The story line: I really liked the storyline they didn't focus too much on the side characters story and they stuck to the main plot of the drama. It did not drag what so ever. I know in some mystery dramas the story ends up being craggy and people start to lose interest but in this drama it doesn't. The directed and the writer does not go overboard with it. It was fast paced too, I didn't feel like the drama was fast towards the end I felt it went at the right place which was good because most dramas finishes the drama with a fast pace.
The storyline itself it nice and I also liked the side stories they were fun. As the main plot of the drama is kind of heavy the side stories makes you appeal more to it which is weird that I don't know how to even explain.
I would date the storyline: 9.0
Acting: Needless to say the acting was on point. Everyone did well the main cast, supporting cast etc. I really loved Song YoonAh. She's really amazing and I love her works. It was my first time seeing Kim So Yeon and she did an excellent job made her character live. Those two were the highlights but of course song Jae Rim and Kim Tae Woo did well to. Song Jae Rim is just so cute, really loved him in here and Kim Tae Woo did a good job as the villain in the story. I really hated him which means he did a good job. Wish to see them all in newer projects in the future. Acting was;10/10
I don't think there was anything I disliked apart from the title because once you watch it you will start to think about the title like "who is the secret mother" "what does the title mean by secret mother" it could have been titled with something better that suits the show more such as "mothers secrets" in which if you had watched the drama then you would understand what that would have meant.
This drama is underrated and it shouldn't have been. You would definitely enjoy this drama if you give your full attention/concentration. One of the 4/5th drama I have liked and enjoyed so far for 2018

A Serviceable Thriller
I've skipped past this many times thinking the synopsis sounded unappealing, rich mommies mentally abusing their children - no thanks.Yet in reality this is a perfectly serviceable Kdrama Thriller suffering from all the usual problems but with some great performances and a compelling enough story.
The story whilst interesting and (at least in the beginning) a little difficult to predict soon settles into something a bit more predictable. Fortunately the trip to the eventual dénouement has a plethora of twists and turns to keep you interested.
As usual for Kdrama thrillers the need to spin things out throws up situations where logic, police procedure, common sense and occasionally the space time continuum go out of the window. I never found it to be immersion breaking though and was dragged along with little effort.
The side characters stories I found to be less compelling at least after the first few episodes. The mystery vanished leaving fairly pedestrian relationship plots behind. Nothing you haven't seen before in some form or another though it was nice to see how supportive all of them turned out to be.
Acting: Some fine performances from Song Yoon Ah and Kim Tae Woo made up for a slightly less accomplished one from Kim So Yeon. Song Jae Rim I found disappointing. Everyone else did a good job with the parts they were given with a special mention for Kim Ye Joon.
Music: I actually enjoyed the music in this and whilst it was overplayed I never really tired of it.
Rewatch: Probably not at least not until I have forgotten all the twists.
TLDR: An enjoyable thriller with enough to lift it above the norm without it being a classic.

A Good Watch
I liked the storyline. However, I feel that the title does not match with the story. After reading the title I thought that probably Song Yoon Ah isn't the mother and that Kim So Yeon was the mother. But anyway, keeping this aside, it was overall a very great and enjoyable drama. I decided to watch this drama after seeing Kim So Yeon in The Penthouse. I really liked her acting and I watched this for her.Although this was a thriller genre, it was quite light-hearted as compared to Penthouse. It's interesting and you can watch it with family. If you are into thrillers but are too tired of the intensity, you can give this drama a try.

Socret Mother, trabalha dividido em duas partes com algumas sub histórias, uma preparação para a história principal, então podemos dizer que o drama se passa no pós acidente da Kim Eun-Young e após o acidente.O drama começa no aniversário de 40 anos da escola primária de Myongmoon, com um bazar, no meio desse bazar um corpo cai na piscina, todos ali presente se aproximam e ao reconhecerem o corpo se apavoram, uma delas olha pra cima do prédio e ver Kim Yoon-Jin, próxima do local que o corpo caiu.
Kim Yoon-Jin é levada como principal suspeita do caso, outras três mulheres também são levadas a delegacia, pois teriam motivos para tentar mata Eun-Young.
O drama narra os momentos pós tentativa de assassinato da Eun-Young.
Kim Eun-Young, está de volta há Coreia depois de anos para investiga a causa da morte/desaparecimento de sua irmã. Depois de alguns eventos causados pela mesma, ela consegue se passa de tutora e entra na vida de Yoon-Jin, sua principal suspeita do desaparecimento de sua irmã, mas ao longo que a série avança descobrimos que as coisas não são bem assim e tem pessoas mais poderosas e próximas escondendo a verdade.
Yoon-Jin, uma ex médica é uma mãe muito atenciosa, mas que possuir traumas muito doloridos, seguidos de culpa e amargura, ao longo do drama isso só fica mais notável, ao ponto de ser incomodo, porém a série logo revela esses traumas que ela possui. O sequestro de sua filha e morte, onde ela se culpa, pois se iniciou por um desentendimento com uma de suas pacientes, pelo menos e o que a série entrega ao telespectador, porém ao decorrer dos episódios, começamos a descobri a verdade e os verdadeiros culpados.
O drama no começo também apresentar suas sub histórias com os outros personagens, uma disputa entre as mães da alta sociedade para ver qual filho e mais inteligente e tem maiores talentos, com uma sempre alfinetando a outra. Vemos também que a vida dessas mulheres, que apesar de ricas, não são inteiramente felizes e descobrimos que elas possuem segredos.
Kang Hye Kyung, uma mulher supostamente traída pelo marido com a secretária, eles vivem em casas diferentes, mas sem que os demais saibam. Kang Hye Kyung, começa a se interessar pelo tutor de natação de sua filha. Sobre influência de Song Ji Ae, já que ambos são conhecidos de boates, ele acaba ficando com Hye Kyung no estacionamento e mandam uma foto para o celular dela, a principal suspeita é Eun-Young, pois ela cita que havia ido no estacionamento entrega o celular da Hye Kyung.
Como citei mais acima, Song Ji Ae, antes de ser uma mulher rica da alta sociedade, trabalhava em uma casa noturna ao lado da irmã da Eun-Young, um dia a Eun-Young vai até essa casa e encontra a Ji Ae. Anos se passaram agora Ji Ae encontra outra vez com a Eun-Young, porém não mais como uma acompanhante noturna e sim uma mulher da elite, ela vai fazer de tudo para continuar sendo uma mulher da alta sociedade, inclusive tenta atropelar a Eun-Young.
Myung Hwa Sook, invejosa e com um falso divórcio pro seu filho adquirir benefícios em excelentes escolas e faculdade, ela tenta contrata a Eun-Young, que havia sido demitida como professora particular do filha da Yoon-Jin, mas ela descobri toda história da Hwa Sook sobre o falso divórcio e as coisas se complicam.
Na segunda parte do drama todas as respostas começam a aparecer de uma maneira frenética e muito bem bolada ou quase, tudo aquilo que a primeira parte não ofereceu, a segunda faz com êxito e primor, eleva o conceito do drama.
O drama passa a dar mais destaque ao marido da Yoon-Jin, um policial em uma alta parente e sua mãe, uma médica com muita influência e diretora geral de um hospital. Logo descobrimos que eles guardam mais do que imaginamos.
Jae Yeol, tinha um caso com irmã da Eun-Young, um caso de mais de 10 anos, mesmo quando ele se casou com a Yoon-Jin, ele continuou com ela, mas um dia ele resolveu terminar com ela, então ela pegou a filha dele, ele foi até ela e decidiu da uma basta em tudo, nisso a filha dele saiu do carro e ele deu ré e acabou atropelado a própria filha e jogou a culpa toda na irmã da Eun-Young e com ajuda de sua mãe e internou em um hospital no interior.
A trama principal é muito bem desenvolvida, os personagens são muito bons, as tramas das mães e seus maridos também são excelentes, principalmente a da Ji Ae, onde o marido dela possui duas famílias, porém ele e enganado pela outra mulher, a trama mais fraca e a da Kang Hye Kyung, uma mulher total fraca e que não sabe deixa o orgulho de lado. Todos os personagens principais possuem seu final e são bem satisfatórios. Um personagem que não posso deixar de citar e o detetive, sem ele muita coisa não teria sido resolvido, graças a sua busca pelo que é certo.
O drama deixa algumas lições:
"Mesmo que seja uma verdade que dói saber, você não pode evitá-la."
"Precisamos superar o passado, para caminhar no futuro."
E outra que é sobre o amor das mães pelos seus filhos, mesmo eles sendo os piores e o mundo se volte contra eles, elas sempre vão esta com eles, por mais errados que eles sejam.
Enfim, Secret Mother é um ótimo drama, com uma primeira parte morna, apresentando tudo e uma segunda parte mais agitada concluído tudo.
