What can I say. Ai Wa Mieru is one of the best drama specials i have ever watched. aya's role in it shined. honestly I never expected she would do so well as a blind woman. The story as it unfolded was simply heart touching. I got mad and sad and happy, it gave me a lot of mixed feelings and I cried a lot watching this. If you are looking for a drama that will make you think deeply about life then this is probably your cup of tea. Not watching this strong drama means that you are missing out. I have nothing negative to say about it.
The acting was top and the inspiring value of this drama gets a 10/10 by me. The music in it and juri's voice definitely captivated me.

Story: It’s a really heartwarming story. Juri is extremely stubborn with a very hard shell while Kouta is sweet and caring. Together the two of them make one hell of a couple. They perform at a small club with friends on some nights and go out to eat like normal people. While Juri refuses help from other people Kouta welcomes it and helps others as well. I love how different their personalities are and yet they are drawn to each other because they are both blind with a love for music.

They’re constantly struggling though. And it’s always something different: money, approval for marriage, neighbors gossiping, whether or not they should start a family and more. There is never a dull moment.

It really is something different and it kind of teaches you in a way. Love is not just physical. Marriage is not just a ring on the finger. Family means looking out for one another. Success is not easy, it is pain and hard work. It isn’t a typical love story, which makes this all the more better.

Music: Very subtle, you focus more on the story than the actual background music

Cast/Acting: The first show I saw Ueto Aya star in was Azumi, where she played a cold female assassin. Then I watched her in Attention Please where she played a very outgoing and bright flight attendant trainee. I was so amazed with her acting, its as if she has multiple personalities, the way she’s able to pull them off so well.

Koide Keisuke was good as well. They had good chemistry and acted like a real couple. Together, despite being able to see, they were able to pull off acting blind very well, looking straight ahead, not looking at people and walking with a cane.

Rewatch Value: 8

The only reason that I didn't give it a full 10 across is because that I didn't think that they had enough details in it, I wanted to know more. All in all though, it was a fantastic movie.
