Xixi was adopted by Duan Ran's family when her mother died when she was 9. Her dad left her and her mom working inUSA. She's been friends with Ran and they fight all the time. They were regarded as siblings so they both adhere to this. As adults they rivaled being the CEO of Rui. There's a lot of Johnny carrying Jinyan in this show which are so cute that I shipped them immediately.I love their teamwork when they saved the company from Cheng (former owner of Rui) evil plan to sabotage Rui.
MUSIC background is sometimes distracting as it is sometimes too LOUD.but they fixed this around ep 14 or so. Yay.
Ep 12 and w8ing for next episodes on IQIYI. IMMEDIATELY subscribed as soon as I saw this show was on.
Ep 23 first kiss happened and more love adventures
I hated Duan Ran's mom even after her acceptance of Xixi. The ending was happy but the kiss is more passionate in the earlier episodes

Same old, with some fun and cuteness
This drama is definitely nothing extraordinary, but it does make you cheer on the main leads.The leads are very cute and funny, and you actually see them grow whenever they face difficulties and it's nice, when you see people learn from their mistakes.
Xixi, the lead gal, starts very cute and very idealistic. She is naive and knows nothing about business (but do remember that while she has some practical experience, she has none in management or any former backgroundin business) which leads to mistakes and many insecurities, and that makes her relatable. I caught myself thinking, what would I do in her shoes, with her knowledge and monetary assets? And that made me be more sympathetic with her character.
Duan Ran, was so arrogant in the beginning, that I actually did not like him or his treatment of the FL. I think he contributed to a lot of her insecurities, however he does change and becomes one of her big supporters, and that is cute and lovable. He is a very lovable guy and you can't help liking him in the end.
The rest of the cast was great, I was engaged in their side stories and lives, and that is another positive point, because it kind of complements the main story.
The villains and their tricks are quite realistic and definitely something that could happen so I was happy with how grounded they were with the plot.
It's a cute, business drama, that is worth of your time, even if you have to fast-foward some parts!

What This Drama is All About
This is gonna be my first drama review ever. This drama really made me expect a lot and even though I was still waiting for more (development), I finally understood what this drama is all about.I was dragged into watching this drama because of the chemistry Duan Ran and Xi Xi had in the first few episodes. It made me want more that I literally spent money to watch in VIP.
I was fascinated about the live streaming industry and it was one of the main highlights of the drama. I was shocked at first because the drama had 47 episodes in total, but I waited PATIENTLY every night. I really wanted Duan Ran and Xi Xi to have more scenes together because I thought this drama was all about romance. I was wrong. This drama is about life - family, friendship, business, love and youth. It was about starting business and facing problems. I was disappointed when I realized the main leads won’t have alot of cringeworthy scenes but I still watched anyway. This was a first for me. As alot of viewers may have noticed, the characters said alot of advice and made alot of stupid decisions. Well, it made this drama more real and even though the story progresses slow, the lessons were very inspiring.
Overall, I was amazed how this drama focused on every aspect of life without focusing too much on the love story. I still have to watch the last episode after a few hours but this drama is good anyway.
The original title “We Are Young” tells what the drama is all about. You may experiences problems in love, work, friendship, and family but it’s okay because you are young. I have to say the acting of the characters were on point! I’ve watched alot of dramas and the actors here really justified their roles well.

the plot is totally rotating around the changes in e-commerce industry. Competition, Passion, different ideas to win the race was shown to in a good way.
The characters in the industry were given some important role and their acting was to it.
some characters outside were more like attached only to drag the drama.
the romance between the leads were sometimes heart racing and again unrelated sister brother relation turning into love is again shown neatly.
the misunderstandings and coming together is more like dragging.
overall its a drama to know more about e-commerce industry but i felt bit boring in other parts.
i felt making in less number of episodes would have yield more effective drama.

Simple and realistic drama with some exciting twists, then it's a must watch drama
I'm really enjoying watching this drama. As far acting is considered, all the casts are very sincere and up to the mark, for me especially main male lead father was very promising. Overall it was a great experience watching this drama. I loved the lead actors and their chemistry. Instead of showing one or two hassles that happens in each and every field, this drama shows much more in deeper. I can say this drama portrays parent-child bond, romance, relationships, friendship, betrayal, rivalry. Thanks for making such dramas????Was this review helpful to you?
DEFINITELY A HIDDEN GEM
Was just randomly browsing for a drama to watch under the completed list on iQiyi, have just recently finished quite a few “highly raved” dramas that ended recently so while waiting for other dramas to finish airing I decided to settle on this series first.I was honestly quite doubtful seeing the ratings online but still started on it. AND I MUST SAY THAT I NEVER REGRET WATCHING ALL 47 EPISODES. I swear that both leads effortlessly bring out their characters acting in the series! Every episode flowed out smoothly. Maybe because there were many episodes that I felt that there isn’t loopholes in the story(?)
Some might find that 47 episodes were too long but I think it’s just nice for this story from the beginning till end. I liked the romance, the family relationship and of course the business part of this drama. I think this is one of the very few dramas that really has the “business feel” to it. The hardships where one has to go through to achieve their dreams; to never give up and of course, many other hurdles .
Do not worry about the lack of romance in this drama, you’ll have the “jealous partner act”, “ sacrifice for your partner act”. You’ll never get enough of them.
It’s a really great series to watch. And I will re-watch if I ever have extra time!

Young, ambitious, tireless, in love
I'll start by saying that this show is not a love story. It's the story of a couple of young people who have graduated from university and embarked on careers. A story of conquering heights, finding themselves, hard work, survival in tough business conditions, resilience, creativity and challenges.Of course, there is also love. Where would you go without love? But it's not the main focus of the script and remains in the background. While in the background, however, it is pure, supportive, carrying and strong.
Outside of the business tricks, it's a refreshing change that no one does anyone's tricks, female and male rivals behave with dignity, friendship means something, and there's no morbid infatuation with the subject of one's love.
Also a refreshing change is a strict but supportive parent. I envied the main characters for having such father :)
The series also showed me a whole business that I had practically no idea of. It's about e-streaming as a way of e-commerce. I really learned a lot of things that I can use outside of internet sales.

I REATCHED THIS SHOW 3 TIMES ALREADY. I LOVE THE MALE LEAD AND HIS CHEMISTRY WITH THE FEMALE LEAD.THE STORY WAS DIFFERENT THAN THE BASIC STORY SO WAS GREAT.
WHAT DREW ME IN WAS THE OVERALL CASE AND STORY LINE.

THE MALE LEAD U CANT GO WRONG WITH HIS ENDEARING ACTING SKILLS AND THE CHEMISTRY AND SKILLS HE HAS. I CAN WATCH ANYTHING HE IS IN. THE STORY OF ONLINE BUYING HAS BECOME VERY POPULAR SO WAS NICE TO SEE A DIFFERENT TAKE ON THE SITUATION.

Pleasant and realistic drama, brought to life by a very cute CL
I've watched first this drama for Johnny Huang!! I love this actor and once again, he gives here an exceptional performance with Wu Jin Yan.But I quickly liked this drama.
It's a realistic, well-written series who describ the business of streaming e-commerce platforms.
It's not very focused on romance, the storyline is mainly based on the company, its difficulties, its challenges, the employees,...
This series is not addictive, with a good clifhanger at the end of each episode :) but we get attached to the characters (who are not black or white in a Manichean way).
Hard work and perseverance, often evoked in Asian dramas, are also strongly highlighted here.
To enhance this business storyline, there is the romance between Wu Jin Yan and Johnny Wang. It is natural, without twists or tricks. Their trust and support are rare and, above all, their chemistry is exceptional. Their moments of tenderness make sparks.
The secondary romance is also very well done, with believable interactions, and fantastic actors. The development of their relationship seems natural too, although the end is not as happy as in the lead couple.
The family ties are described with subtlety, even if two characters leave me perplexed:
- the father who returns 13 years later and expects his (abandoned) daughter to open her arms to him
- The mother, who out of guilt?, refuses the relationship between her son and the girl she loves as her daughter. What responsibility does she have in a car accident, one evening of drunkenness, when she is only a pedestrian and an attendant ?
Other than that, there aren't too many clichés, no coma, or amnesia, or a pure-innocent-naive girl. ;)
The production is great and the OSTs are really excellent.
I therefore recommend this drama to all those who are interested in trade, technological developments, with a little touch of romance to embellish the story.

Would be better if it's just 16 episodes
Chanced upon this drama while looking at Johnny Huang's past work. Quite an interesting setting where you learn about how e-commerce works and all. ML and FL have a sibling-banter kind of relationship where it developed into something romantic. Overall, i have no major complains about the show EXCEPT the fact that it is way too long. It gets abit boring towards half-end of the show where we don't get a balance of work-love-friendship. It felt like the show lost its' focus towards the end. Would give higher ratings if has lesser episodes! Weak chemistry between ML and FL as well, think they are cuter when they were siblings as compared to lovers.FINAL VERDICT: can watch first half and skim through the second half of the show quickly

If you really want to learn about ecommerce industry in China...
This is the drama to watch! They did not hesitate to focus heavily on the business side of the story even to the point of repetitiveness and dragging the plot. I was pleasantly surprised at Huang Jingyu and Wu Jinyan's chemistry, they were very good together. I enjoyed many of the supporting characters, especially Yu Shi. The characters are idealized (to the extreme for Duan Ran's dad, the ultimate zen master) and there is a decided lack of vengeance/ consequences which I found frustrating. If you want to watch something that is smooth and easy with romance sprinkled in, I recommend this one.Was this review helpful to you?
Too long, repetitive
I quite enjoyed the first 1/3 of it and breezed through the remaining episodes. 47 episodes is a bit too long. They could have done half of that. Halfway, it felt like the conflicts/troubles are already repetitive and I started to get bored. Also, the whole issue with the mom is totally unnecessary. Overall, it's an ok drama. You can watch it while waiting for new episodes of currently airing dramas or you can play it in the background while working ( no need to read the subtitles, you won't miss much.
