Mean ML & boring story
Why, oh, why, did I waste so many hours of my life? Hours I'll never get back. I rarely drop shows, but I had to with this one. I could never figure out what the FL sees in the ML other than him being a huge jerk. I was watching this on 2x speed just to get the answer to the mystery of her condition, but even that was too much. The only beautiful thing about this show was the good-looking actors. Was this review helpful to you?

okay.hello.this is my first time writing a review.please overlook the mistakes.firstly,things i loved-everything......
things i hated-nothing except for the evil characters.
story-well,a woman whose face and body changes once a month and a man who can't remember faces.huh, seems very complicated as for their love story.but trust me it is awesome.you won't feel bored for a second .In every single episode you will be rolling on the bed from laughing for hundred times(well, i was).those who are not watching the drama because you have seen the movie but are curious please watch it because though their concept are more or less similar, the drama is totally different from the movie.the script writer slayed it in my opinion.
acting- do i need to say this . ofcourse, it was perfect.all of them are professionals .SHJ was very pretty (especially in the cinderella scene please check that out),LMK no need to say <3,AJH again blessed us with his angelic appearance. I can't name everyone but every actor did their best .also the actors who had special appearance basically own the drama in a way.
music-good,very good.I actually tend to concentrate on the drama while watching . but yeah the osts were good.
rewatch value-yes .I will definitely watch it again in the future.even if I can't watch all 16 episodes , I will obviously watch the moments of it.(can't live without those)
overall-it is pretty good.totally different from the movie (as the movie has a little melo vibe.but it has more rom-com vibe) but it has its own attraction.
okay now the things i want to actually say-loved HSG and SDJ couple .SHJ was an angel.really loved her.well first time watching LMK smiling so much.also maybe joking with a poker face is his speciality .loved the bond between HSG,RYH,YWM .also bromance between JJH and SDJ was one of it's own kind.cried out laughing most of the time HSG changed (especially in front of SDJ's mom and during the cinderella scene).also loved the chemistry and bickerings of YWM and JJH .loved kingkong and sometimes i wonder how it can sense that HSG is near to it.
now thank you for wasting your time by reading this.I am totally sorry if you feel this way. but please watch atleast two episodes of it.then it will obviously become an addiction.

Weird but interesting...with emotional payoff
The premise here is weird but interesting, and also fruitful in terms of episodic story arcs that support the overall theme/arc of the show. The prosopagnosia angle with the ML has been done several other times, but this show takes it to an extreme with the constantly changing appearance of the FL. I liked both the leads and loved the storyline with her mother. That's where I really felt the emotional payoff. Was this review helpful to you?
The beauty of chemistry
This is an excellent storyline centred around the ability/power of female lead. This powers results in confusing and compromising positions with various characters of the story.Leaving the main leads out, the story around the second lead couple is amazing. The chemistry between the second couple is beautiful. This is to the point that I would have loved to have more scenes between them and development of their relationship.

so much lies and hiding!
10 years ago, 20 yo segye woke up in an old woman's body. her body changed during the night. she panicked and went outside not knowing what to do, where to go. during this run she went into an accident, and the man who tried to help her ended up badly hurt, perhaps dead. she fainted and woke up in hospital always in that new body, escaped again to find her friends... today, 30 yo segye is the most followed actress of korea, and every month during 1 week her body changes. she can be anyone, male, female, young or old. this happens any where at unexpected moments, even when she is about to receive an award. she therefor gain the reputation to always run away...I dropped this drama in episode 3, I watched it again because I wanted to know the end, and I didn’t like it. there are so many lies and secrets! so many running, so many non sens! so many manipulations! Even though things are improving in the end, it’s still not ideal. Bad guys get off the ground in one go, so easy you wonder why they put up with them for so long... it’s just a boring drama. it could have turned so well if the writer had done a better job! the casting was pretty good though and the MFL did a wonderful job.
when to watch: just don't.

A sweet Romantic series (without sugar) but full of wisdom
I don't know why, I wasn't more hooked than that on the first viewing (maybe because it was one of my first dramas :)On the other hand, I really loved it when I saw it again!!
PLOT: An actress completely changes her physique (face, body, voice) one week per month. Not easy to manage, but one man who doesn't recognize faces, will help her and love her.
Through this plot, the series casually addresses a lot of controversial subjects: gender, the role and status of women, discrimination, old age, mourning, faith, etc.
PROS:
+ 2 fantastic leads (ML = Lee Min Ki / FL = Seo Hyun Jin) who demonstrate all their talent in these difficult roles, and a great cast!
+ Romance 2 is unexpected with an authoritarian and direct FL2, and a kind ML2, torn between his dream and his love.
+ Story well constructed, intelligent & asks true questions.
+ Very good OSTs, (some are now on my playlist).
CONS:
It's a fantasy series, so there's a lot of "dramaland" (multiple twists, jealous villains, gross coincidences,...)
=> Series which fully deserves its high rating (which I will perhaps watch again, just to discover new aspects of the drama)
(。◕‿◕。)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Heartfelt and Unique Love Story That Captivates Every Time!
"The Beauty Inside" is truly one of my all-time favorite dramas! I’ve rewatched it more than seven times, and each viewing is just as captivating as the first. The premise is fascinating: the female lead (FL) has the unique ability to transform into different people for a week each month. As a famous actress, this condition complicates her life in such intriguing ways. The male lead (ML) adds another layer to the story with his prosopagnosia, a condition that makes it difficult for him to recognize faces. Their relationship begins to blossom when he surprisingly recognizes her despite her transformations. The dynamic between them grows deeper as they navigate their challenges together, leading to a heartfelt contract that seals their bond.
The plot thickens when the FL discovers that the ML’s condition stems from an accident related to her—a twist that adds emotional depth and complexity to their love story. Thankfully, the drama wraps up with a satisfying happy ending.
I also love the friendships portrayed, especially the FL's relationship with her best friends, which brings a fun and supportive vibe to the series. The cute second lead couple and the ML’s quirky family add humor and warmth, even amidst some misunderstandings. The moments with the FL's mother were particularly touching; I found myself in tears during some scenes.
The FL’s bold and slightly eccentric personality makes her such an enjoyable character to watch, especially when she confronts her annoying co-actress. It’s moments like these that add a layer of fun and drama to the show.
Overall, "The Beauty Inside" is an underrated gem that masterfully blends romance, comedy, and emotional moments. It's a must-watch for anyone who loves a unique love story with well-developed characters!

Even if the story seems fun at first, the storyline isn't anything new, just some cliché brought from other drama like 'rich man and poor woman'

that Fake Prist Ruin this drama for me
Main couple even without solid story line 5/10ML is annoying and the fact that any other human being like him in a romantic way is a question to there mental health
how can you like him if your sane ?
LEE MIN KI knows nothing about acting all he can do is act robotic or annoying that make him most foolish actor in between all those talented actor he work with, he is slim and that made him look tall but he look unhealthy
SML -10/10 for being a fake priest,
how a person who cant even right names become legal council ? ML dont have budget to hire a educated lawyer so he hire a school dropout as lawyer with fake degree of SNU.
as most of people in k drama got there degrees from FAKE SNU
Pretending to be fake priest and seducing a girl, at end he pretend like he was not doing anything wrong was WRONG itself
he was working a regular job, then he start acting like a priest by wearing cheap black clock of invisibility while he was seducing that girl, pretending he is not, if he had no feelings then how come at end he just develop feeling ?
and if he had feelings for her from start or grow feeling during the time, he should not have pretended to become a priest fake drama,
it was disgusting to think married womans go to church and there husband think its safe to meet priest but end up finding out priest was screwing your wife in church, You cant even trust churches now,
all priest still have dicks,
main couple was one i watched for second time and skipped other couple
i like SFL but her pairing with a fake low life priest was disgusting.

Drama promotes human trafficking
After the first two episodes, the ML has proven to be a stalkersince he went snooping around the FL's house, thief for taking and breaking into her cellphone, and human trafficker. They actually show him threatening the FL to force her to travel across districts with him so she can please another businessman and he confiscates her luggage, money, and ID so she cannot run off. Under no circumstances is that okay and it is irresponsible to even suggest that this is even the slightest bit endearing. The FL has already shown that she is willing to retire and disappear at the slightest inconvenience so I don't believe any of the reasons for her to stay and keep being coerced. The third episode did not end with him in handcuffs and so I'm off this ride.
