Wataru lives with his wife and his daughter Shiori on a cattle ranch in Hokkaido. He inherited the cattle ranch from his father. He also runs a cheese workshop. He isn't as skilled in making cheese and is often scolded by his strict teacher. Yet, he has a good time with his colleagues including Kanbe, who moved to the area from Tokyo.
One day, a famous chef from Sapporo comes and makes a meal with materials they produced. They are touched by the cooking and decide to open a restaurant. They want their customers to experience the same feeling that they got when eating the chef's delicious food.
