This is the second Strongberry movie I have watched, and so far I am beyond impressed. I hope they keep creating wonderful projects like this. :)

I understand why this was made, but I don't think I like it.
This story about a man reminiscing on a past love is an important story that we need to hear. We need a wider variety of LGBT people in our media and that include older people. However, I don't think showing this story through the metaphor of a grown man seeing a naked teenager is the way to do it?It's definitely a conversation starter and I would love to talk about it to anyone who has watched it. I think this is an acquired taste in short films. I completely understand this film, I stand by it's message but I am not completely sold on the metaphor that they used to show this message. We should not be putting burdens or memories of parents on a child's shoulder.

"Can I ... Can I carry you on my back?"
"You know ... I'm getting married soon. But it has been so hard for me these days. I should ... I should get married... I have to soon ... but ..."This is not a story about a middle-aged man lusting after a boy. This is a story about a man, who once was young, who denied himself his chance with his first love, who is feeling the societal pressures to get married -- who mourns his loss and tries to say good-bye to what once could have been.
Even though this film is short, it's slow. What we hear is not what Jin Tae says -- do not listen with your ears, listen with your heart and your mind; what you can feel and know about him.
Everything is subtle and muted; the excellent melancholic acting, the autumn colours, the quiet sounds -- the story's in the details.
This film will not be for everyone; it's been hard for me to "get it" too -- but maybe you'll find yourselft a bit more open the next time a middle-aged queer person tells their story.

This short movie was so boring that I had to drop it after just 9 minutes and a half.
Unfortunately, this short film failed to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving me with a sense of disappointment and disengagement. From the outset, the movie struggled to establish any semblance of chemistry between its characters, a crucial element for a narrative to resonate with its audience. The interactions felt forced and contrived, robbing the viewer of a genuine connection with the story. The storylines themselves were equally uninspiring, lacking the depth and creativity needed to capture and maintain interest. The narrative arc seemed predictable, and the pacing was sluggish, making the initial 9 minutes and a half feel like an eternity. The absence of any meaningful character development or intriguing plot twists left the film feeling flat and unremarkable.
Furthermore, the cinematography and visual elements, crucial in conveying emotion and enhancing storytelling, failed to compensate for the lackluster narrative. The visuals seemed mundane and lacked the flair needed to elevate the overall viewing experience.
In conclusion, the short movie left much to be desired. It struggled to engage the audience, falling victim to weak character dynamics, a bland storyline, and uninspired visuals. While the concept may have held potential, the execution ultimately fell short of creating a compelling and memorable cinematic experience. For future endeavors, a focus on character depth, a more inventive narrative, and attention to visual aesthetics could greatly contribute to a more satisfying viewer experience.
