OMG!!!! You must watch this drama because the story line is perfect. Sometime when i watching drama, i skipped a few scenes. But, I don't skip anything in this drama. I think the story line is not complicated as the other lakorns but it has plot twist (actually i already guessed it first, but my sister couldn't guess it haha). Their acting are excellent. The female lead succeeds in playing 2 roles from 1 body. I prefer the female lead from the future to the past. Beside that, i can't take my eyes off to the male lead because he is so cute especially when smiling. His smile makes my heart warm haha. The other actor and actress acting's also very good too. The female lead and male lead should act together again in the other drama. Their chemistry is so excellent. The soundtrack from this drama are so easy to remember. I really like the opening song especially when it is played during a romantic scene. At first, it's hard to find the soundtrack in spotify, but finally i found it. I think i will rewatch it again someday. I just don't like the ending (this drama is happy ending but...). I hope there is season 2 or another drama playing by the main couple. A big 100 from me to this drama if they make season 2....

Highly Recommend it!

I just finished watching "Likit Haeng Jan" and here's why I recommend it. (Especially if you like "Ruk Laek Pop" because this is similar)

It's a time travel lakorn about two girls (same actress) who have the same parents and look the same but live in two different era. The girl from the ancient era travels to the present and falls in love with the present girl's best friend. The present time girl travels to the past and falls in love with a guy who the parents of the ancient girl wanted her to marry.

The female lead in this lakorn has two different roles (present time girl/ancient time girl)

1. Present time female lead is smart, strong, bold, cute, flirty. She rarely ever loses in a fight, but when she does its because of her lust for the male lead (not kidding lmao), she makes him blush with her aggressive flirting. Ancient time girl is shy and weak but not stupid and still can think for herself.

2. Both male leads aren't arrogant and are funny, kind, and loyal. I thought I'll have the second-lead syndrome but its not possible in this drama since there's a happy ending for the two characters of the female lead, they each have their story.

3. I love time travel dramas (ancient time to present time or present time to ancient time). This lakorn did both with equal screen time. You can see the present time girl's experience in the ancient time, and the ancient girl's experience in the present time, as if I'm watching two different stories in one lakorn (but linked). I thought this since usually when there are twins or identity switch in dramas or lakorns, they always kill one of the look alike or not show one of them to us the entire time, but there's equal screen time for both here.

It was really funny and humurous even during serious times, they made me laugh. Just like every other historical drama, there are deaths but people aren't dying in a mass unreasonably like most kdramas, if someone dies then it has a good cause for the plot.

My rating is 8.5. I was going to rate it a 9 because nothing is perfect in this world, but rated it a 8.5

I tried not to spoil anything but I hope that you give this a try because its really good, I binged it in one day and not once did I feel bored. Can't believe I just stumbled upon this.

I liked this lakorn as much as I liked "Amaya" even though they're different

Great rom-com featuring a mix of Thai Boran and modern Lakorn.

Featuring a time travel element, this show added a nice twist that gave equal screen time to two story lines set in different eras. Individually, the stories were nothing new - usual villains and plot set-ups, but still, it was an enjoyable watch and they were both pretty well-executed. My only criticism is that the transition between the two eras was a little jarring for me, especially since the switch was done rather quickly after a couple of scenes.

A quick synopsis: Opal from the present era and Duangkaew from the Boran era look identical and even have the same parents and personal servant. Due to a prayer of help, they switched places on the night of a full moon. Ultimately, Opal fell in love with the man whose parents and her parents want Duangkaew to marry, and Duangkaew fell in love with Opal's best friend.

Namtarn Pichukkana is gorgeous! It is the first time I watched her, and to me, she did a fantastic job portraying the spunky, intelligent, bold Opal and the gentle, well-mannered court lady Duangkaew. Her chemistry with both male leads was great, although I was more drawn to Opal's and P'Mor's relationship. Opal was my favourite type of FL (i.e., not a simpering weak maiden) and who could resist a male lead like P'Mor. A royal doctor with exceptional warrior skills, he was a charismatic gentleman who can flirt so effectively using just words. What made it even better was that Opal had the fighting skills and bravery to match him, and she is super flirty as well in a modern, forward way. I loved watching her make P'Mor blush.

Puen Chobpradit is ADORABLE with the cutest smile! He portrayed the dignified Luang Osotworrawech (P'Mor) perfectly, and he was charismatic. His micro-expressions were on point, changing from flirty to fierce, from gentle to strong easily. Ting Kratingg, another fine-looking actor, did pretty well as PeePop, although I think the other lead actors were better.

The supporting cast was good too, and the parents of Opal and Duengkaew were hilarious. The show used sound effects well to highlight the comedic moments.

I enjoyed the music selection. Between the love songs and the fun rap, each piece fitted the scene/mood well. I was glad that I found the main ones on YouTube.

I liked learning a bit about the history of Ayutthaya, and the setting was just beautiful. I lusted after the Boran outfits - The silk clothing worn by the men and women were just so well-coordinated, and the colours were so lovely in the pastels and so rich in the brights.

It is too bad that it is so hard to find the dramas with English subtitles. I got lucky and found this gem on Telegram. You should definitely give this show a chance!

Refreshing

I really enjoy this series. This is one of the few films made in Thailand that I have really enjoyed it and felt it was sort of exciting. The acting was great and it was actually not overexaggerate which is often common today. The plot was most certainly interesting and engaging. You will get a mixture of action, comedy, romance and a little bit of mystery. All of which come together for a perfect series that will keep interviewer happy. I recommend this to anyone looking for a strong female lead with a blend of the Thailand historical culture as well as present. And if you’re looking for a good laugh with some action you will not be disappointed.

Main Male Lead and Second Male Lead both got the girl! Literally...

Story: Solid story. All the questions you ask yourself in the beginning of the drama gets answered. There aren't any plot twists that comes suddenly anywhere, and villains are thoroughly proved guilty. I find particularly cool how they highlighted Thai culture and traditions in this drama. As a non-thai, it was interesting to learn about. On another note, the writer(s) really dragged it out for the characters to find out why Opal and Duangkaew were time traveling. It got really annoying during scenes where they were trying to look for the "ingredients" of time traveling... a full moon and a painting. I appreciated the fact that they made this to where both the guys get the girl. A compromise where both couples are happy and thriving. I think it was really meaningful for them to switch in the beginning, because on top of solving the crimes, Opal was able to learn to be a little more lady-like and Duangkaew was able to learn to be a little more brave.
*Note: There's a lot of fighting scenes that I skipped over, but there were some unique moves that humored me like neck slices and elbow punches because I found it hard to believe those would actually work realistically in a brawl.
*Note: I don't like that Chome gets to escape with Henry. Sure, Henry was being the good guy helping her, but accident or not, Chome made Sadej ill and wrongly accused Opal. The writers didn't justify Henry's and Chome's relationship AT ALL, because they've had maybe 2-3 scenes together. Henry said himself that he's a sucker for beautiful women, and Chome only followed Henry because she was desperate.

Acting/Cast: I think all actors did really well. Even the villains, tbh. Props to Namtarn, I think she did really good to portray two people. Puen has a whole lot of control in his speaking. It might just be apart of the character, but he really fits the calm and composed P'Morr. I loved Krating's character, he's so cute. He was the comedic relief I needed in this drama. Best supporting actor for me goes to Gan!! He didn't get a lot of scenes, but it was always so cool and mystical whenever he was on screen. His presence and gaze were spot-on.

Music: The main theme song is really cute. I find myself always bopping my head to it and dancing during the rap part when it comes on in the beginning.

Rewatch Value: There's no need to rewatch this, since there isn't any plot holes that were left open. I don't mean this in a insulting way. I just think everything came together well in the end and one watch is good enough. Both couples end up together, it's a happy ending.

very wow just wow

to start of my review, i'm someone who is very very picky and drop dramas in a heartbeat. bpoop phaeh saniwaat is one example, and I'm seeing a lot of comparisons. This drama however,,, it's just so good. I am very speechless and I can only express my happiness watching this by squirming around like a worm and screaming with no sounds. The butterflies it gave me is tenfolds my crush gave me. It's just so wow. So good.

The acting of the actress is so amazing, I especially liked her Duangkaew acting, she's so very beautiful when she cries. Her Opal is so amazing too, flirty, funny without being annoying. Her acting is so wow because I never felt that the mc is cheating just because they have the same face, I can tell who is who just by her mannerism. Puen is so wow, he wasn't really that eye-catching at first but as the episodes go on, his acting goes a level deeper and I find myself enamored with him. Especially his smile! It's so good-looking I literally melt whenever he smiles. Krating is good, but can definitely improve, but oh wow is his acting in the realization in the first few episodes about 'Opal' being beautiful caught my heart.

Now onto the story: The story is not that deep, nor angsty nor too political. It's the perfect amount of action and fluff. I didn't get tired of it, I wanted more. The writing for MC ( + the execution) made it so beautiful. She's bubbly without being annoying, and I hate bubbly characters with my whole heart but oh my god is MC so good. Not to mention I hate HATE always crying characters (white lotus) BUT WOW is Namtarn acting so good I loved both of her characters. The MLS are so DOTING I literally melt whenever they talk to the MCS. P'Vej is doting in his words and action while still being gentlemanly, while Ppop's little touches to Duangkaew is so good too, he's always there by her side to support her the same way P'vej dotes and indulge Opal. Although I have to say Ppop is a bit lacking bc he didn't believe Duangkaew in the first place.

Just that, the catching the rebels arc made my blood boil at P'vej, HOWEVER, his acting and smiles towards Opal made my rage towards him go from "FUCK HIM !!!" to "FUCK WHY IS HE SO DOTING TOWARDS HER STILL? HE'S SHIT BUT HE'S SO GOOD ;-;"

The music weren't anything phenomenal but they're just right for the scenes.

I will definitely rewatch this in the future because wow oh wow I wanna feel love again.

Refreshing time travel drama

As compared to Thai lakorns produced few years back, I've got to say this drama had up-ed their production in Thai dramas. The drama talks about FL having 2 identical characters (one being in the present and one in the past), which switched places (not bodies!) and how they go along with each other lives of different eras. The story looks slightly more into when she time travelled back to Ayutthaya era (but definitely still number of scenes in the present day).

The drama does not over-exaggerates. The drama plot went with "go with the flow" type of feel. It was a mix laughter, and also exciting plot with ofc some sad scenes (not those type of "force-to-breakup", but more into just sad it had to be that way). The drama had showed some Thai cultural and traditional items which had enlighten me. Very pretty and interesting. Great drama if you're looking of something new rather than the usual slap-kiss lakorn.

Acting/Cast: Both ML FL and sub characters incorporated well. It's actually my first time seeing these actors' dramas and I might say their acting is REAL good. It felt so real when they were speaking, by means of their speed and tone.

Music: Cute and matching even though I don't understand Thai (goes the same as K-dramas) but you can feel the music flows with the show.

Rewatch value: I'd consider watching probably when there's no new drama to watch and I would like to rewatch a drama. Nothing particular or meant that the drama is not good, just that the drama plot may not have any specific OOMPH story line that super excites me to rewatch anytime soon. But the drama is indeed a good watch.

BEST PERIOD DRAMA

MUST WATCH!!! I really like P Namtarn so I started watching her drama. This is a gem. Typical switch bodies drama but she portrayed it very well. From cool police to a court lady, her acting amazed me. I cried in many scenes. Her chemistry with P'Morr made me enjoy this more. I'm going to watch his lakorns after this. They should be paired again. Hoping that there would be Season 2 with the main couple. The OST too is really cool, the rap and the love song during sweet scenes. I love Thai Ancient Lakorns. If you like Bhuppae Sunniwat and Nueng Dao Fah Diew, this one is for you.

Adorable time travel drama

I watched this because i love time travel dramas and i just finished watching Majurat.. starting the female lead, after finishing in less than i week, i am looking for dramas staring the male lead too [am i the only one who thinks he looks like BOF Lee Min Ho?]
What really makes the drama work is the love story between the modern girl Opal and the Boran era doctor.
You could say she traveled hundreds of years the meet her match ;]
Its obvious they were riding the Bupp S wave, but the drama has it's own attributes, the ending set up for a season 2 and I think seeing the doctor and cop BF switch places would be a fun twist.

Sweet and strong couple

Brief, reasons to watch this lakorn:

- A strong, smart, funny and super cute fl
- A strong, shy and super sweet ml
- A couple that fight together and flirt from the beginning to the end!
- Parents who are longtime friends and more than happy to see their children together
- No obsessive sl

Ok, there's a second couple too, tho I didn't get really attached to the actress' second character. But they're ok, the guy did a good job, and the actress is the same so you can't help to admire how she played both so well. It's just that personally I'd forget about them when I have such a perfect main pairing and characters, so... let's just say it's my personal preference.

Anyway, highly recommend (:

Known yet interesting story!

I had to jump hoops to get the subbed version! But it was worth the watch.
STORY: TYPICAL BODY SWITCH STORY, but executed well.
ACTING: the FL did a great job, be it; the modern crackpot or the tradional homey gal. Her acting will crack u up.
Main ML, his gentle shy acting was apt for the plot.
The second ML, can improve his acting. I felt hot evertime i saw him, he was sweating profusely, thailand must have very hot climate.
Music: the theme song had a nice ring to it!
Overall: GO FOR IT!!!
