Both dramas have very similar stories. They both involve childhood, separation, reunion, and rival partners.

Both stories deal with childhood sweethearts who are separated due to various circumstances then brought back together only to have to deal with all those around them trying to keep them apart and things like illnesses and such. They have a lot of similar scenes, themes, and tone. If you like one you're bound to like the other.

The dramas have a very similar part. The characters both play the same roles. It's a story about a brother and sister that have a really close relationship but is separated from each other after they found out the female lead is not his real sister. They meet after 10 years as soon fall in love.

Same forbidden love between "fake" brother and sister. Same terminal illness. Same lead actress and her acting is kind of the same in both as well.
