A movie depicting Heungseon Daewongun years later after he has put his son on the throne.
The story follows his son's wife "Empress Min" (a boss bitch queen?) and how Daewongun tries to get rid of her with the help of Japanese when she starts getting in his way.
It shows what happens to his son and his generation line in the following years as he sees them becoming puppets under Japanese rule.
P.S many historians say that it was Daewongun's fault that Korea went under Japan....

Although the storyline and everything is very different
Both depict the character of a historic political figure named Kim Jwa-Geun
FengShui is set in the last days of King Cheoljong while Mr. Queen was the early years
depiction of Kim Jwa-geun is different in both, as Mr. Queen tried to keep the light-hearted comedic touch in it
Both movies show a different ending to what happened to Kim Jwa-geun and King Cheoljong (idk which one is real but i'm pretty sure fengshui is closer to reality)
