Two people end up working together who live together and have known each other throughout their lives. In both dramas one of the characters has feelings for the other for a very long time. Both couples end up working in the same firm but keep it a secret that they know each other. Both couples develop a relationship and keep also that a secret. Both dramas take place in the media/publishing world.
The biggest difference is that "Pinocchio" has as an additional topic a crime-case while "Romance is a Bonus Book" only focuses on the slice-of-life topic.

It's been a while since I watched RIABB so I don't really remember the details but there was a wedding.
And then the leads did cohabitate together for a while.
And there's also the discovering one's passion part.

both are noona romances, both female leads are +35 year olds with a daughter and their ex husband cheated on them. and they both also work as a "housekeeper" for the male lead...

Both FLs are librarians in an older woman/younger man romance. They both lie about something in romance is a bonus book it's about her background

Very similar vibe in terms of romance, vibe and chemistry between leads
- Deals with an age gap
- Deals with differences in financial situation between leads
- MATURE AND UNDERSTANDING RELATIONSHIPS
- cute and dedicated MALE LEADS LMAO
Though story wise and how their romance plays out is very different but I can assure you'll get the same feels from both the dramas
- And the wait for them to get together is WORTH IT!

Very similar in pacing, also has office-based romances, mature conversations, complex characters with heavy traumas searching for a way to become better in life.

Both feature a couple in their thirties who have mature and respectful attitudes towards relationships. The single parent stigma is addressed throughout each drama and each has well-rounded supporting characters. They have similar pacing and atmosphere.

Both dramas are having the same message: when you loose everything, don't give up, there will be a door that opens up. The only difference is that Bonus book finds that with publishing books and Touch is dealing about make-up. Also both have a couple that has an age gap, with Bonus book it is the female that is a bit older than the male, with Touch it is the male that is older than the female. Both pairings work with each other, in both dramas the male leads are the boss, the female leads are their employee. Generally both give off a very similarish feeling.

While Romance Is a Bonus Book is about adults rather than college students, the dramas are similar because:

*both take place in the fall and really emphasize the autumn vibes,

*both feature a very sweet, caring, and thoughtful ML who does kind things for and takes care of the FL even before they are a couple,

*and both focus on a long-time friends to lovers story with a love triangle.

I rarely get SLS for 2fls but these 2 dramas are like that. both mls are in love with their friend who doesn't know it
one gets married and the other rushes to a marriage just so they're not lonely while never having courage to confess and win over the obv better man who is their friend

first of all! the amazingly deep dialogues and theories about life from each character perspective that really sticks with you.
-slow paced with gruadually blooming romance
-deals with problems about family as well as survival in today's world
according to me both the dramas give a very comforting theme where instead of pining over any kind of villanizm and waiting for a typical hero-villain knockout, u just sit back and relax while watching it. your mind is stimulated in a very deep way which makes u internally satisfied
it has heart touching dialogues and carry a similar slice of life theme

1. Both the female leads have humble beginnings who are trying to sustain themselves on their own as well as are providing for their families simultaneously.
2. The leads in both the drama have childhood connections.
3. Workplace romance where the male leads are in a professionally superior position and are still trying to support the female leads both financially and emotionally as much as they can.
4. The sub plots of other coworkers comes off as equally impactful and touching as the main storyline.
