosts.
In Devils Punisher the ML is the Ghost kings, while in Black the ML is a Grim Reaper.

Both have the concept of the grim reaper

Both of the kdrama’s characters have the ability to forsee death but in different concepts, In black she is able to see a black cloud by someone and can see how they die, in aftermath he can see who dies if they have red eyes and can see who’s a murderer if they have blue eyes. They both use their abilities to stop crime and murders, they are both also fantasy and romance genres

In both shows:
> One of the leads is able to see ghosts while the other lead is a supernatural being.
> Deal with ghosts.
> One of the leads discover things about their past.
> There's a childhood connection between the leads.
> Art direction is top-notch in both shows.
> Both shows have similar endings, albeit Hotel del Luna's is better put together.

Some differences to highlight:
> Whereas Hotel Del Luna has a more episodic feel to it (helping a different ghost each episode), Black weaves all of the episodes together in a big and intricate web. Which means that every episode is about "one same story".
> Black is darker than Hotel del Luna as the drama ventures into the second half.

A being that walks both worlds, falls for somebody who isn’t supposed to be able to see him.
A girl with unique ‘sight’ and a unique calling, that needs the help of someone who can navigate this world, and the next, in order to survive her ‘millennium calamity’.

They are both supernatural stories about the female lead having a special power, in Black it is the ability to know when someone is about to die while in SWDBS it is super-strength. Both have a cold detective trying to solve mysteries surrounding them. Both dramas also have a rich playboy pursuing the leading lady. They both have a different feel to it but both ML’s are grim reapers that go into a humans body for two different reasons. Black is a Romance Mystery/Thriller where a Grim Reaper who possesses the body of the ML to find his rookie partner and the FL can see shadows of death and she tries to prevent deaths along with the ML.

Not a fantasy but why not when its really really great. The badass male leads are also awesome. .................................
