Don't question - just enjoy and be happy!

I was a bit skeptical going into this but needed a drama to fill the gap between Hospital Playlist 2 and Hometown Cha Cha Cha so I thought I'd give this a go.
I was hooked the moment Chae Soo Bin appeared on screen! ? I'd never watched anything with her in, nor the male lead, Yoo Seung-Ho. Both acted incredibly well. We'll come to that later.
The story is about a recluse CEO of a financial company who does not like human contact due to a condition he has. The companies portfolio contains a company that has a subdivision that is developing AI robot tech. They need financial backing to make this viable.
The robot looks just like Ji-A (Chae Soo-Bib's character) and due to a technical mishap, and with the financial implications mounting up, the scientists persuade Ji-A to double for the robot while they rush to fix it.
What ensues is the relationship between Kim Mun-Kyu (Yoo Seung-Ho) and Aji-3 the robot. Stick with me on this one...

I'm not going to spoil any more but encourage you to watch this - it's an easy watch. While the concept with regards to the tech requires us to switch of that part of our brains, the acting, the love, the joy, the sadness (come on... it wouldn't be a kdrama without that!) will keep you hooked.
The acting stands out - especially from our protagonists and the scientists but also the supporting cast.

So will this change the world - no - but will it give your heart several hugs - YES! Go watch it.

unique and different concept..

This is one of the 'feel good' type Kdrama..It's got a great storyline, timely comic reliefs.. it's about sci-fi, being human, time, memories, courage and trust. The seriousness and dark mode never lasted too long and it faded away with the best climax I have watched.

The main characters are just hilarious???.... Yoo Seung-ho is indeed a great actor. His acting is flawless...
Each and every actor and their characters are awesome as they are done justice on till the end.

The ending of the story is beautifully and leisurely written which just warms your heart. If you are feeling sad after watching a sad story you should watch this for heal yourself. I love this wonderful drama with a happy ending...

My first ever review. I thought this drama deserved it.

It starts off very light-hearted and remains very easy to binge throughout the show. The main romance is super cute and the acting was very convincing and realistic. Pacing and overall writing is really good despite the 'unrealistic premise' of the show. Also thought the message it delivered was very apt as we're very closed off from each other emotionally nowadays. You won't feel any cheesy-ness from the show besides the cliche henchmen bit. 10/10 recommend to anyone.  Would've gotten overall 10 from me if not for the OST, had one or two tracks slightly lackluster.

THIS IS CHEESY DONE RIGHT!!

I had absolutely zero expectations from this drama. I was bored, and I decided to give it a go, and I had nothing better to do. I was intrigued within the first two episodes, and soon I was hooked. I didn't think the writers would be able to pull this show for 32 episodes with this plot and, tbh I was waiting for them to mess it up, and include unnecessary storylines to drag the show, but I am glad it did not happen. I was constantly on the edge of my seat and waiting to know how the story unfolds. The pacing and the important plot-lines were inserted just right and the end product was one of my favorite dramas ever. The casting and the chemistry between the leads were amazing, and it made somewhat of an abstract and peculiar plot work very well. The drama ended on a very happy note which is always a plus point. All in all I will definitely recommend this drama, specially if you are a fan of Rom/ Rom-Com dramas. I rarely consider re-watching dramas I've already watched, but I might come back to certain heartwarming moments in this drama from time to time.

I expected this one to be a light hearted rom com but this ended up much more emotionally impactful. Plot line was nonsensically illogical but if you are willing to suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the drama for the sake of it, you will find yourself getting attached to all the characters. The ML is ridiculously charming and FL absolutely cute as a robot. Their acting skills makes you want to continue watching irrespective of the giant holes in logic. Middle episodes are a lot heavier for this kind of storyline, it was so saddening and maddening to see the ML betrayed and understandably upset for several episodes but again somehow the show makes it all worthwhile and binge watch worthy. Side characters are typical of kdramas and become a found family for the ML, this makes for heartening scenes. The Agi-3 robot finding her way home will tug at your heart strings. OST is apt and sweet. Watch this if you want to suspend reality and escape into an emotional fantasy romcom.

Fluffy and simple

This is my first drama review ever, so I hope I'll be able to express my opinion as clearly as possible :)

The story is not too complicated once you get into the first couple of episodes. It's very nice to see the FL and ML relationship have their ups and downs. There were episodes that were heartbreaking to watch and others that were pure joy.
There are like always some holes in drama storylines (from my experience so far) but this drama barely had any. That's why I found it easy to follow and not be confused about the relationships everyone had with each other.

One thing I really like is the FL's strong character and will. That's probably why I liked her since the beginning. She's someone who does what she believes in and doesn't give up. She brings out the ML out of his solitary place and could be seen as his 'saviour' (why always the ladies though? xD).

I think I continued watching more for the characters and their relationships with each other, than the actual story lol. I liked the fact that all side characters were strongly present and that they weren't warm from the beginning (which added credibility).
The beginning might be confusing, but if you search for a drama where the ML finds a "robot" (person in disguise) who helps him bring back relationships and people in his life then why not give this drama a try.

Thanks for having read my review, I'll try my best improve my review writing skills and I hope you liked or will like the drama as much as I did or maybe even more ;D

PS: The scenes with foreigners always crack me up, and I don't know if it's the suddden English or the fact that they always need to be pretend to be either from the UK or US

The first few episodes were excellent & I really got into it, but shortly after that the the story progression crawled to complete halt, I did not feel the comedy anymore & in each episode I kept asking myself when will he find out, when will all this pain end? There is a reasonable happy ending, but as many have said there are unanswered questions and overall it does not make me forget all the frustrations I've had before, nor is it satisfying enough to give the drama a very high score. I'm not surprised that the ratings tanked in Korea.
I watched this over the course of 2 days, I strongly believe had I watched only 2-3 episodes a day I would have enjoyed it a lot more. I guess there is a limit how much frustration one can deal with in a day.

I feel that this show was a huge missed opportunity. They had a great story to tell & a truly outstanding cast, but there were problems with writing & directing. Chae Soo Bin could clearly act like the perfect Robot, but for some reason, when she was only pretending to be one it felt so unconvincing. It should have been convincing at times and then going out of character for comedic or dramatic effect, but this did not really happen. They could have expanded more on the genuine Aji3, her escape was one of the highlights of the show, but she barely had any screen time. I was waiting for a necklace related scene during the ending, also a big disappointment.

So much better than the summary suggests

I really put off watching this largely because I thought the plot summary sounded so incredibly silly. Ultimately, I was in need of something lighter as I’m trying to work my way through the super-heavy Misaeng.

What I discovered was a really engaging story about a male lead who had been betrayed by everyone who he should have been able to trust. The same sort of child trauma has been handled really sloppily in the past, but this story decided not to delve too deeply into it and instead focus on the consequences of not being able to trust easily & how to begin to re-engage with people who are worthy of his trust.

The chemistry between the two leads is so cute and the ML’s range & acting ability is impressive.

So glad I watched this!

Cute Romantic Comedy!

This is quite enjoyable, with a delightful touch of comedy. The actors deliver strong performances, and the music complements the scenes nicely. What sets it apart is its unique plot, further enriched by the excellent chemistry between the leads. The ending was satisfying, brimming with sweet gestures. While the misunderstandings between the characters were understandable, they were resolved in a nice and satisfying manner.

By far one of the best rom-coms' of 2017!

I didn't know what to expect from this show but it's become one of my favorite Korean dramas ever! What I loved most about this show was that is was so cheesy and corny! It was even so freaking adorable that it always kept a smile on my face! So excited for the next episode so much and always hated those cliffhangers because it was soooo good! Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Woo Bin were by far the best things about this show, they were PHENOMENAL! The two of them together had such an huge effect of me. They made me happy, make me laugh, get mad/annoyed, make me feel their pain and always were able to make me cry. Also, the chemistry was off the charts, that's how good they are together. I shipped them so much, they were what I really only cared about most in this show.

Yoo Seung Ho was already one of my favorite actors to begin with. However, for me, I think this is his best role by far. He needs to do more rom-coms! He was so adorable, sexy and weird. He usually plays characters with the sad past/hard life but for me this character had a bigger effect on me than his previous characters. I came to love his character so much that I feel like I just want him all to myself. Chae Soo Bin, haven't seen much of her but I was impressed. She did a great job at play Ji Ah & Aji 3. But the best thing was Ji Ah pretending to be the Jia 3. You'll see what I mean if you watch! Both of their characters have dreams that they want to achieve and you can't help but root for them. As for the Santa Maria team, you come to care for them as well and appreciate the bond between everyone.

For this being a lighthearted rom-com, it does carry some heavy tones. I warned you before about crying, so have tissues ready! I would definitely recommended this if you're looking for a good story and lovable characters!

A Splendidly Enjoyable, Feel-good Drama

An amusing, light, funny and feel-good Kdrama with none of the usual tropes and makjang, no annoying in-laws nor rivalries, put just pure and simple, pleasant cast mostly. Fell in love with YSH’s character here, one of the best young actors I have ever seen, so matured and excellent, showing such a wide range emotions, from serious to comical, he’s simply lovable. The FL is equally at par with YSH, endearing with her quirky, feisty and inventive main character, likewise with her portrayal as a robot! I have never seen her before, but she acts superbly in this one! Support cast of “scientists” are funny, too, as well as the FL’s best friend, so hilarious. Splendidly enjoyable.

I watched this purely for Chae Soo Bin and was hoping I'd like the drama more than her last one, Strongest Deliveryman. And I did! This drama is so cute and fluffy that you can easily ignore the wacky ass plot. A girl who pretends to be a robot for a chaebol with an allergy against humans? Ridiculous. But the actors are what truly make this drama shine, along with the two main lead's amazing chemistry. I loved every single person in this. The side characters are all so lovable, especially team Santa Maria. Also CSB is so dang cute as an android. I need a pocket-sized version of Aji 3. This drama kept me interested since the beginning and will definitely put you through a gauntlet of emotions. The ending was very satisfying and wrapped everything up nicely. This is the perfect drama to binge over the weekend if you want something new with a breezy feel.
