I don't usually watch Thai lakorn but because of perth I watched this show

Truthfully I don't watch Thai lakorn I don't find them interesting may be because of barrier language and have to search so much.
But since Perth acted as guest role of younger SIAHA I watched this show on Netflix with vpn I went to that extent to watch it . I really enjoyed storyline actors are so good and as always perth played young siaha(villian) role so well you can understand why he become villian his sufferings . No wonder perth got praised by thai fans for it even those who were not his fans. I love actress she is so cute .this show is making me think I should watch more lakorn shows

this is one of my favorite lakorn ever!!
i love the chemistry between great n kao and i really love their moments together. their romantic, funny, innocent and cuteness made me melt. i love their character here, the FL is so funny and cute while the ML's character looks so cool and gentle as a cop. and also, i love the second lead couple because their chemistry is so cute!
the story is not anything new, this is a story about slap n kiss and fake marriege like another lakorn. but i never watch another lakorn like this before, about hate n love relationship or marriege contract as cute, sweet, and funny like this before. i always laugh and cry in every episode lol but i enjoyed it so much.
honestly, this is my first lakorn that i never skip every scene of them. and also i really love the song!
i totally recommend this lakorn to anyone who loves slap&kiss or fake marriege lakorn. or to anyone who looking for romcom lakorn, you will definitely fall in love with this lakorn.
i hope great n kao will have another lakorn project to be paired again.

Man oh man I absolutely loved this lakorn! It was honestly one of the most refreshing and well done lakorns I’ve seen from Ch3 in years. Although the storyline itself is not anything new, the way they went about it and the way it was directed and produced was very nice and refreshing. The main couple had such amazing chemistry which I was totally surprised about! Their romantic and comedic chemistry together was totally on point. They were one sweet and funny couple and let me tell you THEY HAD MULTIPLE REAL KISSES!!! Woohoo hahaha The love story between the leads developed so realistically in my opinion. They were two people going through a hard time that gradually grew close and leaned on each other for support and fell in love with one another. The progression between them was good and the story did not drag. The female lead really stole the show in this lakorn. Her character was so relatable and funny but was also someone who had her own struggles in life. Kao did a fantastic job taking her role and making it her own. She really was the perfect choice to play Suam! As for the male lead, I think he was also such a great character who also had his own problems in life. One thing I loved about his character was how he was so respectful and protective of the female lead. Although many people around him were constantly bad mouthing the female lead, he always disregarded them and made his own opinions up about her and her behavior. He did have one little moment where he kind of went a little crazy but that’s expected in lakorns haha. Great did an amazing job playing Officer Danurut and his acting went well with Kao’s over the top character. Overall I would totally recommend this lakorn to anyone in the mood for a nice romcom type of drama who is also in the mood for some hints of drama. It was a great mixture of both <3

I mainly watch dramas for the story-line. To be honest, this drama was a little more than just okay. I have to admit, the most interesting part was't the romance, or the two leads. It was a cohesion of years of mystery coming to light. I really like the fake marriage trope so the leads' romance was frustrating, yet cute.

Overall, Great acted very nice as did the female lead. I liked their acting. I liked the mischievous girl / strict cop angle. That was fun to watch. The cop warning his wife not to do anything illegal when she leaves the house lol.

What I didn't like is the nong sao, but I understand there must be a cray b*a*ch in a lakorn. She is it. Her husband also is the male version lol. Match made in heaven.

There were some things that did not wrap up very well, or were ignored, but I can live with that. Great and his FL as well as the 2nd leads, made this nice to watch. The crime parts were good too. The criminals and "bad people" were actually the best actors here. I also liked the supporting village people. They really cared for their neighbours, despite inside fighting. That was endearing to see.

I would recommend this.

I saw a promo for this lakorn on youtube once and fell in love with the storyline I saw in those few seconds, however I looked everywhere but couldn't find the subbed version anywhere, after finally finding it I decided to start watching it. I spent two days infront of my computer screen, and watched all 18 episodes.

The acting was very good, the leads did an amazing job. It was very well balanced, every time the story got too heavy or sad they found a way to throw in a funny moment or two. The storyline itself was very well written, there were few unexpected twists and turns, no plot holes, everything was well explained in last few episodes. They portayed relationships so amazingly, and had it all bromance, romance, family love and love and respect between teammates and co-workers

There was so much effort put into casting, the younger versions of characters really looked like the older versions ( Direk's characters really looked alike and Perth had wuite few similar futures to Chai ( the actor who plays Sia Ha, not to be confused with ChunChai).
I

-SPOILERS AHEAD-

This is where I'll discuss some major plot points, if you don't want the content to be spoiled, stop reading here.

This lakorn made me cry six times: when Kom died (watching him talk that kid out of suicide then doing it himself broke my heart, and watching his wife and his child made me cry even more, and to not even mention seeing how broken the Inspector and Rut were), when Suam told Rut about her "dad", when Rut asked Suam for divorce, when Suam met her actual dad and when they dug up his remains, sixth being when Sia Ha saw Chai's ghost.

The fake dad or Singh made my skin crawl, he was a disgusting human, if he can even be called that, not to mention being a total psycho, when he laughed while telling them what he did to Oil, it made me want to strangle him.

Sia Ha and Chuchai almost brought me to tears, especially when Chai was remembering their past, it's so sad how much Chai actually loved Sia Ha and cared for him, when the other was not able to feel it back. When he saw him in prison it broke my heart, the fact that he still couldn't realize he did wrong.
Even though he was supposed to be the main villan, I couldn't hate him that much, seeing how broken he was and obviously sick, he had imagined being a saint and helping all of those poor people, while he was just pure evil.

I hated Su wayyy more then her father, she made me sick.

What I liked the most however, was everything that was going on between Sara, Neung, Suam and Rut, Rut's and Sara's relationship, when that one reporter called Rut Sara's partner and seeing how much he was missing him after he disappeared brought tears to my eyes, Neung and Suam making up and going against Da and Su made me so happy and their interractions were everything, the small details also made me really happy, like when Sara asked Suam if she's okay after they saw the other two together, or when Rut was mad that Neung (of whom he thinks as of nong) was staying with Sara, Rut and Suam teasing Sara after he got together with Neung, I just loved it all.

I also really appreciate that they didn't make Sara stereotypical friend who MUST fall in love with main female lead, but instead they made him a caring friend and showed that girls and boys can be real friends.

Secondary characters made the show all better: Way being a proud trans, the Snow White team members being adorable and badass when they are together,Teerak being the biggest shipper ever and of course Bu I loved him for beating Singh up and also Nat, he was so adorable.

It was simply put amazing, 10/10 recommend.

Fun Rom-Com Done Perfectly, Thai Style

So I finally got around to watching this lakorn after so many recommendations, and I totally agree with the positive reviews! Despite some dark drama like murders, ghosts and human trafficking, this show has infectious, feel-good energy, thanks to the cast of characters that one cannot help but root for. The supporting characters are so over the top and at times ridiculous that you cannot help but laugh. Had this been a K-drama or C-drama, I would have called it cheap humor, but somehow it works in a Thai drama. I have nothing bad to say about the cast, and I enjoyed the chemistry between Kao and Great. They play off each other so well, and the dialogue and interactions between them just flow so smoothly. It's definitely a well-paced romance that is fitting to the plot. I love watching the sweet moments between them and how the sparks begin to fly as their relationship develops.

I really like how the show incorporates natural skinship between the couples, family, and friends. It is not always about hot steamy scenes for the couples, and I appreciate watching the characters offer comforting hugs and closeness via hands touching or someone's head leaning on another's shoulder. The human touch is essential in a relationship, and the show does well showcasing this.

Kao really sparkles in this show, and you can see her acting range as Suam as she displays various emotions. She is such a natural beauty, and visually, she is such an excellent match to Great. They make a gorgeous-looking couple, especially with their height difference. Great portrays Rut, an intelligent, fair, but tough cop role very well, and I guarantee you that he would endear himself to anyone the minute they see him smile.

The secondary couple is also amusing to watch, and they have some great scenes together. It is cute that the second female lead is so into the Korean culture, and I love how the show uses that as a plot device and weaves it in so effectively, especially during the ending when they paid homage to a K-drama that I liked.

The OST is catchy - fitting for the scenes, and I read somewhere that Kao sang the main song. The starting song is fun to listen to and lends the same tone of fun that is infused throughout the show.

Overall, it was a well-done show, and the only reason I did not rate it a perfect 10 is that there is a scene where Rut displays some physical aggressiveness towards Suam. The scene is actually very tame compared to other Thai dramas, but I do not condone any acts of aggression or abuse, especially when in the context of a male dominating a female. Still, I hope that it does not deter the few who have not watched this show. Do give it a try!

excellent & funny & old skool

It starts really funny and entertaining acting, but in the second half action and melodrama take over quite in a boring way. Actors are excellent: the main couple, the second male lead, and WOW to the supporting cast - the bunch of policemen, the aunts in the slum, the undercover agents...And the villain with his team are genius! Despite the episodes being so long, only now and then i felt like fast forwarding. A lot of handsome faces too!
Cinematography was also excellent! Nice angles, nice details...
Despite being a recent drama, it somehow seems classical.
I'd rewatch the first few episodes...

RECOMMENDED

I watched this without having any expectations since I did not know the main leads. BUT I ended up loving it. I could not stop until I finished the entire series. I gave the storyline 9.5 because there were some parts where I wished they go more in-depth, especially about the parents of both main leads and Sara, and I would have loved to know more about the rest of the spies. I gave the music 9.0 because there was no particular music that really stood out to me. But overall, it was really good! The main leads' actings were on point! I really love the dynamics between the mains and the second leads! The second leads were also really cute and I love the development of their relationship as well. I definitely recommend it!

PS: I don't know if it is just me but the female lead reminds me of Ma Si Chun (the female lead from Chinese Drama Love Me If You Dare) and the male lead reminds me of Vin Zhang (from Chinese Dramas The King's Woman and I Will Never Let You Go). I will definitely be checking out more drama from both of them.

Came for Kao Supassara, fell in love with Great Warintorn and stayed for the show!

I often forward Thai Lakorn. This was the first where I was rewinding to watch scenes again!!

Tl;Dr: Duh! Watch this show!!

Before I jump into the review, I want to share that this review is based on my experience with Thai lakorn. I am not comparing it with American, Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese or Japaneese shows.

Story - The story was quite tight and everything wrapped up so well in the end. I really liked how the villains had a believable backstory. And, I found Suam(FL) & her family's story to be compelling too. The story is about Suam (who grew up in a slum with an abusive step father) and Danurut(an upstanding police officer with his own conflicting past), and how they fall in love over the course of a contract marriage as they chase drug dealers and criminals. The SFL & SML stories were cute & adorable and I feel like the story did them justice too! There were two things that I didn't particularly like - a) the way the step father died - I wasn't convinced that the douche-bag got what he deserved. b) the fact that Su (Sia Ha's daughter & interested in the ML) heads the operations of the flesh trade - it was completely unnecessary and didn't add any value at all. Plus, it wasn't very believable. It seemed like they threw that in there as an afterthought to give her character an end. The ML's sister character was annoying, but served the plot really well.
Plus what I really loved about the story was how loyal each little group was! The residents of the slum, the police offices in the station, Snow White & dwarfs and the villains! I absolutely loved how the residents of the slum were always there was each other - through thick & thin!

Acting - I loved every actor!! Honestly, I came to this show to watch Kao Supassara after watching her in My Forever Sunshine. I loved every actor in the show! Irrespective of whether the character was lovable or atrocious, the actors really delivered. Especially the villains. I felt involved in the show right from the first minute. I felt happy, sad, shy, excited, disgusted, embarrassed & other myriad emotions as I watched this! The cast really took me on that journey. Both Kao and Great emote very well and are really good actors! The chemistry between Kao & Great was amazing! I could feel it! I believed that Suam & Danurut were perfect for each other and truly loved each other. And, when Great smiles!! OMG! My poor heart! The chemistry between the SML and SFL was pretty great too! They were so adorable!! I am going to be on the watchout for more acting from the SML actor.

The music was pretty decent, it went very well with the story and didn't sound out of place at any point. And, the songs were enjoyable and added to the story too.

Definitely rewatch-able!! I'd watch it again pretty soon, to be honest.

Overall, I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to watch a good, engaging Thai Lakorn!

This is my first review but this show jumped into my favourites list by the fourth episode and moved into number one position by the finale. While having many of the elements that are repeated in Thai dramas , this show delivered it all in a different package.
The casting was spot on , the performances were that of a true ensemble . The characters were so well drawn that even the vicious villains were multi dimensional. Each episode delivered humor ( laughed out loud), pathos, romance, sadness . There is even one scene where, reminiscent of the classic Steel Magnolias, I went from teary to laughing within a minute!!
I normally follow actors in shows and trust in their selection of projects but this time I am definitely going to pay attention to both the script writer and director. This show was one that would stand out as a fine Asian drama !!
I mean they even manage to have a scene where the arch villain gets to deliver a scathing view of the impact of poverty on women.....while staying in character!!
This is an enjoyable show on many levels and I look forward to watching again in the future. ( Of course, this is just my opinion but I do hope it gets recognized as great entertainment)

You gonna love it

•This lakron is another Thdrama which puts my high expectation toward thai entertainment.

•Started off with this lakron as the plot seems interesting. Contract marriage only to spy. But wait their was another motives too and from both the parties. The story always growing and and fast paced. Its quite different and refreshing from the other Ch3 lakrons.
The lead pair unending bickering was too fun and keeps you hooked.

•KAO as suam was perfect. Her face was cute which doesnt look like a spy, which was more appealing with the story. GREAT WARINTHON tough look was perfect for the police offcer Danarut. He was excellent until the end. PIE as neung and PARIIT as sara were too adorable. Their Korean style love story was really fun to watch. They were also best as the supporting character where they had their own story but still they were standing strong for the leads.

•OSTs were awesome. I didn’t get the subtitles but was soothing and melodious.

•Rewatch ofcourse yes!!
It would be a great weekend binge
