Warm and comforting
This was a really comforting movie despite its original premise being so sad; the entire vibe of the family spending time together just cooking or cleaning while it rains outside makes you feel really warm.In terms of plot and story, I honestly don't think it offers up anything new, but it still successfully makes use of one of my favorite tropes — one person has been pining for a long time just for you to find out the other person has been pining for even longer — so this isn't even even a complaint.
I do wish this was longer. I'm not sure how or where it would go, but I felt like I didn't get enough scenes with the leads and their son for me to see them as parents, as opposed to just being a couple (since we got a lot of their love story, which I loved). The theme seemed to bounce between romance and family without being able to make it cohesive.
Overall, I'd say the story goes pretty much as expected, but it's still a really comforting watch.

Amazing one+ get some tissues to wipe some tears
This movie is a Korean remake of Japanese drama film which is soo heartfelt...This charming tale of a mother who comes back to life a year after her death, with no memory and settles back in with her family, is enhanced by the performances of the big name cast and the newcomers. THE ACTING WAS TOP TIER!!
VERDICT _ I totally loved this movie, your heart will be melted after seeing a affectionate story of father, mother and a child, the friend character is also awesome. AND got some hilarious scenes too...
P.S Cameo of PARK SEO JOON was damn cool !!!

This one freaking hurts!
I didn’t know much about this movie (nor did I want to know) before starting, so I was very very confused initially and really didn’t think I was going to like it. I ended up crying so hard that it gave me an absolute monster of a headache later in the day. This movie is absolutely incredible, and I think it should be watched without much context in order to make the twists and turns more surprising and make the movie an overall more enjoyable ride. I 100% absolutely recommend this, and I can never say this enough. I genuinely don’t have any words to describe how much of a mess this movie left me in (in a wonderful but very sad way ahah)Was this review helpful to you?
A tale of woman who chose quality over ....
This is a movie which I put on hold for a long time and then in a moment of weakness I went for it ! I can say this is a movie which leaves you with a sense of satisfaction , warmth , a bittersweet after-taste and most importantly a great lesson for priorities in life and the experience to make tough choices. What I LIKED-
Acting of child actor from start to finish esp the scene where he delivers an awesome speech short , precise and meaningful !
All the scenes of the family were outstanding, the side character esp the Uncle was very comic and fulfilling.
What I didn't LIKED-
May be the slow start can put some people off but I think its subjective.
What i really missed was the lead chemistry, it was there but sth was missing , I personally think the director was more concerned with the focus of the story on the family as a whole rather than the leads.
The comeback story was clearly explained at the start but the other part of the story
(spoiler)
her ..seeing the situation was not clearly explained as to why it happened to her.
All an all in a right mood this definitely can take you to places!!

Sweet sorrow with a twist
This was a beutifull portrayal of love, longing and trying to move on after loosing a loved one,It was abit slow but it hit very close to home so to be honest I found myself looking away and distracting myself more than once. It has allot of sweet, sweet fluff and a very interesting twits att the end of it.
The acting is good the sidecharacters are okey, there are two people who may bring out ones inner anger but it was only one or two scenes so it did not effect the score much. The ending was just beutifull and not only becouse Park Seo Joon played the kid att age 20. But it was just beutifully made,
If you are looking for something cheerfull you shoul look for something else but if you are looing for something beutifull this is deffenetly worth it.

The cast is perfect as well as the music suits the best.
Generally movies remain in our heart which have happy ending or bad ending , but in this case even though it didn't had happy ending but the ending is everything . The plot will seem simple until you reach the ending. It is really well scripted and we'll directed.
-- Overall this movie is very soft and heartwarming which is worthy to watch. ????

Great movie ❤
This is a great movie. Casts did an amazing job. I highly recommend this movie. Initially, I watched this because of Son Ye-Jin, she is a very versatile actress. I have seen her in Crash Landing on You , The Last Princess, etc. I am glad I decided to watch this, the story is just beautiful. Then after watching So Ji-Sub, I consider a great actor, great chemistry. The casts in this movie are great, they made it so enjoyable and at the same time, cry ( a lot).
Kudos to Kim Ji-Hwan, good actor too. This kid made me cry. Worth watching. Loved it!

Perfect movie in one word.
It's the first romantic Korean movie for me to watch I guess! And probably the best romantic movie I've ever watched till now...I thought the romantic Korean movies will be cringe, but I liked the actress since her role in "The negotiation" and I liked the actor I don't remember from which work... All of my doubts went wrong, and the movie was actually great and I could simple give it a 10/10
The movie's scenario is quite unfamiliar, and extraordinary, and the ending had a huge plot twist that I couldn't think of at all, I kept watching this movie for about 3 days... not because it was boring, but because I was excited into watching it that I treated it as a series... I wish it had a series somehow
The movie has also remembered me of a person I used to like and care about, because she looks like the actress a lot either in face or in her character that I can't even tell whether I got these sentiments and went sobbing because of the movie itself or because of this similarity and resemblance! But maybe both?!
The soundtracks are so soothing too just like the events and the scenario itself, and the acting is quite professional and flawless... This movie is quite re-watchable also , I think I will watch it someday, but I've to deal with my past memories first about the girl I like/d :D
Anyway, watch it guys, I totally recommend it for you, and if anyone reads this review - if you've any recommendations, please feel free to add and text me of those recommendations in the same genres as this masterpiece or anything else that comes up to your mind... I like the Korean fans' community the most.
Ah, and you might cry during watching it :D it made me cry in many moments, which is unlike me; it's very touchy...
Thanks

It was a total tearjerker for me..
I haven't watched the Japanese version yet, but I love the Korean version. It was a total tearjerker for me. As it is a Korean production there were also some funny scenes. This movie showed the concept of true love. It was cool that we got an explanation of why the late Soo Ah reappeared for a while in Woo Jin and Ji Ho's lives. If it had not been explained, it might seem that something was missing from the film.
The thing that she only showed up during the rainy season was interesting. And the scene where Ji Ho, during the school play, mentioned all the things his mom had taught him to help his dad, was perfect.

Mommy penguin came back from cloudland? ☁️?✨
This movie left me emotionally overwhelmed! I watched it with my mom, and as the credits rolled, we hugged each other tightly, both in tears. It's a truly beautiful story. The cast was phenomenal! They delivered outstanding performances. The friendship between Woo-jin and his friend (I apologize, I forgot his name) was incredibly touching. In my opinion, he played a significant role. He's such a adorable character!
The child actor had me bawling my eyes out! His acting was absolutely superb. I loved the plot twist; it completely surprised me and was mind-blowing. It was both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
This is a must-watch movie! I highly recommend it. My mom also loved it and feels incredibly grateful to have experienced such a beautiful and amazing film. I couldn't agree more. Some art is so powerful; it can make life feel so much more meaningful.

I would’ve cried rivers watching this movie if I was alone, however my cousins and grandpa was there to watch this movie too. I was quite shocked to see my family getting this much interest in Korean films, but I was proud of it. I knew from the very start that this movie wouldn’t end happy. Especially after watching Hi Bye Mama, I’m really sure of how this movie is going to end. Surprisingly, I’m still interested in watching this movie. I loved the ending. The movie showed how Jung Woo Jin was pretty much a loser at first, and his son was just unable to do things on his own. My take upon this movie was that Im Soo Ah came back down to them to say goodbye properly this time, and to teach them how to do things on their own, especially when it’s time for her to go back to the Clouds. The last few minutes of the movie showed everything in Soo Ah’s point of view, while the whole first half of the movie showed the couple’s love story from Woo Jin’s point of view. And when Woo Jin was once a loser, the ending showed how he was now able to overcome goodbyes.
The romance isn’t cheesy at all, it was touching and beautiful. The music reminds me of ‘A Whole New World’ and I enjoyed it!
I love Gong Hyo Jin and Park Seo Joon cameo appearance! Overall, a 9.5/10! Definitely recommended for all of you who need some tearjerking romance, with a beautiful bittersweet ending ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
