Kamen Rider Kabuto (2006)

Both have main riders based on the Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle. Both the protagonists are cheeky, Stronger in a more playful way while Kabuto is a very self confident rider. They are different as well as kabuto is the about super speed and stronger about electricity.

Kabuto's main writer Shoji Yonemura took heavy inspiration of Donbrothers' main writer Toshiki Inoue's writing style. Also Inoue is a frequent secondary writer in Kabuto. In terms of tone, atmosphere and plot progression, Kabuto is probably the closest tokusatsu to Donbrothers alongside Changéríon, despite having a darker setting.
