In all seriousness, the drama was OKAY. Not the best but not terrible either. The stalking became too much as each episode went by. Usually the stalking is done by the females but they do not go as far as the male lead here. The male lead in the dramas literally follows the female lead EVERYWHERE, even places that are meant to be private (he even waited outside a changing room!?) It got annoying. Sometimes he even forces the other characters to tell him what's up when its obvious they did not want to include him, he's also very controlling as well. Yeah, I know he LOVES Yuan Xin but there's a limit to where you can stalk a person and control them as well.
Aside from Simon Lian's terrible character stalking, one of the bullies was quite tame . I like that she changed for the better and how much self-confidence she had.
This drama dragged on for what felt like many many maaaaany episodes even though it was only 24 and I have seen over 40+ episode dramas. Problem with this one is that it was very dragging, because the female lead. Yuan Xin, was very oblivious to Ya Xiu's feelings. I also like how they retell a character's POV when its time for them to tell their friends about some incident. It's a nice editing method(?).
I do love the friendship in this drama, the relatable hardships and sorrows, etc. But I would not rewatch it.

I didn't give this a 10/10 because the transition between certain events and scenes were awkward. However, viewers should be able to grasp the main message of the series.
Also, the OST for this series has lots of songs from Mayday so it's a plus for Mayday fans.

An unexpectedly good school drama
I started watching the drama because of Lian Chen Xiang (Simon Lian) who had impressed me a lot in “Lost Romance” and I was pleasantly surprised. The drama is such an amazing watch. It is great at all the most important aspects: directing, characterization, camerawork, cinematography and acting, all is very good indeed. Everything happening on screen feels so organic and true to life. The dialogues are smartly done; they serve well to define characters and nothing sounds rehearsed or artificial.The plot is quite simple: the Ml is a student who is considered a lost cause in terms of studying but the appearance of the FL in his life motivates him to get back to school and gives him a new purpose in life and new friends.
What I liked most is how subtly the ML and FL's (and other characters) personalities are shown. They are multi-dimensional and realistic, very human, with lots of both strengths and weaknesses. It is wonderful how nothing overdramatic or of large scale really happens, mainly just small events of day by day life. But still the drama never gets boring and keeps you invested in these little details and insights about characters.
The best part is the ML. He seems at first a rather typical drama character being a rich kid with parent issues and problems at school, popular among the classmates. However the script and the actor manage to give this cliché character depth, prove him to be indeed special and make you like him a lot .
Lian Chen Xiang is brilliant at portraying the ML’s youthful budding love for the FL and his hurting over the girl's crush on other boy. He is very endearing in his awkward attempts to get her attention and to care for her.
The reason why the score is not a 10 is a messy ending. The time skip is totally unnecessary and illogical. They should have ended the story at the leads' entering college. Then the confession, first date and so on would make perfect sense.
Despite the awkward final episodes I would certainly recommend the drama and will rewatch it myself.

First of all this drama is really nice. It's no different than any other. But there were negative and positive things about these drama. Sarting with the negative things ( my oppinion only) - it never actually showed that Xu Yong Xin loved Do Ya Xiu until the last 1-2 episodes. She always counted him has a bestfriend.
- (in my opinion I like dramas with a lot of cute and romantic parts between the main characters.) There really wasn't any cute or romantic scenes between Xu Yong Xin and Do Ya Xiu. They kissed only thee times which kinda sucks because I wanted more than that.
But don't worry it's not that bad. The best part of this drama is that
- the main 4 characters friendship is goals. They were always there for each other no matter what. That was really sweet.
-Do Ya Xiu and Xu Yong Xin always understood each other. Couple made in heaven.
-there was always unexpected scenes coming up. This drama kept me shook.
- Do Ya Xiu waited whole 12 years for Xu Yong Xin. Do Ya Xiu is really handsome and smart. A lot of girls always followed him but he ignored them all. He had only Xu Yong Xin in his heart.
-I loved Do Ya Xiu personality towards Xu Yong Xin. He always bullied her but in the nicer way;)

So fresh and cute, heartwarming and adorable at the same time. The theme and conflict is so youth-y and often faced when you're on your youth age.
In this drama, the teenager face their problems and solve it with their adolescence mind and way. They fall, they hurt, they cry, but they rise again. And during that process they're stick together as a bestfriend.
There's an unexpected plot in the story, but it makes the drama more complicated than just a youth drama.
For the romance part, I love how Du Ya Xiu always try to protect Xu Yong Xin and I love how he get jealous ^_~

Je ne vais pas du tout être objective. Ce drama n'est pas parfait loin de là, il n'y a pas de réel suspense, le scénario est du déjà-vu. En tant normal, je n'aurais peut-être mis que 7, mais j'ai tout bonnement aimé cette série. Si je n'étais pas en train de regarder en même temps l'excellent, magique et extraordinaire drama "Lovely Us" (qui lui vaut 20/10), j'aurais même donné 10/10 à ce drama. L'histoire ne révolutionne en rien le genre. Et pourtant l'alchimie entre nos deux tourtereaux a réussi à me tenir scotché pendant 2 jours. Allons, avouons-le, j'ai totalement craqué pour Du Ya Xiu. Il est juste sexy et beau à damner un saint. Habituellement, cela me fait sourire de voir celui qu'on appelle "beau gosse" à l'école, car je trouve rarement que cela se mérite. Mais là, rendons lui justice : sa froideur, sa cool attitude, ses rares sourires, sa prestance font de lui un réel "beau gosse" . Mais au-delà de son physique, j'ai surtout aimé sa façon d'aimer Yong Xin, aimer autant une personne pendant 12 ans, lui consacrer chaque minute de ses pensées et des ses actions m'ont totalement fait fangirliser.
Je n'ai pas trouvé que les histoires secondaires soient passionnantes mais cela ne m'a pas non plus dérangé au point de faire avancer rapidement les épisodes.
Alors oui, il y a des moments bancales, parfois ennuyantes, des interrogations sur "mais pourquoi ne sont-ils toujours pas ensemble 12 ans plus tard" ....
Mais au final, cela reste un bon drama, une belle romance et puis, rien que pour Simon Lian, ce drama ne m'a pas du tout déçue ^^ et pour la déclaration et la confession de Simon Lian, moi je vote oui :)
