My personal opinion as well as a question ⁉️

The prince of tennis is a drama worth watching
It's the collection (of realisation of friendship, passion and goal ) , comedy, fierce competition and slight touch of love .
Here's my question: Does this drama really have only 40 episodes ? Because here it shows that it should be 42 eps... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .... ....
.... .... .... .... ... ... ... ... ... .. .... ... ... .... ... ... ... ... .. .. .... ... ... .. ... ... .... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .. ... .. ... ... ... .. .... .... ... ... .. .. ....

Definitely enjoyed it way better than I imagined. When I first saw it in dramacool the first episode I fell in love with the first episode. The cast was excellent I really loved Peng Yu Chang as Lu Xia! My other favourite characters were Jia Le, Zhuo Zhi, Siyang and the dad. The "female" lead's character is a bit annoying to me. I mean it's expected. The matches were fun to watch I was actually nervous with the team every time they were nervous. I wished they were longer though. They could have gotten rid of those flashbacks and 'inspirational' moments for more match scenes. I really love this drama one reason is I was able to watch a lot of tennis matches compared to the other dramas. This is one of the best school Chinese drama I have to watch hope there will be season 2 of Prince Tennis can't wait for it to release.

I've watched this series 5x and i love it. I have no complaints except for two things : I hate the female Qi Ying. Why is she always there? She should be on the sidelines. It's unfair for others who doesn't have an aunt coaching Tennis to use her advantage. I mean, when Lu Xia said that nobody should come inside, everyone didnt except her. She's not even a gf! When they have a team dinner, she's there. She's always making Lu Xia food and it's bad for a man to refuse her. Luxia has to wait for her to go home so he can go. ??? Her clinginess irks me. She's a stalker and a creep.
Secondly, Lu Xia's smile creeps me out.

Better than Expected

I just happened to see the trailer for this on Netflix and decided to check it out. The actors did a great job portraying their characters. There is one female lead that I found annoying at times but thats just my personal opinion and didn't stop me from enjoying the show. There are predictable moments especially towards the end. However, thats only to be expected since it is obvious who the winners will be in the end. Even when I knew what was about to happen, the show was still was able to keep me wondering if something unexpected would happen. Also, there were some scenes that weren't tied to the main storyline that I felt were boring. That being said the interactions between the players and the action scenes at the games were entertaining enough to overlook the negatives. Overall in my opinion it is an enjoyable show with a good message as well.

Wow! This "Prince of Tennis" drama series is the "best drama which I've watched in terms of sports, friendship, youthful innocence, high school crushes, and other relationships in everyday's life. This drama can relate to each one of us, in another way.
= I played tennis and my love and interest in this drama series make me subscribe to Netflix so, I can watch its 40 episodes!
= Peng Yu Chang as Lu Xia and Ireine Song as Qi Ying brought justice to their roles, with deeper passions and emotions.
= Its storyline is about friendship + sport's teamwork and their journey in completing their dreams and aspirations in their lives.
= The main and secondary casts each face a variety of difficulties that they work together to overcome and triumph on it.
= This is a beautiful drama on the love and passion for tennis games and how the casts struggled to be trained and to focus on each sporting competition. That there is always a lesson to learn here: "Nothing is Impossible for those who Persists!"
= I highly recommend this "Prince of Tennis" to be watch and re-watch, especially for those with a deeper love for tennis games
= And hopefully - we look forward to its Season 2 and to continue watching the development of the same casts who were fitted to act for their roles with a perfect re-creation of correct emotions.
= We all truly enjoy this highly addictive drama series of "Prince of Tennis"

Tennis with ninja moves

I liked the story and especially the main character.
However... there were 3 things that really bothered me - the 'almost romantic' interest should have been left out. The way it was brought in, was just embarrassing. I skipped forward every time the girl appeared.

The second problem I have with this series is the sound. It is as if all the voices have been dubbed over and the viewer ends up with lots of unnecessary breathing, sighing and extremely annoying eating sounds. Also the camera would be 5+ metres from the character, but the voice sounds like it is right by the camera.

The 3rd problem was the makeup on the characters. They are high school boys, spending time in the sun on a daily basis, but all of their faces are made to be unnaturally white. At times the contrast between their necks and their faces are stark.

Okay story to watch once

This would have been a much better story without the female lead. She went from being a fan to being a stalker in the first three episodes and then just continued throughout the drama. It got so I had to either mute her lines or just fast forward. She was so annoying. She talked like a toddler. She was supposed to be a high school student. There were just too many scenes when she appeared where she shouldn't have been; like running onto the court when Lu Xia got hurt.; or talking to the captain of the team about Lu Xia being a regular member of the team. And wanting him to put on his team uniform when he would be wearing soon for practice or a match. She pouted like a child until he gave in. He couldn't turn a corner without her lurking there. I know this is all about entertainment and fantasy, but it really got to be too much. A little common sense is not a bad thing either.

She was the coaches' niece, so she obviously knew better. I've watched the anime version numerous times and never get tired of it. The female protagonist in the anime comes off as cute and likeable. She remained behind the scenes more but was still a large but not overbearing part of the story.

The remaining cast was OUTSTANDING. It was really a wonderful group of young handsome men who shined with their acting skills. One thing that was a little bit annoying about the male protagonist was that he was constantly drinking a sweet soda (looked like Fanta) throughout. My teeth hurt just watching him guzzle down those soft drinks one after another. If it were the real deal his teeth would have possibly rotted out before the end of the filming of this drama. But he played his character well and delivered a really good performance. The coach, the dad, and all the other characters and tennis teams were really fun to watch, and they gave great performances.

Finally bear in mind that this is my own honest take on this production. You may not agree and that's okay. I respect your opinion and hope that you in turn can respect mine. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!!

so so good

such a well done sports drama. the storyline was almost perfect except for the ending, but that is just mostly me. i think the characters were so well written that i loved all of them in their own right. the romance part of the drama… is doable at best. it wasn’t as bad as i thought if i were to be honest. i think the love interest was annoying, yes, but ive seen so much worse that i think it wasn’t actually that bad. i really want a season 2 but i doubt that it will ever done. definitely, the ending was left unfinished but it didn’t feel like it. even if there will never be a season 2 i think the ending was done pretty good.

such a good sports drama if you’re looking for one, def recommend ;))

best adaptation for Japanese Manga Prince of Tennis

I have watched the Japanese Manga Prince of Tennis before way back 2007.
I love the story and characters then. I love Tezuka Kunimitsu and Fuji Syusuke.

And here it is! The Chinese adaptation of Prince of Tennis.
It's the best! Just like in the Japanese Manga, I love the characters of the captain Mu Si Yang, Zhou Zhi (my favorite), Qiao Chen and Tang Jia Le.
I always waiting for Si Yang to smile but seen it only on the last episode. And I love it seeing him smile for his team.
I adore their (Mu Si Yang and Zhou Zhi's friendship),
For me, Si Yang and Zhou Zhi are the best tennis player. I'm waiting for their match, for them to play together. Love seeing them together.

Right now, I'm watching it again!

Hoping that there will be a season 2 and 3 for this drama.
I love seeing these actors again playing tennis.
