The leads have great chemistry, there's some really interesting imagery, and several of the actors do well with dual roles. The idea of a body-jumping serial killer is also a solid idea for a series. And that subplot that turns the poor-girl-meets-rich-guy story into something more sinister is flat-out brilliant.Unfortunately the writers take this whole promising mix and sacrifice it on the altar of edginess.
I'm not saying this as someone with no tolerance for darkness in movies or tv; I often enjoy dark themes, gory effects, and tragic twists. I actually spend more time watching horror movies than I do dramas, so something with Possessed's genre mix should be right up my alley.
The problem here isn't the mash-up of love story and tragic thriller. It's that the series establishes one tone for its first three quarters and then devolves into a pointless, mean-spirited mess. Once you realize how far the show's willing to go, there's very little suspense. Knowing that nearly every situation will end in the worst possible way turns the final quarter of the series into a slog fest. There's plenty to be said for raising the stakes, but that's not what this show does. Instead it takes its stakes and just chucks 'em, flinging those poor stakes hard enough to distance the viewer from nearly everything in the show worth caring about. With that kind of random momentum, it's no wonder the last episode lands with a thud.
"Saving the world" is not a concrete enough goal to carry me through that final showdown. Good stories are about more specific things like characters and relationships. Watching Detective Kang struggle through to save a few comrades or his love interest would have been riveting even if things didn't turn out how I wanted. But having him just trudge on (because that's what a hero does!) turned a great show into my biggest drama series disappointment yet.

At first, I thought that it will be a nice series but it was not at all. This scenario was the worst. Seriously did the writer get pleasure since he/she write this scenario? Quite disappointment, don't watch it. Actors and actresses were nice but what could they do with this bad story? Lol.
Seiously what did I watch? ???? ???? All people killed by the ghost around. Even there was no happy ending. I cannot find any words to express how it was bad.
For a second if you thought of watching this, please change your decision.
Have a nice day to y'all.

Do Yourself A Favor and Stop Watching at the End of the 7th Episode
Then, make up your own story from that point on and I guarantee that it will be better than what you will suffer through in episodes 8-16. The blame falls largely on the writer as the cast did an admirable job with what they were given. Thank goodness for fast forwarding ability else I would have quit watching along the way. I kept hoping for a satisfying ending to justify the hours I spent watching the last 9 episodes and none arrived. Seriously, DO watch the first 7 episodes and then just find another show to watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Glad I read the spoilers first
So I ended up adding this to my watch list on Netflix and was curious as to why it got a low rating. Usually when I come across a low rating Kdrama I will watch it to see if it was as bad as other people said it was.I did come across a few low scoring dramas and I enjoyed those.
Somehow I wish I didn't read some of the reviews that contained spoilers and somehow I'm glad I did. I hate when I come across a drama and is in love with the cast's character choices that make them enjoyable as a character only to have them die. Several reviews stated that the side main characters die. I now can't bring myself to finish watching this.
I was thinking about dropping this drama anyway because about the 7th episode, the drama starts to go awry. It turns into a lovey dovey drama that really kills the vibe for me. The second villain was already killing my mood because of the constant grinning/smiling and the senseless killings that was starting to take place. Plus he was able to jump out of a high floor building and land on his feet and pick up a guy like he was a piece of paper...That to me had me rolling my eyes and asking myself is this where this drama is going?
I did like the two main characters. The main male lead was just so adorable for some odd reason but as several reviewers stated the majority of the side characters die so what's the point of finishing this drama?

Decepcionada/disappointed
Fiquei muito decepcionada com o final da série. Eu estava assistindo e curtindo a série até que decidiram matar todo o elenco! Qual é a necessidade disso? A série tinha tudo para ser ótima!I was very disappointed with the series finale. I was watching and enjoying the series until they decided to kill the entire cast! What is the need for this? The first 12 episodes are great. Then the story begins to delineate. They could have finished each character's story. There was no need to kill the entire cast! The impression it gave is that the director/writer/screenwriter got lazy! The series had everything to be great!
