Hern Fa, the son of a wealthy man, is sent to live with his aunt and cousins in Bangkok after his father’s death. He stays in touch with his best friend, Suay, lying in his letters to protect her from his unhappy situation. Before a high-society event, Suay sees Hern Fa with his cousin, misinterpreting the situation and leaving in sadness. Years later, Hern Fa, now a pilot, crashes near Suay’s rural clinic.
