Blue Spring (2002)

Both are based in a manga and have similar stories, cool fighting scenes, is set in a school, badass characters and such.

Both had rotten kids who takes wrong decisions and tell stories about teens in they're grow-up paths.
They left you a sad and bitter taste but a litlle of hope too.

Very different films at first glance, though one reminds me of the other. Both of them are not mainstream, blue spring being very violent and kirishima messing with the story line a bit. What they have in common is the portrayal of young people being locked up in a neat and little world called high school and looking to the outside world, thinking, what the heck am I gonna do. What is it that I want to do. And does it even matter.
In addition, both have terrific soundtrack.

Both films are set in highschool. They also both deal with friendships and how people can change in teenage years

Two angsty coming of age stories about teens/young adults, where they allow the silence speak for itself in certain scenes. The Eight Sense is a BL. Blue Spring is a bit darker with more violence, no romance.

it's not that they're that similar - completely different you may say, but there's a similarity (hard to grasp similarity that I personally feel in there) and if I said what I think that is, it'd be spoilers ... that kind of thing
somehow, I'm sorry, but I still recommend each to go after the other
..especially if you've seen neither

both take place in allboys highschool where close friendships are wrecked and squads fall apart. When one friend starts to ignore the other feelings of inferiority and animosity arise and things go too far
