Nath Phuwanai was a Thai leading actor. He studied political science at San Sebastian College in the Philippines. He later worked in the Ministry of the Interior, eventually becoming the Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. He first began acting in charity dramas while serving as a distric officer.

He was married to actress Nittaya Panathuek. Together, they had four children, including actress Tu Jarusiri Phuwanai. He passed away in 2025 at the age of 79.
