Takeshi, an Italian restaurant chef, and Ruri could have been lovers, but Takeshi was too comfortable with their current relationship that he chose to stay best friends with her. Now, Ruri is engaged to another man and Takeshi is deep in regret. He runs through the night of Tokyo to tell her his true feelings before it's too late, but right as he stands in front of Ruri, an unfortunate accident takes his life away. Except for Aibu Saki, I had no ideia of how was the other actors’ acting but they left quite a good impression. Ok, not the best. I sometimes found Daisuke Maki’s face way to expressionless, like he was not feeling it at all. Aibu was also not at her best, unfortunately. But the story itself was really good. It did not have that slow development I recently watched in some Japanese love movies and the whole idea of the story was really cute. The way Tanaka Takeshi felt for the girl and watched over her trough that many years is really something that melts your heart, even more when you see that nothing (really nothing) can stop him from trying to protect her and caring for her.
A love story that can bring you to tears without having to make you wait in unnecessary moments.

Good movie but unimpactful
●There is a phrase in my country “every man's heart way is through his stomach” but my opinion is “every person's hearts way is via the stomach regardless of gender”If we eat a dish made with love even after a long time it will be imprinted on our memory.
●This movie had many elements in the story inclusive of amnesia, accidents, soul-switch, delicious food cooking, Piano playing, childhood friendship, and wedding. Despite having all such crazy stuff it is subtle and calm.
●Nothing is overdone and tragedy, romance, drama everything is well incorporated. Just like a meal consisting of various dishes and everything is delicious and enjoyable.
●Acting is average. No one impresses actually. But I really liked the FL and her way of savoring each dish. She was truly happy eating those dishes.
●Story is simple and sends up a message If You love someone and afraid to lose, be brave to confess if you can't let go.
The music is isnt great. and rewatch is not possible for such an unimpactful movie.
