I just thought it was going to be another robot/AI show which SCI-FI is not my personal favorite but I saw a trailer of the ML and FL and I was like "meh, this doesn't look bad at all" but it took me months to actually watch it. Lol. The story is about an AI creator that hides behind his project basically, the project basically is the opposite of how he is in real life but how he wants to be/expresses feelings really. Then you have an innocent and sweet hard working girl that really tries to hide out because she can't fit in. They cross paths one day, you think for something random but in reality, it was for good reasoning and the rest is history. There's an instant connection but you're like to who and to where so it kind of keeps you on your toes and there's people out to get this project as well so you're like WHAT ELSE IS GONNA HAPPEN, plus of course like any angsty k-drama, there's a bad past for both of them. lol.
I personally really liked everyone's acting. The ML did great with playing a cold character but figuring he's really not like that. The FL was actually really sweet and naive and did it well. You put the two together and their chemistry was sweet. I liked the sister and coworker, I liked when the coworkers were nice, the mom I adored, the bad guys were good at what they did. It was all fitting.
I loved the music, it was a great OST. Mixture of both Korean and English really made it. It's also on APPLE MUSIC. :D
I would rewatch it lol probably if I wanted a friend to experience it or a family member or something that has never seen a drama. I think it was pretty cool for a first experience.
Overall, it was such a good drama. The acting was good, the scenery was beautiful, it's probably a little heart string tug. I loved the chemistry all in all and for something that was so short, it was filled with such a nice and flowing story. It was good.

( p.s this is my first time writing a review )Originally I didn't expect much from this drama, I honestly expected it to be cliche and like every other robot drama or a drama where the main character has face blindness. After deciding to watch it, I couldn't stop binging and ended up watching all 12 episodes in a day. Easily this drama is up high in my favourite drama's list, and I would so so watch it again.
Firstly, I would like to applaud the actors. The chemistry between Nan-Do, So-Yun and Holo was absolutely beautiful. Actor Yoon Hyun Min did such an amazing and impeccable job acting both Holo and Nan-Do, how they both were portrayed to love So-Yun was ahh beautiful. The storyline and plot overall were, to be honest, a little rushed since this is a limit series, but it was all portrayed clearly and the background stories of each character were established with such a solid foundation, it wasn't confusing to understand at all.
Overall, I would like to thank the writers and directors and actors for making such a beautiful drama. It's sad that there are only 12 episodes :( but I highly recommend this drama! I hope this helps! Sorry if my explanation isn't as complete, its hard to describe in words how I felt while watching this drama. Oh and I rate crying quality; 10/10 <3
+ please listen to the OST's ( especially eyes on you ) it's really good

I enjoyed this but I will admit it didn't get to heart-fluttering levels. I think some aspects of the attraction was actually rushed and didn't feel organic but I liked it more later in the season because by then the sacrifices felt earned and not out of nowhere. I really liked Nan Do and So Yeon and their chemistry. What made this good was Yoon Hyun-min being able to portay Holo as one character and then Nan-do as another, not to mention Nan-do's attempts to portray Holo. A good quick binge, great SFX really heightened the story, too.

easy to enjoy
I really appreciated the way this show included tropes without making it way too cheesy. I loved the slow build romance and how the growth of feelings between the female lead and the two male leads really felt natural, especially for a character who has never dated before. I enjoyed the friendships between all the different characters, the sibling bond between Nan-do and Yoojin, and even for someone like myself who doesn't care about business intrigue and sabotage, those parts kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen!!While at times the plot got a little confusing, the cast was able to maintain my interest really well. I'd love to rewatch and get to see their characters grow and change all over again.

Disappointing for this fan of all things AI
7.5/10 is my rating. This is a 2020 SoUtah Korean science fiction romance with 12, 49-57 minute episodes.Han So-yeon (Ko Sung-hee) is a pretty woman who lives a secluded life due to having prosopagnosia (inability to distinguish one face from another). iBecause of her face blindness disorder, So-yeon decided to live a reclusive life. She finds herself in the middle of a chase where one technology developer is trying to steal cutting edge artificial intelligence/ holographic technology from another and the glasses used to generate the hologram are planted on her during the chase. It is not long before the lonely young woman discovers the hologram “Holo” ( Yoon Hyun-min) and finds companionship and feels love for the AI. The genius software developer, Go Nan-do is noticing Holo doing things because of So-yeon and decides to leave Holo vvith So-Yeon to determine the full capability of the AI. Nan-do patterned “Holo” after his physical appearance when she starts using the AI program Holo whose appearance is the same as the developer, Go Nan-do. In terms of personality Holo is warm and caring where Nan-do is cold and impersonal. As So-Heinz discovers that loving an AI means having no physical contact, she meets Nan-do who moved in next to her to guard her and his creation. Nan-do was a lonely young boy who lost his mother early and developed his AI to alleviate the loneliness of himself and others like him. Holo seeing the two people as more similar than different sets out to matchmaker his “friends”.
I really wanted to like this as I like artificial intelligence based dramas. I found the romance between the female lead and holo hard to believe. They seemed like good friends but there was no depth to the relationship for it to develop into a true love. More believable would have been for the female lead to quickly fall for the inventor who looked like the hologram she liked. Instead they had her hung up on something that could never be while the real deal was pining after her. It was a bit of a shorter series anyway and it felt like a lot of time was spent on the female leaD’Souza relationship with holo and little with Nandi, the real man. Thus their love story felt rushed and not very genuine. I would not watch it again and would only recommend it to those who like the actors from other things or who just really like all aspects of AI.

Better than The King Eternal Monarch
You may be wondering why I am comparing this lower budget series to the big-budget, star-studded cast of The King Eternal Monarch. The main reason is that I was watching TKEM and good so incredibly bored and upset that I needed something to cleanse my palate. I'm not even sure what episode I stopped at? 11 maybe? I also do not know if I will be going back to it any time soon, but enough about that show.I loved this 12-episode long series. It was the perfect length! Nothing seemed drawn out! In fact, I thought some things might have happened a bit too quickly.
The story wasn't original but I love a bit of sci-fi in my rom-coms. Some of the scenes did call for you to suspend belief. Like I know Holo is an AI but does that mean he can interact with anything digital? I don't believe that. The ending was great and realistic. A nice wrap up to the storyline. I had a issues with the storyline. Though minor, I couldn't get over how quickly the ML fell in love with the FL. I also was so annoyed with the FL acting like she had some sort of right to the glasses and making demands. THE GLASSES ARE NOT YOURS MA'AM! Lol. Also, was the AI that good that she couldn't tell the difference between the AI and a person? Sometimes they were so close together. No smell? No breath? You want me to believe that lady? Like, please!
The acting was great! I felt emotional when they wanted me to be and I believed the story all of the actors were telling. There wasn't any overacting and some of the scenes were really gripping. Be warned! You might shed a tear or two. Some of the scenes were hard.
The music didn't stand out for me but it was appropriate. I don't watch dramas for music anyways but I do note when the OST is great, annoying or just fitting into the background as it should be.
Would I rewatch? I don't think so. Even though it was a good show, I didn't get that invested in the different characters that I would miss them and want to watch again.

At first I tought, okay another story when FL falls for a robot/hologram, judging by the title. I tought it was going to be another Are you human too? drama. Yet still I was rooting for human. This drama made me stressed out until the very end. Now I can finally breathe and die happy. What I'm saying is, I was never bord and sick and tired and... of the story.
The romance... the amount of romance and timing is just perfect.
The friendship between the three of them - stays there until the very end! Just right :D
Soundtrack reminds me of soundrack from My life is strage. I like the music - it's very suble and soft, the only thing is I wish there were more music but then again it would be cliche to add sweet music when FL and ML (or main leadS) hug.
Acting was flawless, I really can't say anything else. They nailed it!
After this drama I would love to see the actor that played ML in more dramas!
Rewatch rating is low since I don't usually rewatch dramas. But I really liked this one so maybe.
(Please don't take this review too seriously, I just want to have fun!)

Although, I did enjoy the kdrama overall, I found something was missing. I am not sure why it was missing from this drama, or why they choose to do this, but, I found it disapointing. The story and the plot line were good, and I think a number of fans would love this story and enjoy watching this, but for me, there is some missing elements from this kdrama. The story was pretty good although, the ending kinda was not as good or as epic as I wanted it to be. I felt like the story died around episode 9 or 10, and was really dragging by the end. Thank goodness, they did not make this 16 episodes, I would have really felt the drag. The girl did seem to care about Holo quite a bit more than our ML, so, I understand why he thought she would be happier with Holo than with him. There was a really cool part where Holo and him were fighting against the bad guys, but, that was short lived when I wanted more episodes on that and what a great team they would make together. I did like the sweet ending with the wedding, but, I found I never thought Holo was ever truly dead to it made it hard for me understand what the characters were feeling at the end when Holo was deleted. I always knew he was coming back. But, they couldn't have done anything else, so, I don't blame them too much for this. I will say this, this drama needs to be watched all at one time, binge all the way, this is not a drama to be watched week by week.
The acting was awesome! I loved all the actors. I know I have seen a lot of them in other things and Chansung was awesome here, I bet this was an introduction for some to 2PM and if so, this was a great introduction. It was obvious, they were going to redeem him when they introduced he was behind the car crash/chase early on.
Frankly, I do not remember any of the music for this drama, infact, I do not remember any points where the music took to make the scene any different if they had no sound in the background. And I found this really sad, although, they may have had some songs, I will not be looking any of them up, because I do not remember them in the drama. This made the drama feel so souless to me. In fact, the music is always something I look forward to in kdramas as standing out and being memorable, or breaking your heart, or giving you nostaglia for the time you were watching that kdrama.
Rewatch value for me is very little. I found that I might want to watch certain parts over, but, the kdrama as a whole is lacking that extra something to make this kdrama a classic one for the ages. I feel like in a decade people will forget this kdrama happened. It really feels like a webdrama in terms of feeling and soul. I don't know something was missing. This kdrama felt less epic and more like a webdrama in certain aspects I cannot comprehend. I figured out after watching this drama that there was hardly any romance between ML and the FL. The story was more about Holo developing as a hologram AI and how Magic Mirror wants to steal Holo from the ML then, the romance between the two leads which was quite sad. The romance is drama was sidelined for other plotlines that were less interesting.
In conclusion, the story idea was great, and I really liked the acting and production value, but the OSTS were lacking and I found the whole piece souless.

Boring and Stupid
StoryThe beginning of the series was cute and had some skip-a-beat moments, but from episodes 5, it started to deteriorate in a ridiculous way. It became too silly, dragged on, and ventured into boring territories. FL was supposed to realize that it was no longer the hologram in front of her, indicating a complete disregard for human instinct and senses.
Acting
There is chemistry between them and the lead actor does a great job, you can really feel the differences between the two characters he portrays, but it's not enough.
The lead actress is extraordinarily annoying; her acting is bland, her facial expressions are identical in all scenes, and she looks like a child dressed as a businesswoman.
General
The series drags on unnecessarily. It could have been much more interesting considering that we are in a real revolution of artificial intelligence, but the series is truly an insult to viewers who already know what they are facing.
It started very frighteningly because it shows how this technology is beginning to materialize and the conduct involved (for example, regularly peeking into another person's life, invading their soul and emotions, emotional manipulation, guidance from the AI to manipulate others to achieve goals, the AI's insistence on being independent, and manipulating the person who created it and gave it the freedom to act; many things that could materialize in the worst possible way).
The main character creating the AI is also intolerable due to his lack of fairness. If it had been for a short time, it might have been bearable, but it goes on and on without any guilt, and he doesn't really seem like someone capable of representing the creation of a AI. He doesn't look smart, doesn't act smart, and isn't practical in representing one of the creators of existing AI. Usually, these are people with certain human abilities, not someone who avoids being human. It makes you really detest the character. I suppose if it were a funny comedy, the stupidity could be forgiven, but unfortunately, this is not the case.

One of the most underrated kdrama. Must Watch ?
I am not really into sci-fi but this drama, MY HOLO LOVE is really an exception! The story, plot, characters, and the OST are the best! Once you started to watch the ep 1, you will definitely be hook in this unpredictable, romance between an Al and a human. It's just soooo good to watch! I You feel that you don't wanted to end it coz it's just so pefect! For the cast who portray, especially Yoon Hyun Min and Ko Sung Hee ; their chemistry is so natural! And for the director, writer, cast, and staff..thank you for making this kdrama, MY HOLO LOVE so amazing, that makes us viewers love this. <3
Definitely Highly recommended!

lovely Escapism
I don’t really know why I love that drama so much. I watched it as palate cleanser after my CLOY-obsession, a friend recommended it. And it was so amazing. I am not even interested in technology. Yoon Hyun Min was great as the ML, he is really eyecandy and there was a lot to see of him? Also, he dressed so well. My heart went out to him as Ko Nan Do and I also liked the FL. She was struggling so hard but overcame a lot. There could have been more kissing, but the romance was sweet and tore on my heartstrings somehow. I love my Tsundere hero with a heart of gold. Was this review helpful to you?

It was cute !! And the acting/chemistry was top notch
* SPOILERS ALERT*If you liked "Are you human too ?" and "I'm not a robot" then you will definitely like this one ! In fact I preferred this one over the other two, I don't really know why it just clicked more with me. And if you like when the guy is pining/longing for the FL then this drama is also perfect for you ! I love this trope and it was 100% present here.
For starters the acting was perfect. I admit I began watching this drama because of the ML (I already loved the actor in "Tunnel" and "To all the guys who loved me") and here he was just so cute ! Well this adjective describes more the AI version to be honest but even the human version was pretty cute sometimes, despite his bad boy behavior. In fact, he did an amazing job in acting the 2 versions of him. It was uncanny how he seemed so innocent and gentle in one scene (AI) and more rude and "thuggish" in the next (human). But well they're the same essentially so you'll see that the roles can be reversed sometimes !
Now talking about the FL, I didn't see any of her previous works depiste "A year-end medley" and "While you were sleeping" (and I can't really say I remembered her in these roles) but here she really made her character stand out. She is just a lonely human being who longs for affection, exactly like the ML (even if he doesn't admit it at first). However I will give you an advice if you plan to watch this drama: prepare to see the FL cry a lot. I guess it makes sense in her situation but it was just a little too much for me (still watchable though). At least it doesn't make her a damsel in distress because despite all her crying, she still fights for her loved ones (within her own limits, she's not a superhero). The secondary characters were mainly pleasant (the FL's mother and friend, the ML's sister and coworker) but nothing too extraordinary.
The only downside for me was the last 3 episodes. It focused much more on the "confronting the villain" part than the romance part but I'll say it's understandable given the other genres of the drama (SF, drama). It was still enjoyable of course but I wish we had 1 more episode to appreciate the couple "officially" together. The writers gave us a "one year later" trick and it did its job for the most part, I just wanted more of them because I loved their dynamics and chemistry. The OST was pretty good too. Even if it's not really memorable, it still worked well and didn't disturb my focus.
In spite of my little disappointment in the way things were handled at the end, it was still a satisfying ending and I don't regret watching it. I hope you will give this drama a chance because it deserves to be more notorious and loved.
