so if u really want to watch good kdramas please skip this one<3
Some good recomandations to watch: now, we're breaking up, happiness, one ordinary day, idol: the coup, jirisan, flower of evil, whats wrong with secretary kim etc

wasn’t a slice of life..

The problem with such dramas, is that they hold a huge responsibility, a drama about the hardships of getting married..
I didn’t expect much to be honest from the beginning, so I’m not disappointed, I’m right now watching the last episode
this drama, it’s not that bad, but it’s not good either, it’s perfect for passing time, is the perfect way to describe it, let’s start with the story, because it’s what I think is most important
I’d say this drama is poorly written, unfortunately they wanted to show us how marriage is different but I didn’t feel the difference, marriage is such a hard thing to do, it’s a huge responsibility on both partners, but instead of showing us the hardships of 2 complete strangers getting married, they stopped at the first zone of their interaction, what I mean is that they were complete strangers, until the end, they literally kept speaking formally until last episode, I mean, where’s the flow of the relationship, how are we supposed to understand and to sympathize if there are no feelings at all, she said she loves him, he cried after she left, but in the process there wasn’t any chemistry, for the actors, I’ve never seen the male actor in anything before or maybe I have but as a second character but he wasn’t really that good, either that or his role just sucks, because he’s supposed to be serious and formal but I thought that was going to change at some point, as I mentioned there wasn’t any improvement in their relationship, he’s supposed to be, weird because he was hurt in the past, but in actuality he’s just robotic, the reason I went to lengths of saying he sucks, because of the crying scene, I wasn’t affected, for the actress, I liked her in your smile has left your eyes, but I don’t like her here at all, this was supposed to be serious because the message they are trying to convey is heavy, but in my opinion she wasn’t fit for this role, you can find better, I don’t have much criticism for the “ we want to get married but it’s hard for us “ couple, I don’t remember their names, to be honest I was kind of pissed at the girl, not because she wanted to get married but because she was acting like a child sometimes, and she didn’t take her partner’s life in consideration, she was selfish, as for soo ji and the CEO, their relationship was really interesting and light, I like both of them, one of things I didn’t like is the sexual references they kept dropping, one of the reasons I enjoy kdramas more than western tv is because they focus more on the story, this felt as a desperate way to copy american shows, as for the music, marriage by moonmoon OST is better than the whole series, it’s really good and emotional, overall I’d say if you just want to pass time watch it but you can find 10 times better shows, real kdrama and melodrama, actual and bittersweet slices of life

Drama for mature viewers - based on content ONLY
Gem of a drama that has been overlooked.
Story: Steadfast and realistic story of modern relationships - what is marriage? what is love? love and desire ? told from three pivotal points: 30+, parents, work comrades. Compelling (writing) story-lines of loss, luggage of past, and fear of future. The dialogs and discussions between the adults was "brilliantly delivered and complimented by the camera work
Acting/Casting: Main leads were mesmerizing. Every actor was on point for dialog, body language and feels. Solid casting.
Music: simply perfect OST and songs within episodes
Overall: Almost passed this over from the poster. Dove into based on reviews. One of best dramas for 2017 (maybe 18 from what I've watched). If you are looking for a drama that has depth, breathe and clarity, WATCH THIS!

The drama gives us 3 different women who has taken on different set of life choices but have not yet chosen to live for themselves. They are so busy thinking about what is going to happen in the future, they start to realise that the present won't seize itself. Each of them meet different sorts of guys which come into their lives whether willingly or not and makes them realise that they have so much more to live for in the present that they initially thought. There are some necessary scenes where the couple must be apart but only because they need to learn about themselves and what do they want in the end of the day. Despite the hardships, these 3 women could still rely on another for support.

Everyone gets the ending they deserve here so it's very satisfying to watch. The characters that each people portrayed were executed well and I found myself not taking an intermission with this drama. It always has an element to look forward to, whether it is a good or bad development.

An excerpt from Ji-Ho and See-Hee - "just because you lived yesterday, doesn't mean you know everything about today", was something that struck me. The characters they played aren't very young and have gone through a portion of their lives before. The difference was that they lived different lives from another, so how they perceived living was not the same. Ji-Ho was too busy to live and See-Hee thinks he has done enough and gets protective from going outside his comfort zone yet putting these two together you get some conflict of values but it's what they needed. Soo Ji has lived in detachment while being self sufficient, meets Sang Goo who would never take that away from her despite it frustrating him. Ho Rang and Woo Seok always had one another, learns to live without the other and sees if that really was the best choice after all. All these couples encounter phases which are the contrast to their current situations and it helps them live better for their days ahead.

This drama is worth the watch and it left me thinking about what I want to do about my present without constantly worrying about the future that has yet to come.

This kdrama just entered my favorite's list! i knew it would from a very early stage.
These stories have a way more mature approach, it's not all just fluffly love. All 3 relationships are different and show different points of view. Love that all roles are "main roles", but for that we needed more time with all of them... perhaps a second season or just 5 more episodes.
Even Ji Ho and Se Hee parents gave solid speeches in this kdrama. Feels like you have something to learn from all of them and it's great! Love when kdramas have solid secondary characters.

My only true complain about this kdrama is how it should be longer, cause the last 2 episodes gave us too little time to watch all 3 couples develop their answers and realizations. I wanted Ji Ho to actually fully explain her thought process to Se Hee when she left, and let him fully understand it with words. I know this is a kdrama, but since it had so many good convos i was expecting a more mature approach in the end, but it felt like the show run out of time to explain everything.

Same thing with the other two couples, i wanted to see more of Soo Ji's business plans and personal development, as well as how she truly came to appreciate her boyfriend and realize that it was possible to love and still have her mother around. For the Ho Rang and Won Seok, honestly my favorite couple, i expected also more time for them to heal and forgive each other. If they were to go their separate ways it would be a more realistic, cause sometimes you do grow apart from people you love. Sometimes loving someone is not enough. Sometimes you need other things that you later realize are not (and should not be) fullfied by someone else and it's rather work you need to do by yourself. But even ending it with them together (that always warms people's hearts), they still needed more time before jumping to planning their wedding exactly where they left it before. Just being apart and realize they missed each other dearly, does not fix their different points of view. For that you need a lot of time to process your priorities and accept the other person wishes and meet in the middle.

Once again i know i am watching a kdrama, but since the stories were just so good i was expecting some really well explained endings for all characters and felt very rushed. All of a sudden everyone is "married" and everything worked out.

Still i think people should watch this kdrama! Has some real grown up speeches that are amazing! Strongly recommend!

OMG
I couldn't bear
I couldn't push my self to watch more than episode 13
I watched most of the rest by skipping scenes
No plot
No story
No feelings during the whole drama between the 1st main leads except very few ones
Too long with no need

For the first time DEFINITELY the Japanese version was much more better a lot

It was very slow pace
I liked the second couple more than the 1st and the 3rd
The romance was very lame between the 1st main couples
I disliked that the ML had a dead face expression
Yes I know it was his role at the beginning
But sure there must be difference after loving the FL
But he was the same
He was a very bad actor in this drama

There were almost no interaction between them inspite of living at the same house

Almost No friction to love each other
Just very very very few situations to make such a rational character like the FL fall in love with such a fridge man like this one

I liked the restaurant guy more of course

Wouldn't recommend
But if you liked hometown cha cha cha
So you are going to like this one

These kinds of stories are more my favourites in the K-Drama world. No otherworldly villains or antagonists. Just three couples trying to live their lives - one through convenience, one through unwillingness to take the next step, and one where careers come first. And it’s a thrilling ride, albeit a bit predictable. But that doesn’t take away how enjoyable and easy the drama is to get invested in. The plot points dealt with many everyday occurrences such as the meaning of marriage, dealing with sexual harassment at work - both being the victim and being on on-looker - growing up both professional and personally. Tonally, the plots were usually not too heavy nor is it played for laughs. The serious subjects were treated with respect and the lighter plots have their own weight to them as well.

The cast and acting was excellent as well. Lee Min Ki was pretty much perfect as the prickly, socially awkward Se Hee. His chemistry with Jung So Min was excellent - although there is only so many times I can take their football talk and not roll my eyes at the complete transparency in how little they are into football (in real life I mean) - but also Park Byung Eun’s character Sang Goo, Se Hee’s best friend and Boss. All the leads matched well with their counterparts as well as the supporting roles. Shout out to Bo Mi as a character. Was a good friend to everyone she interacted with, added some good, witty humor to her scenes while having good chemistry with Won Seok (played by Kim Min Seok), to the point where you wouldn’t mind if he took her up on her offer to be together at the end. I can’t praise this enough. The acting and casting from the Families to the main cast was outstanding.

I love this drama! Of all the ones I've watched, it's among the few that I would consider seeing again, and I don't watch dramas twice. Here's why though: 2 major reasons.

First, it's the perfect blend of drama, comedy, and romance, and the chemistry between the leads is AMAZING. I'd never seen JSM or LMK in anything before, but after finishing this drama, I had to go and watch the other shows they star in. Both are great actors and the characters themselves are beautiful, complex and hilariously relatable. The female lead is strong, but still struggles with her life and insecurities like any woman would. The male lead is completely ridiculous in the best way, and it's so much fun to watch him grow emotionally throughout the show. The way they fall in love is just perfect! Beyond the beauty of the MC's relationship, the secondary leads are all great, adding equal portion of comedy and drama to the storyline. Personally, the secondary love stories here (it's SO much better than them existing for the sole purpose of some stupid half-assed love triangle with the MCs) are the most fun of any show I've watched.

Second: The greater reason that this show is so amazing is actually because of all the things it DOESN'T do. I've watched a lot of dramas that are good, except that they have a majorly annoying character, dragged out plot or tired troupe. BTIMFL avoids what I consider to be major pitfalls. First, none of the characters annoyed me. I raved already about my love for the MCs, but real talk, dramas often fall short when it comes to the supporting cast. This one doesn't. No annoying supporting leads hung up on the MCs, constantly sabotaging their relationship. No shoot-yourself-in-the-foot meddlesome parents, and no mysterious, under-developed half-siblings jumping out of the woodwork. Not that some of the characters aren't flawed, or that you won't be annoyed with them at times, but generally, they all grow in a positive way and no one is over the top in their idiocy. Also, BTIMFL is refreshingly free of troupes: the male lead isn't some rich, entitled man-child. The female lead isn't woefully incompetent or have violent, emotional outbursts, the storyline doesn't contain any mistaken identities, amnesia, brother/sister complexes or unbelievably tragic backstories. So yeah, the fact that it's refreshingly different contributes, in my opinion, contributes a lot to the enjoyment factor.

This drama amazingly manages to avoid most of the things that annoy me when I watch dramas. That doesn't mean it's perfect or that you'll love it as much as I do, but maybe you will! It's definitely worth watching and finding out for yourself :)

Such a feel good series

This was an unexpectedly good series. Like there were soo many quotes here and there and the ost was sooo nice too. I honestly did not think I would like this series. And it wraps up quite beautifully too.

And the acting was really nice in my opinion. I like the leading lady and after this series I wanted to watch more dramas of Lee min ki

The story itself is somewhat ordinary. But the way its executed Is very goood. I got some really amazing quotes from this movie. I actually paused and literaly wrote it down.

It is a very simple drama yet it makes you think.

OMG what a beautiful story. I have to admit that this is one of my ove all favorite drama . The story between the three girlfriends was excellent and how each one found love. However I enjoyed the relationship between WonSeok and Ho Rang more. I love him he is such a cutie . Se Hee is another great actor, he fit perfectly for this role in this serie. If haven’t seen him in Spellbound the movie, watch it , a great movie. The cast over all was excellent and the blue eye cat was the best, he stole the show and the ending was great.

A Simple Fun but Yet Profound Show

This was a lighthearted show with so much depth. Thanks to the writers who wrote it so well. Though the plotline seems so cliche, the depth came from the thoughtful writing of each character. There were many moments that surprisingly authentically funny, without trying too hard. The 2 side characters/supporting love lines usually are boring and overdone.. but it was rare to actually enjoy and be interested in the side stories that were engagingly interesting. Very very well written. Smartly written.
Only thing, I didnt like the last 2 episodes which I dont understand why it had to be that way. Was very frustrating. However, overall it is a must watch.

I loved the drama overall the plot was easy to follow and the romance was easily balanced with comedy and etc.. it wasn't cliche in any way. The music and sound effects fit perfectly with the mood of the scene that was taking place and it was humorous in its own way. Overall I loved watching it sadly it finished within 16 episodes the actors did a great job in conveying the characters personality and mood a big hand should go to Lee Min Ki he did amazingly is acting skills was top notch throughout the whole drama obviously I'm not leaving out Jung So Min she did equally as well! I would recommend this to anyone that wants to see a sweet Romance there were times I felt like skipping and going to where they actually liked each other but I'm happy didn't even thought it takes a while for them to fully convey feeling I still think it was amazing! highly recommend :)!
